Happiness! By Park Hyungsik and Han Hyojoo! But it's more like thriller, action and a tiny wee bit of romance🤣 xD But it's good though!

Casablanca-released 1942 starring Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman, and Paul Henreid

I saw a rerun when I was in high school, and ever since, if someone asks for a movie recommendation, this is the first movie I think of.

Yes or No - Thai GL film
Your Name = Japan (an anime movie)
Crazy Little Thing Called Love = Thai
My Sassy Girl = Korean
Windstruck = Korean (prepare your tissue lol!)
The Classic = Korean
Kita Kita (eng: I See You) = Filipino (available in Netflix)
Cyborg She = Japan (w/ fantasy element)
Daddy Long Legs = Korean (prepare your tissue again lol!)
That Thing Called Tadhana (eng: That Thing Called Destiny) = Filipino [A Wattpad story that wasn't popular at first 'till a movie was created (if my memory is correct)]
Ditto = Korean (prepare your tissue for the 3rd time lmao!)
Late Blossom = Korean (watch it first before you react)
The Handmaiden = Korean GL film (prepare your holy water and bible lol!)
I Want To Eat Your Pancreas = Japan (it has both an anime and live version, it's up to you w/c one you prefer)
Initiation Love = Japan (wait for the twist)

Note: Tbh, I'm not the type to watch romantic movies rigorously but those films I mentioned above really stuck in my memory because they were well written, remarkable, and somehow unique at the time when they were released

April's Shower is my favorite, It's a Lesbian Romantic Comedy as well as It's In The Water which is a close second. It Takes Two is my favorite straight couple Romantic Comedy. As much as I love a happy ending, I'm actually not crazy about romance movies, especially the Hallmark Channel kind. I'd rather watch Horror.
