+ Nari is loyal to a fault, she will do anything possible to not turn her back on someone she cares for or needs help. It’s in her nature to help people so when she can she will. She is good at split second decisions, she relies on her gut feeling for most of her decisions, it hasn’t really led her astray so far so she’s going to keep relying on it. She can be the biggest cheerleader for those who are in her corner. She hates seeing young people not believe in themselves when she had so much support when she was little. She refuses to budge on her beliefs, there is a right and there is a wrong, there is grey in a few things but not very many. She doesn’t like being down for very long, life is too exciting to not experience it all and enjoy it while you can. She likes trying new things and she almost never says no to an adventure.

- Nari is just tired; tired of where she is, tired of being poked and prodded all the time, tired of not having anyone she can trust with her. She hates that she feels so alone, even when she was having a rough time with school she wasn’t alone, there really is no one she can turn to in her currant situation, she is alone. She hates how it is making her feel and how she is reacting to it. Sometimes she feels like she just has to explode and she can move on from it, she is getting more and more angry more and more of the time. She feels like there isn’t much more she can take, she is going to fall apart eventually if she doesn’t get a brake of some sort. She has been fighting with people over stupid things and has tried to hurt the staff a few times as well. She just cant control the anger. She hates where she is, she hates her life and she hates that she has little perspective now, what can she do with her life now except hide away. She sure cant become a fashion designer now, she’s a freak, who would want to live with a freak? She cant trust anyone there, people often throw others under the bus for almost anything. Hell, she’s thrown people under the bus for a leg up. If someone else is being punished then your not the one being punished.

The first semester of college wasn’t the best for her. She didn’t get along with her roommates, her friends were always busy with their own classes and she hadn’t really connected to any of her classmates. She happen to bump into a guy at the library and hit it off, it was purely chance but once they started hanging out her other friends started finding more time to hang out with her. She moved apartments, started designing clothes for guys and things started to look up.
Over the next few years she started dating the guy, they got an apartment together, she was focused in a local magazine for her clothes and she even sold a few designs. Her parents were proud of her and she felt great about herself.
During one exam week Nari was studying late at a café just outside campus. She hadn’t realized how late it was getting, the café was a 24 hour one so she didn’t have to, but she packed up and started home. She didn’t see the hit coming, all she felt was a pain in her head and everything went dark
When she finally came to she was disorientated and couldn’t move. Her arms were tied tightly behind her and her ankles were bound together. There was heavy breathing around her so she knew she wasn’t alone but she couldn’t see anything. She heard voices but they were muffled, almost like they were behind a set of doors or something. The door was opened and the sounds of arguing poured in, something about a price to be paid and if they had enough people.
Nari had been kidnapped buy two men who owed a debtor a large amount of money. The man was looking for people no one would miss, homeless people or girls from the red district. He was angry about Nari, that much was obvious, she was going to be missed but it was too late to do anything about it now.
The van they were in started moving again but she couldn’t tell where they were or where they were going. It seemed to take hours, Nari guessed they back tracked to make sure they weren’t followed so they had to be going to a secret location.
The location they ended up at was a combination of a laboratory and a prison. There were bars on the windows but the doors inside were made of glass with sensors and monitors everywhere. Nari was given a awful jumpsuit, a bracelet with her information on it and a pair of thin slippers. She was freezing most of the time but that was all she had to wear.
Things started off simple, like a very in depth physical. They got vitamins every day, or what they were told were vitamins. They were never in the same group of people for very long, there were some people that Nari got to see once and never again. She had a small room with a bed, a end table and a desk plus two changes of the same set of clothes and she spent most of her time in her room.
One day she woke up with a head ache, a body ache, she felt like she was going to die she was so sick. The staff seemed overly excited about it but she just wanted to stay in bed. They made her do even more tests than before but they seemed rather annoyed with her results. One morning she awoke and her entire room was engulfed in flames. She crawled to the door and pounded on it but the door didn’t open. She ended up curling in a ball, waiting for the flames to burn her, but it didn’t happen. A burning chunk of her blanket floated to her and landed on her but it didn’t burn her. Her clothes burned off but her skin wasn’t even singed. She could feel the heat but it wasn’t bad, just a comforting warm.
Hours later, once all the heat from the ashes died down the door behind her swung open and she was pulled out of her room. She was hooked up to all kinds of monitors, given new clothes and had all kinds of samples taken; blood, hair, tissue and saliva. She was able to take a show, alone with good soap, and the water was actually hot this time.
Her new room was in a different wing and there were two beds in it. Her roommate was a sour guy a few years younger than her who had a thing for water. The two of them didn’t get along and hardly ever spoke to the other while they were in their room, when they did it was fighting. There were a few fights were Nari would burn things or he would try to flood the room. She asked to get a new roommate but it always fell on deaf ears.
For the longest time Nari did everything she could to fight them. She wouldn’t willingly have the tests done, they had to hold her down to get samples and she refused to use her powers at the beginning. She didn’t want to be a gunnie pig, unfortunately for her though they found leverage against her.
There was a staff member who had the power over frigid temperatures and once he found out how much it hurt Nari he would often seek her out to use it on her. If she spoke out of turn he would turn her skin blue or freeze the liquid in her lungs. If there was a fight and she was near by he would freeze her limbs to the point that she thought they were going to fall off. She had to go to the medical wing more than once for frost burn or hypothermia but he just loved doing it. He was her personal torture device so they used him to keep her in line and on track with their goals. Eventually she stopped fighting just so he would stop hurting her.
She started getting good with her powers, she was able to melt almost any metal and control most of the fires in the building. She has had to put out a few from the others so she gets plenty of opportunities to practice. Once she was able to pull magma from the ground, but she was in the sub basement and by the time it reached her it had cooled, but she still was able to do it.
One afternoon Nari wasn’t able to go back to her room. She spent the night in the medical wing before being reassigned a new partner. When she went to her new room she wasn’t expecting to recognize them, but she did. She felt like her entire body was frozen when she saw her boyfriend of three years sitting on a bed, staring at his hands. She couldn’t speak as the door slammed shut behind her and she couldn’t move as he looked up at her. When he went to touch her she pulled away, angry and ashamed about what she was now but he spent a long time explaining how he has been looking for her all this time and what he went though to get to her.
They rearranged their room, pushing the beds together and moving everything else out of the way. They spent that night together in what seemed like forever. It was the first time Nari felt any kind of hope, she actually had a glimmer of happiness when she woke up and saw Chunho. She felt like, no matter what happened now, he was with her so they could make it.
