谦虚 겸손 humility all children of duke jo jin have been assigned a heavenly virtue by people their father governs. hui has earned hers mainly as last pick since she is the youngest. it ironically suit her the best for her modest, empathic nature.
花瓶 화분 flower vase meaning an empty vase without flowers. addressed by other debutantes behind her back to deter suitors from pursuing hui, insinuating hui nothing without her beauty.
lady of tongues named by the help around the estates and her teachers. linguistics is typically a diplomatic skill you'd see on a man's belt. she was sent to the jo estate in gyeryong to further her studies and prepare for her debut, perfecting her skills in reading and speech.

japanese advanced. since japanese kanji is based off chinese characters, she caught on to brush quickly. she enjoys the syllabic rhythm of the language and found easier to catch onto than the tonal chinese language.
thai & khmer intermediate. hui had been wanting a challenge and these two languages fulfill that yearning. she has grown fond of the southeast asian folktales especially.
