Once upon a time Infinite = Woollim, Woollim = Infinite. 

Infinite is Woollim's first Idol group and they hit REALLY REALLY BIG. 

People conveniently forgot how Woollim used to house singer BEFORE Infinite such as Nell, Epik High and several artist who unfortunately never make it big. Nell and Epik High is BIG tho. But because they are not Idol, they are rarely talked about.

Some Inspirit conveniently forget how Infinite used to promote by riding Epik High name and then they are angry when Lovelyz and Golden Child do exactly the same. Some Inspirit conveniently forget how Woollim throw Tablo under the bus when scandal hit him for the sake of Infinite. I will never forgive Woollim for that, but I actually understand their point of view from business. Tablo himself say that Woollim CEO personally ask his forgiveness because at the times, they dumbly didn't know any other better option. Exactly how they handle L's dating scandal, Jisoo lesbian scandal, and Woohyun speculation one night stand scandal. They are dumb and didn't know how to handle scandal. Bribing the perpetrator and L's girlfriend to shut their mouth and ignoring Woohyun speculation by media is not the best way to go. Eventho seeing how Cube handle their scandal Woollim looks better in comparison. Aside from L's dating, the rest proven to be false, but how Woollim handle it is so bad that their name kinda tarnished. But I can't entirely blame them, the fault is lied in these anonymous netizen who spread false rumor afterall. But for God sakes, they could handle it better.

And OMG Woollim is so bad at management and marketing all for the sake of their image. They tend to reject offer for their artist image, but throwing opportunity to hit big at the same time. This is the decision of the higher up and I am sure some staff is not the best either but to be ing honest, in term of managing, promoting, and treating their artist, Woollim is actually quite decent lol. Their biggest mismanagement to be ing honest is letting Hoya go without giving condition to stay in Infinite when he decided to leave the agency. But back then this is not the trend. The first group who set this kind of condition is  BEG. Or maybe Hoya just ing done with group dynamic, or maybe Woolim didn't give him the option because they are desperate to keep Hoya in Woollim, we will never know. From then on everything goes downhill for Infinite. Woollim act like they are under fire and focusing on giving all they have to Lovelyz while act all confused about what to do with Infinite. That is what Woollim get for not giving a freedom to their artist. They learn from that and let their artist produce some song now. Wow yes, shocking right? They actually learn from their mistake lmao. I think that is quite transparent with how Myungsoo capable to stay in Infinite eventho he left from Woollim, followed by Sunggyu, Sungyeol, and Dongwoo. It is all about the ing contract. But the growth tho. They used to not have a ing subtitle, but now they are getting better. They used to prohibited their artist from using vlive but now they let them (still with supervision ofc).

I know Woollim have their share of flaw, but it is very unsettling for me everytime fans blame everything to Woollim, because guess what? They actually do their ing job. Actually  for small agency with 5 group under their name, and one upcoming solo, they are doing fantastic, but guess what, fans like to say let us all blame everything wrong on Woollim and conveniently forgot their contribution when everything is great. The fact that their artist can talk about them, I think, is already great indicator. Because ofc working environment have flaw, you will never found perfect working environment in the face of earth. And it is quite healthy of the artist to called the agency out freely, but maybe still with some restriction. Like Woollim just accept the fact that they will be the target of the burnt of the anger of the fans because ofc fans will view thier idol as this victim who can do no wrong. But btw how they handle Tag's falling scandal is weird tho. But ofc fans react exactly how Woollim described them to be: feral and unforgiving. 

I know every fans loves to hate their fave agency, like how SM artist fans hate SM, and so on. But please don't be so ing ignorant. Yes Rocket Punch album is stapled but surprise surprise a lot of arstist have already done exactly the same for their album including Taemin. Yes Woollim staff sometimes use free sample for their design, but at least they are not blatantly plagiarize other artist like SM does. The designer for Golcha album already addressed the rumor about how they plagiarize Got7 design, and they deny it. At the end of the day, that is the fault of the designer to not realize how similar their design is (if he really doesn't plagiarize it at all).

Fans always scream about how Woollim abandoned their senior artist, but surprised surprised all of small agency do exactly the same when they have newer group to focus on, even big agendy. How many group at Infinite and Lovelyz age coming from small agency still promoting regularly? None. Like how can you compare Woollim with Cube? Lmao make it make sense. Lovelyz is still intact while CLC, from all I know have one member suing the agency. Teen top have Ljoe left and sue their agency. Beast practically left and sue their agency together and Hyunseung left the group. Gfriend disbanded before their contract ended. Yes OMG still promoting but they hit BIG late, and they are WM's only bread winner aside from their only rookie ONF, thus why ofc their agency will sow the high water. Don't forget the hate bandwagoing Lovelyz receive because of Queendom, which is tbfh is the result of evil editing. Actually business wise, Woollim should force Lovelyz to comeback right away, because business wise, bad promotion is good promotion. But once again, for their image (but actually it is good for their mental health too) they witheld their promotion because of how bad the backlash is. But real honest talk, I don't understan why generally international fans have a ing hate toward Woollim artist. I can understand if they claim some of Woollim artist are nugu, because God know how bad Woollim is at marketing. But to undervalue Infinite achievement? To hate on Mijoo and called her fake without actually knowing her real persoanlity? I don't know why they treated them unfairly like that. But karma works tho because now Mijoo conquering the entertainment world with her real personality shining.

