jichae is best described as an optimistic, energetic, and short-tempered girl, which is consistent with her normally exaggerated expressions. due to her great determination, she is always up for a challenge, even if it seems too difficult for her. as jichae is very kind, and truly compassionate, people are often drawn to her happy disposition. through her impression of yuju, jichae realized she has to work hard to achieve her dreams. this contributes to her improved her rapping skills a lot.

her recklessness, coupled with repeated rule-breaking, and inferior skills, sets her off from the rest of the trainee. that's why she was kicked out from sm. even until now, it makes her an eyesore to fnc staffs. however, her determination to be like her idol, sistar's bora and desire to spread joy with through her performance was the thing that makes the company keep her.

jichae is plagued by insecurities over her skills and compared herself with the seemingly flawless yuju as result. she initially believed that emulating bora and outperforming yuju are the best way to prove herself only to be rebuked by eugene, with the older advised that she should prove herself with her own qualities instead.

jichae is creative eschews tradition for innovation. however, she does not have a great sense of her own capabilities and her insecurities contributes to a tendency to look before she leaps.

she can go from waking up with the birds singing and everything is lovely and she loves life and everyone in her life is just fabulous to... "i hate everyone. i hate this. i hate you. i don't understand why everyone is so annoying." like... even smallest thing can ignite her temper easily.

despite her impulsiveness and temperamental side, ultimately jichae is a person who will risk her own self and her reputation to do what is right. her kind heart has allowed her to feel sympathy towards the others. moreover, jichae's peerless compassion, coupled with her selflessness and determination, became the key factor of edward drawn to her in the first place. it also allowed her to gain so many friends as well as earning respect from her fellow trainee rivals. the loyalty that was formed from her compassion was strong that jichae's trainers and soon-to-be groupmates protect her position in the company despite her reckless and strive to the soulmate things.

you may know some people which tell stories about their puppies' daily life and the innumerable ways to cook herring. inevitably if this situation happen, jichae would interrupt to snap, “get to the point!” jichae has no problem speaking her minds, so whenever someone else can’t come to the point quickly enough, she loses her patience, and she tells you pretty bluntly.

a hoarder. she still has her baby clothes on her first day of kindergarten, and can’t bring herself to part with the sequined monstrosity she wore to junior prom, this is her. she doesn't have organization scheme and some self-restraint. she can't force herself to part with things that she doesn't absolutely need. so when you step into her room, its a total mess you'd see.

background　jichae was born in seoul, from a family without musical lineage. when she was twelve years old, her aunt brought her to sistar's concert. amazed and inspired by the show, she wished to become an idol someday, just like sistar's bora.

one day, she found out that starship, an agency which sistar belongs to, was accepting trainee. despite her total ignorance of vocal, dance, and rap, she managed to enroll there. it wasn't just because of the captivating beauty that made the staff chose her though. yes, she might lack a lot, but she showed a great determination so that they thought she might have a chance to improve her skills.

being in a big 3 meant the competition was getting tougher. one mistake and you'd be kicked out of the agency. and that was what happened to her. she was a reckless teenage girl. she was curious about the club and went there with one of her friends. too bad, an agency staff caught her and she kicked out immediately.

of course jichae wasn't quickly has a close relationship on the beginning of their meeting. well, jichae was a newbie trainee while yeongja already was much on higher level than her. but she was definitely up there on the bar. with all the lovable aura around her, she was able to bond with almost every people in agency including yeongja. she especially loves yeongja's compassionate and humble side and jichae obviously felt like she finally have an older brother she never had before. though she moved to other agency, their communication still going on. he was the one who always support her and push her to pursuit her dream. honestly, jichae could relax a bit about the whole soulmate things thanks to yeongja. at least the older always makes his time to hear her ramble though sometimes he'd about edward as well. jichae really hopes she can be as great as yeongja someday. yeah, though she never admits it, she also look up to yeongja aside of her role model bora.

marks　the timers first appeared on her wrist around march last year. it was like a digital clock that shows day, hour, and minute : 365 : 00 : 00. as for jichae lucky enough there aren't much people put attention to the mark. they though it simply a digital clock tattoo. so jichae never really put any effort to cover that thing. she think by putting extra effort to hide the mark, more suspicious they become. but her soon-to-be groupmates noticed that the number changed every minute, hour, and day of course as they lived together. but as they love each other very much, they help jichae cover up that deal.

it's quite troublesome for edward as he's an idol. once the mark appeared, he has no choice other than always wearing long-sleeve outfits to cover that. lucky enough, same case with jichae, his fellow members were quite cooperative with this. they help him cover his soulmate mark. later after he met jichae and the mark stuck in 00.00.00, he started to back to his normal state. wearing short-sleeved outfit and simply said to his company that he made a 'usual' tattoo.

she doesn't remember when the start but slowly one patch of skin on her right wrist have a few lines. she noticed few dotes appeared later that week but ignore as it easily overseen. but by times, it become something like tattoo and on her white skin, it can be seen clearly as well. one unique thing about the tattoo isn't just because it appeared on its own. but just like a timer, the number changed every minute, hour, and day. that day, she realized, it was a soulmate mark.

cherry bullet's all rounder as well as the one who people claimed has an unearthly visual like jichae. she's a singing queen, and rap goddess. when jichae first introduced to the members, she envied yuju the most. off camera, she kind of has a darker side, she prefers being alone and you might think her hates everyone. in fact, she's a total introvert. she loves her member but she prefers hiding under her blanket rather than engaged in an endless conversation with the others. hates to do aegyo too! though the two often scouted as models in various brands, jichae rarely interacted with her. nonetheless, she still love her as one of her sis.

kim bora

the one who has same name with jichae's role model. bora's personality type is quite unique. though sensitive, bora has excellent analytical abilities; though reserved, she has well-developed people skills and robust social relationships; and though she is generally a conservative type, bora is often receptive to change and new ideas. she's like a sister jichae never had before. the one she'd come to whenever she needs an advice.

her real name is katsuno rise, a japanese member. remi is a true free spirit. she is often the life of the party, but remi is less interested in the sheer excitement and pleasure of the moment than she is in enjoying the social and emotional connections she makes with others. charming, independent, energetic and compassionate. when you put jichae and remi in a room, a gossip girl-like scene you get. the two 'it girl' full of energy kind of... intimidating for other girls.

chaerin always has an impact on her immediate surroundings – the best way to spot her at a party is to look for the whirling eddy of people flitting about her as she moves from group to group. laughing and entertaining with a blunt and earthy humor, chaerin loves to be the center of attention. jichae and chaerin had their clashing moment due to their bluntness often. but there's no bad blood between them though.

since cherry bullet's line up announced to the trainees, eugene also appointed as their manager. for jichae, eugene is like her mom. she's a driven woman. she gives the girls gifts when they did a great job, but won't hesitate to punish them when they made mistake as well. she lets them do whatever they want as long as it doesn't cross the company's rules. she's not controlling, but definitely strict. If there's a schedule, you must follow it. she doesn't beat around the bush. she regards all the girls as her own daughter. thus, she felt really bertrayed when she found out jichae had something going on with edward without her knowing.
