2021 AO3 Wrapped
- With 19 fics, my AO3 word count totals 45,065.
- My favorite fic from this year may be Death Came to a Small Town, a short SHINee horror fic. Mostly because A) horror and B) a favorite slasher movie monster.
- I haven't read many fics this year, if I've even read any at all... (I don't even remember, but I do know that I haven't read anything in the last few months. ;;)
- KaiBaek is my forever favorite pairing/ship to write.
- I still don't think I do it very well, but I really like writing Baekhyun's POV.
- My favorite line is from Green Light: He'll slide down in his seat—showcasing absolutely atrocious posture—and open his legs like a coffee table book for Chanyeol to read.
- Any of the 20 fics can be considered a WIP I finished.
- I have too many WIPs to count reliably, but a big one is a cowboy AU.
- My most read fic is I don't need to hear you say you love me.
- My longest fic is My Top Secretary, at 5,008 words. (For me, that's really long.)
- My shortest fic is Sloth and Zeal, at 488 words.
- My favorite title is between Good Mousekeeping and Hocus Porcus.
- The biggest surprises while writing this year were the length of My Top Secretary and its content. I'm not into or , and it's very mild compared to others' fics, but it's a lot more than I typically go for as a writer or reader.
Like, thanks? 👍- Someday, I'll try to keep better track of what I read and whom it's by, but that was not this year. Like I stated in no.3, I've not read much this year, anyway.
- I've written 19 fics this year, all single chapters.
- Next year, I'm hoping to write more. I'd like to write at least one fic a month, but I may not join any fests at all for the first time since getting into K-pop. It'd be nice to write for myself.
