( persona ) : initially: the dazzling foreigner | later: multi-talented powerhouse / Although Aimie doesn't quite understand it, she's marketed as the dazzling foreigner in Razzle Dazzle because she's not a main in anything (and as such can't claim to be a powerhouse or anything too incredible), but she's a very good vocalist and dancer and she's obviously the most visibly foreign member of the group. Later, after Aimie becomes more comfortable with herself within the group, after she becomes more open with the fans concerning her struggles as a RD member and how she's presented by the company (potentially before or after she begins releasing OSTs and solo stuff), the fans rename her their multi-talented powerhouse because she's an underrated vocalist, a great dancer, a visual in every regard except that she's not Korean (and thus makes her a fan favorite among those outside of the country), and she's relentlessly hard-working. ( stage name ) : Ai [에이] / Ai is one of Aimie's more common nicknames, but Ai also has a double meaning in that in Japanese and Chinese (and likely other languages), the word "ai" means and is associated with the word love. Aimie felt "Ai" was a fitting stagename, especially as she invents herself in an industry known to tear down the uncommona dn unusual, and in a group meant to promote the concept of self-love and pride.

• vocal / Hwasa x x (backup: Wheein x x) ; Aimie has a set of pipes. Like, the sort of pipes and voice that you can hear pitched above a mob in full cry. She's got a voice, and she absolutely knows how to use it. But because of thre color of her skin, her heritage, Aimie has been critically undervalued and undermined over the years by every company she's auditioned for just because of his visual differences. But that hasn't stopped Aimie from working hard to strengthen her voice over the years, nor has it dampened her spark. She has an incredible powerful voice with a very mature, soulful sound that sounds best with ballads and more RnB style songs, but still sounds good with more pop or dance-focused. Mamamoo has opted to remove the leads/mains in their positions, which suits me fine because while Solar is a stunning vocalist, Hwasa is just as good and definitely has that soulful vibe I envision for Aimie! I also went off of Zendaya's actual height (then lowered it a little) and the official weight listed for LeeSem of 9Muses, who is, at present, the tallest known female idol in kpop!
