- isekai ('falling' into a fantasy world)
- parallel worlds/reincarnation

- hurt/comfort (usually i like to do this by having one of characters get drunk at a bar lmao)

- ancient (for me i take inspiration from china but other cultures are nice to read about too)
- alternate jobs (for my fandom, it's always either ceo/chaebol and employee/really poor person or baker/chef and kindergarten teacher LOL)
