♪ a social butterfly is what liah is as she doesn't seem to have issues when it comes to building connections. talking to others comes off naturally to her as she is a people person and is socially dynamic.
♪ she thrives well in social settings and keeping a conversation is easy for her even if it's someone she has just met. she could have a whole convesation with the person working behind the cash register while she's trying to make a purchase.
♪ not only does she adapt well in social settings, she adapts well in most settings where she thinks on her feet and outside of the box. she's quick to come up with solutions and to overcome difficulties.

♪ her parents has always been well off as her dad works as a dentist and her mother works as an accountant (every year, she helps a number of people in town with tax returns). therefore, a lot of people knew of the won family and of their reputation.
♪ lived in a neighborhood with people who were also well off.
♪ she had a passion for music since she was very young after going to a live orchestra with her parents and growing up listening to various musicians playing instruments.
♪ received a lot of materialistic things in life and was gifted her first cello at the age of 8. she received cello lessons shortly after and tarted playing the cello since then. usually children grow out of their interests and get bored of the toy in their hand really quickly. but she was an exception and definitely had a gift when it came to playing the cello. she received a lot of compliments and praise throughout all of her childhood.

♪ she went to sterling academy after a very long process of putting together a portfolio, playing pieces, playing scales and sightreading. she was very nervous about the whole process and practiced a lot for it.
♪ eventually, she did get accepted and at sterling, she was able to meet haeun and the others. she was also able to meet dr.chan. someone who she really looked up to and was very thankful of her warm demeanor. dr, chan was very helpful and always gave the best tips.

♪ currently lives at a house off-campus. the house is pretty much a place the owners rented out to strictly students as a form of extra income and for any students who didn't want to live on-campus. the first floor consists of a kitchen and a bathroom. the basement consists of a washing machine and two fridges. and last but not least, the second floor consists of a smaller bathroom and a total of 4 rooms, each being occupied by one female. each room is relatively the same size. 2 walk in closets, one bed, one desk and a ceiling fan.
♪ the house is located very close to campus. it takes about 5-8 minutes to walk to campus depending on how fast liah is willing to move her legs.
♪ liah's schedule usually varies as sometimes, she has night classes and sometimes she has afternoon classes. she tends to have a very organized schedule as she wakes up at 9:30 am every morning no matter what time her classes are. she will use the morning to do her business in the bathroom, take a quick shower, get dressed and eat a good meal. she likes to eat out a lot but on the days that she doesn't, she either has left overs from the previous takeout meal or she made herself something very simple like rice and spam. then she would head to campus and get herself either a chai latte or a matcha latte. she would go to class at her designated times. but when she doesn't have class, she enjoys spending time at the studio on campus just to practice playing her cello on a daily basis.
♪ on weekends, she does her laundry and uses some time to grocery shop with one of her housemates. sometimes, they would even go thrifting and watch k-dramas together. if she's not satisfied with her cello skills for that week, she would definitely go to campus and put in some time to practice on the weekend. but if she's satisfied with her cello playing for that week, she will use the weekend to do things named above.

Trivia.
♪ had to juggle everything out between homework, school, recitals, playing at orchestras, playing at chamber ensembles and cello lessons. it was definitely hard and stressful for a child but was eventually able to get use to it

What's your favorite piece of music?
honestly, i would say anything from yo yo-ma and boccherini! but if i had to pick one piece, i would definitely choose yo-yo ma's the swan. it's honestly so beautiful and it's such a dynamic yet gentle piece at the same time. there's a story behind it and it's very easy to put yourself in that story. also, i must say - his vibrato skills never fails to amaze me.
If you could go anywhere, where would you go?
i would really love to visit paris! i think it's such a romantic yet beautiful place. i would love to meet people there and maybe have a performance there. it doesn't have to be an official and professional setting. it can simply be just me playing at the center of a courtyard so people can enjoy my music and eat their food at the same time. maybe, i can even play some pieces for someone's wedding!
What or who do you miss the most?
not going to lie, i really missed the way we supported each other as a quartet. we all had our own talents and own expertise and although we had our ups and downs, we had good moments. i also really missed hearing my name come out of people's mouths and the praise i received.
Where do you see yourself at fifty years old?
i would like to be one of the best cellist in the entire world. i want to be well-known and i want people to enjoy my music and see me as liah won, the cellist. i don't necessarily have to be a solo player as i don't mind being in a team but i wish to find that team where we can all be in sync and have the perfect harmony.
If you could become someone else, would you? Who?
i would pick boccherini. if you were to google best cellists, he's usually number one on the list. he's no longer here on this planet as a physical human being but till this day, his music is still a topic and his talent is still recognized. he will eternally be recognized for who he is.
Relationships.
* HAEUN. one similarity the two girls have is that they love words of affirmation. but the two are also two very different people. they are their own individual. they have had their ups and downs but they've also had moments where they have shared laughter, happiness and warmth.
"honestly, i do miss haeun the most. she can run a bit at times but i understand her humor. we did have our different point of views but we're two different people working in the same team with others. there will bound to be differences. i miss the days where we shared the same red lipstick and when we send each other dumb memes and tik toks." -liah won
* JIHO. (fc: clc's elkie) currently a sophomore and is majoring in computer science. the housemate that liah goes out on grocery shopping dates and thrifiting dates with. they also enjoy watching k-dramas together. one k-drama they've recently been trying to catch up on is mine on netflix. jiho is unaware of liah's past and selfish ambition as jiho poses no threat at all. not only is she younger but she's of a completely different major than liah. they are on good terms and reallly enjoy each others' company.
* DR.CHAN. when liah was in sterling, dr. chan was pretty much a mentor to her and an inspiration. liah looked up to her and always received the utmost support from her. dr. chan was always providing with tips and suggestions especially since liah was an orchestra player and dr. chan performed in several orchestras from around the world. liah also watched the cantonese indie film dr. chan was in to show support and appreciation. indeed, the film lived up to its' reputation as a cult-favorite. to liah, not only was dr.chan her favorite teacher and mentor; but she in her heart, she was an angel sent from the heavens and it was inevitable that all the students loved her to the depths of their hearts.
