chanhee is someone who thinks his place his place in life was always right there waiting for him. he ever mentioned that before he knew it, he was born into this world, and before he knew it, he had many friends in school despite his awkwardness. but when he got scouted and the hope of debuting seemed walk away from his life, that changed. but still, he's the type of person who is goes with the flow rather than stand up for his own.
he is the one who is always on time when it comes to practice. and you can see he'd still stay in practice room 'till very late at night. it isn't rare to see him spending the night in that room alone to perfect his movement.
he puts other people's needs above his. even if he doesn't intentionally does this, chanhee is always worries about the ones he cares more than himself. when someone tells chanhee about a problem or a struggle, he always wants to take the burden from them. well, he has been taught from a young age that it's important to be nice, kind, and agreeable and to put other people's wants and needs before his own. and then he gets so reinforced for this that he ends up taking it to an extreme where he's chronically taking care of other people but never addressing his own wants and needs. he constantly denying his own wants and needs by being overly-accommodating of others that he ends up taking things personally more often than he should. in short : that he doesn't matter.
chanhee is a spontaneous person. he is charming and full of energy and real person of action. he keeps a clear head and the overview even in difficult situations. this makes him popular problem solvers, his ability of being able to absorb and process information is phenomenal. but because he is always thinking, he's spacing out often. but even so, he rarely nervous or overexcited. most of the time you'll see he's a cool and collected person. but as a socially awkward person, he can getting anxious around strangers. fear of judgment, fear of crowds, fear of saying the wrong thing. those keep him away from situations where he has to interact with strangers. he just feels that something isn't right.

dancing was already his passion ever since he was young. upon this, he often does some street performance with his friends back then. until one day, he met k.tune's president and recruited to the agency.
although he was scouted by the president himself, chanhee, later on, realized that he can't sing and rap. he often criticized this area too. sana told him he was just embarrassed when he was singing and that's why his voice sounds weird. the girl then took him to walk and came up with the idea that they would sing if they want to tell something. they even told their embarrassing lines on the street in front of a lot of people and that was when chanhee started to overcome his embarrassment and finally managed to sing well.
later on, chanhee learned that he was not wanted, that nobody in the company would give him a chance to debut. the reason? it remained a mystery. no matter how much he practices or helping the other artist in their choreography, the staff took his hard work for granted. they never acknowledge his effort in improving his vocal and rap as well. good thing, he never neglects his education thus despite his tight practice schedule, he managed to get his diploma.

you can see they usually hang out after practice, having dinner together outside, just two of them without the other boys. while chanhee thinks about his insecurity, eunjung would boost up his spirit, saying that actually his rap and sing isn't that bad. shortly said, eunjung is like his support system.
chanhee isn't good at expressing his feelings for women. no wonder he has been single all this time lmao. but eunjung isn't a dense woman. when the other boys still blind, she can sense he started to develop feelings for her. once in a while, she'd boldly flirt with him which makes chanhee flustered because he doesn't know how to react.