Yes ofc Woollim have their flaws, but all thing considered, I think they treat their artist with enough respect if you compare them with another small agency. Fortunately they have enough backbone when some netizen attempted to make rumor about Junho. They show effort to keep Jisoo in Lovelyz and support her thorough her scandal. They actually promote Golden Child REAL HARD after 1 year of hiatus and didn't force Joochan to promote while he is still healing from his injury. Like, did you know one small agency that  willing to keep promoting their rookie group after one year hiatus aside from Woollim? I think the not. Pristin disbanded eventho they show good result. even Gfriend disbanded BEFORE THEIR CONTRAT ENDED.

Woollim have their share of flaws, but knowing a lot of agency who does worse than them it kinda irks me when fans act like Woollim is the scum of the earth lol. They always scream for them to change agency or make their own agency themself lmaoooooooo. Did you realize that you favorite group is produce by their agency? That you will never have these group if the agency didn't raised them, nurtured them, and produced them? If they ended up in another agency, what makes you sure they will be treated any better lmao. All agency care about is money, Woollim included.

If you are Winner stan, Day6 stan, or f(x) stan, you will know how Woollim actually treat their artist almost equally. I say almost because situation is changing. When they only have Infinite they can focus on Infinite only, thus why everything is great untill they have hoobae. And now the hoobae can't get the same support because they still have sunbae group who still need to promote. In short Woollim is short on manpower. Why is that? Because none of their group get the same result as Infinite. GP have this mobing mentality, so they will not care about Woollim artist if they didn't mediaplay enough, and Woollim REALL REALLY notorious about how they didn't mediaplay their artist enough. You see, the only reason Woollim agree to merge with SM SUBSIDIARY which is SM C&C is to take advantage of their marketing knowledge. But turn out, SM C&C doesn't do so Woollim decide to be independent AGAIN. When they merge, they became WOOLLIM LABEL and everytime they work independently they become WOOLLIM ENTERTAINMENT. This is the biggest stupid decision by Woollim. Well they have good intention but SM is ing and they didn't get anything aside from labeling that they are UNDER SM FOR ETERNITY EVENTHO THAT IS NOT ING TRUE.

It is all about the contract. You see, Sungjong is the first member of Infinite who sign his contract extention with Woollim when fans foaming in the mouth claiming Sungjong is the most mistreated Infinite member. Genius of you to think you know the condition better than Sungjong himself. And we still doesn't  know what Dongwoo will do or if any agency actually contact Dongwoo, or if Dongwoo can still promote at all after leaving Woollim. What would you prefer then?

I know there are Woollim apologist who can't see their fault. But no, pointing out their good quality doesn't make people 'Woollim apologist'. For sake I pointed out all their flaw, I just doesn't want to be so blind to not acknowledge that they are actually decent. I want to address the CEO scandal too lol. Sunggyu, Woohyun, and Lee Jungyeop are drinking together and Woohyun ing turning on the vlive. They are bantering and Jungyeop hitting Woohyun's head by a ing paper lightly. And Sunggyu and Jungyeop are quite tipsy at this point. Jungyeop dissing Woohyun too. And Woohyun, the diva, turn to the fans and  talk like, "Did you see it? He hit me!" Which is for me just looked like usual banter between close coleague to be ing honest. Why would WOOHYUN turn on the vlive if he is not comfortable enough around his CEO? But of course fans take it to their ing fragile heart lol. I swear Woohyun akgae is the scariest. They curse the CEO because he is drunk, dissing Woohyun, and hit him in the head. Well that is stupid of the CEO. But Sunggyu is ing drunk too and Infinite dissing each other on the daily basis and fans LOVES THEM WHEN THEY DISS EACH OTHER. Well the CEO is only human so ofc he has flaws, and the scandal when he called Inspirit (when the truth can't be verified either because it comes from Cina fans, and God know how horrible China fans can be) because some of Inspirit actually act like a is wild. You called Lee Jungyeop names too so why would you be surprised if he called you names too lol. It is not like he did it publicly. As stupid as he is the backlash for the CEO is beyond what he deserved I think. Because no matter what, he really give a lot of sacrifice for Infinite in the past without guaranteed success but he still did beacuse he believes in Infinite. The way Woohyun decide to sign the contract extention is just a ing cherry on top.
