an individual trainee group formed by the hoen twins from tokyo, japan. since young, they'd been into dancing and singing and wanted to work in the entertainment industry. though they had no connections and their parents weren't super supportive, they worked hard and earned money to pay for dance classes, trained their voices using videos on youtube, and managed to land a place in genesis88.
of the two of them, akiko is better at singing, but akito is better at dancing and rap. they're both fairly shy but genuine, which gives them an unintentionally cute image. though they often stick together, akiko is slightly more open to making friends on her own, while akito mostly waits for people to approach him (which they do, thankfully).

they wanted to cover an amku song at first, but akmu didn't dance. then they thought they would cover troublemaker but were worried about the iness of the dances and public perception of themselves. they finally settled on tomorrow today because they both admire got7 and like this song. the dance is also not too hard, but it showcases their strong dance foundations.
during the audition, akiko had some trouble with strain and reaching the high notes. akito, being a weaker vocalist, also struggled to catch his breath, even though they both did fine when they were practicing. because of these hiccups, the twins were criticized for picking a song that was too vocally advanced for them, but were praised for their clean and synchronized dancing.
