A quick head's up

Hey!  

I just wanted to let you know that from this day forward, I won't be uploading any new stories or updates to my current ones. After all this time and after a year of not being productive when it comes to writing at all, it doesn't feel right anymore. It's no fun, it's pure pressure if anything.

I tried to focus on some new ideas to get the words flowing, but there is not a single oneshot, not one chapter that I'm satisfied with or pleased with how it turned out. All of this has become a chore rather than a hobby. Which is not what it should be.

It does make me kind of sad because writing has been a great part of my life. Two or three years ago, I wrote 10.000 words in one day and I still had more to say. Good old times. They will be missed.

Anyway, this account will still exist in case anybody wants to reread old stories, but the ones who are up and not finished won't be finished at all. I'm so sorry, this wasn't the way I planned, either.

 

Thanks to everybody who has stuck around so far. It was a great time. Thanks to the friends I made here, especially one of them (unnie, yes, I'm talking about you) who I'm talking to every day. This time will be missed so dearly. 

I wish for everyone to have a great and loved future. Goodbye!

This is the first time I read this blog post and I'm sorry to hear this. I haven't had the chance to give your previous works all the love it deserves but they give me great comfort and they're one of the things I can go back into many times no matter how much time has passed.

I understand where you're coming from though, writing first and foremost should be something that you enjoy and it's alright to step back from things when it no longer brings you happiness.

I'm having a hard time writing now as well. As we grow we change and if its not fun anymore you need to look for other outlets. I love your stories, thank you for leaving them available for your fans.

Hobbies should be fun, and if this isn't bringing you joy anymore, there are better ways to spend your time. The nice thing about writing is that you can always come back to it later if you feel differently, so don't feel bad at all for stepping away even if you never end up returning.

Thank you for the gift of all your beautiful words, but more so for your support. You were the first non-family person I told about my family illness, somehow easier to confess my struggles to a stranger on the internet who noticed a departure from my usual habits and cared enough to ask what was wrong. I will always treasure your nurturing heart and I know it will carry you to great things, whether writing or otherwise.

Even though it's sad that you won't be writing anything anymore, it's important that you are happy even if that means leaving that part behind in your life. It will always remain a happy memory and doesn't lose its value. And if you ever think of giving it a try sometime in the future all doors are open so there is nothing to worry about. I am sure many people are thankful to be still able to read your stories now and in the future. And I am really happy that I read your story in the past :) <3

While I am sad to hear that because I have very much enjoyed your stories but I completely understand and respect your decision :) I wish you all the best and thank your for sharing your stories with us!! and also ty for keeping the account up so it´s possible to reread^^
