at first glance, tarin seems like someone who is all smiley and quiet. she is shy around strangers and doesn't talk a lot. but she is easy-going and laid back, even to someone new to her. she tries to be this way because she doesn't want to be all rigid, so that she isn't took as someone who is rude because she doesn't talk much. but when you get to know her, you will be greeted with cheery tarin who's full of ideas, and someone who is very easily inspired by literally anything. she also become very bright, very engaging, talking a lot whether she gets excited. as she has many ideas, she imagines a lot.
she's full of love who's very affectionate to people she cares. she also loves hugs! she's warm and have many ideas to cheer up someone. she also gets touched easily and very sincere with everything she does. she'll always say thank you to someone over small things. but as she is an introvert, she'll also need a lot of time to recover from all the social interactions. she's pretty comfortable in locking herself private.

but when it comes to meet expectations, tarin can be very insecure with what she can do and her thoughts will attack her and made it even worse. at times like these she need support from someone else. she can lock herself up for days, and drown herself in her mental breakdowns. this can also trigger her laziness, as she keep overthinks and sink down.
background :
tarin was born to a middle-class family in seoul. her father is a salaryperson and her mother is a florist. she's the only daughter. her parents had always wanted her to pursue a stable career like doctor or lawyer, but she doesn't feel the same. since she was young, she has always liked dancing. every day after going back from school, she would dance to the songs on radio and pretend she's on stage. she had said she wanted to be something along idol, and her parents denied her, saying it's not something she would want. but after seeing her dancing, her parents started sending her to acrobatic gymnastic academic. in 2011, she got into one-year exchange program to canada and joined gymnastics academy there too. the academy definitely helped in enhanced her techniques, and how to be expressive. in 2013, she braved herself to go to several auditions, for experience. she didn't expect anything. until sm accepted her. after persuading her parents with the excuse that this will be only a training progress, they let her train. eventually, she quitted sm after 9 months. she wasn't ready to be bashed by her parents, so she immediately auditioned again. this time, royal flush accepted her.

after her experiences in sm, she tried her best to stand up. she relied a lot on her dance skills as her main point. she setted aside her shy and timid self, and transformed everytime she perform. she also struggled a lot with her vocals, but with other trainees' help, she's able to improve.

what's the weirdest thing that has ever happened to you? : "one day in a broadcasting station, i noticed there are other artist's room that were empty. it was because we were recording a special pre-recorded stage. since it was recorded on different day of the broadcasting day, there were no other artists. or... supposed to. so i just went to another room to sleep, because our current backstage room was so chaotic. i know, i know, it was probably against the rules but i was sooo sleepy. and i checked on the door there was no other artist name!" /laughs at herself bcs how stupid she sounds/ "so i just went there, made myself comfortable and slept. turns out... it was other boygroup's room." /laugh as she recalls the sight, embarassed/ "so i just apologized real quick and yeet out of there. i don't know who were they because i can't meet their faces and i didn't bother to check their door for name because i was too embarassed. i'm still now. and what boygroup it was is still a mystery to me."
