I don't know if I still want to write for (G)I-DLE or any K-Pop group anymore.

My interests have changed, I'm tired of stans and the entire community in general, and I think I'd been living too vicariously through the characters I've based on real people that I feel like I'm getting out-of-touch with reality itself.

 

Also, writing fanfics is just tedious and hassle for me now. I'd be much happier being a reader instead (but for a different fandom) and possibly making content in some other way that doesn't feel so daunting.

 

I have no plans of deleting my accounts nor any of the works that I've posted so far. But consider those unfinished stories to be discontinued. (I would say indefinite hiatus, but I doubt that I'd be coming back to them in the near future.)

 

Thank you to everyone who has supported my stories and stuck with me for this long. I know I haven't been a very good nor consistent author when it comes to fulfilling my promises and updating stories that should've reached their conclusions by this point, so I appreciate how patient you all have been with me and showing love to my works; regardless of the fact that your author is ing lazy as Hell and can never get done to save his life.

 

While I haven't been the most engaging person online, I still enjoyed replying to comments and just freely interacting with other Nevies in little doses. I've been very reclusive when it comes to the fandom (for personal/privacy reasons), but there were a select few that I had felt comfortable and honestly happy talking to. I believe you know who you are, so thank you for the short but sweet messages and fun conversations. It's well-appreciated <3

 

As for (G)I-DLE and the girls themselves, I'll still listen to their music as a casual fan and get the rest of their albums for the sake of sentimental value. But that's it, I'm not keen on being up-to-date with their socials or activities as a group or solo like before. I think I'm well past that phase now, though I'll still support them in another, more lowkey way.

 

With all that said, I believe this will be my last post on this account. Thanks again for everything. I hope you guys are still doing well. Take care as always, and goodbye.
