Personality
+Positive: Creative, Optimistic, Independent, Loyal
-Negative: Moody, Daydreamer, Shy, Cautious

Park Mei Xing was born a Pisces which reflects her personality. She’s very creative, the type of person that would think of the most unique ways of solving problems. Since her mother didn’t play the role of being a mother Mei Xing learned to pretty much learn to do things and take care of herself. Even though it takes a while for her to get up in the morning and fully wake up for the day her optimism would take over and would look forward to what the new day would bring her. Though it takes time for her to open up to people she is loyal to the close people to her. She is also an emotional and sensitive person and would easily cry because of this. It was mostly when she was little when she wanted her mother's love but as she grew up she was able to hold back her tears long enough for her to escape to a place where she is alone to cry let her tears fall and calm herself down and fix herself up so people wouldn't know that she just cried.

She often drifts off into her daydreams while staring into the distance; dreaming of being the hero of her own story. She is often seen by herself either because she is daydream or because she is a shy person. She doesn't talk much and is the type of person that would wait for people to talk to her whenever she was in a new environment; like a new class, new uni, first few days of meeting new people in the courses. It kinda leads her to be cautious of new people and takes her a while to open up to people. She’s cautious of new people due to the trust issues she’s developed as a little girl stemming from her mother’s neglect. When people approach her she gets nervous and her hands shake a bit. But you probably won’t see it since it’s a bit subtle. Ever since she started university she has tried to become more approachable since she knows she can’t continue living like this. Which has helped her gain a bit of confidence in herself. She can now interact with people such as her classmates and other people at her university in an animated way, particularly when she is passionate about the subject matter. However, she’ll suddenly change, either disappearing or becoming withdrawn, usually because she’s had enough and needs to focus or recharge. By being this way she can be perceived as kinda moody to people.
Background
Park Mei Xing is the daughter of Park Chang Nam and Zhang Yan Yu. Park Chang Nam is from South Korea but was sent to Beijing to work at sister company by the original one that was based in Korea. While working there he met Zhang Yan Yu who was also working there and they both became close till one thing led to another and they both ended up married. So, a few months after they were married, they found out that they were having a daughter. They were both in South Korea visiting Park Chang Nam’s side of the family when his wife gave birth two weeks earlier than expected. That was how Park Mei Xing was born. The three of them went back to China a month after Mei Xing was born and they lived as a happy family for the first few years of Mei Xing’s childhood. But the relationship that her parents had for each other soon turned sour as Mei Xing’s mother would hardly want to spend time with her daughter. Mei Xing’s father didn’t have a lot of time to spend with his daughter due to his job but would try his hardest to spend every spare time he had with his daughter because of he didn’t want to miss his little girl grow up. When Mei Xing was 8 years old her mother sent her to this traditional music class that she received from a flyer. It was close to her school so she could just walk there after school. At this class, she learned to play the traditional Chinese string instrument called the guzheng which she loved. After her father found out that she was going to these classes her parents fought more. She heard bits and pieces of it about how her mother just sent her to these classes so that she wouldn’t have to look after her child and her father saying how his wife is wasting all her time and missing their child grow up and that if he had as much free time as his wife had he would spend it with her and their daughter as a family. But he can’t because of his job, and someone has to bring home the bacon. After fighting with his wife, he went to Mei Xing and told her that she doesn’t have to go to these after school classes but to his surprise, she told him that she wanted to continue because she enjoys it. So once in a while when she can spend time with her father, she plays what she learned at the after-school music classes. Her childhood was geeking out playing the guzheng and watching Chinese fantasy drama since she can be pulled into another world of magic, martial arts, cultivation, Emperors, Princes and Princesses. Away from the reality of her parent’s constant fight and screaming matches.

It wasn’t until 8th grade in middle school that her parents finally got a divorce and her father gained custody since her mother didn’t even fight for it. It was when her father found her mother cheating on him with two other men which was the breaking point for him. Her father organised for himself to be transferred back to the main company back in Korea which took a bit over a year to be fully successful. So he and Mei Xing went back to Korea and Mei Xing started high school in Korean. Even though she carried the guzheng instrument on her back so she could go straight to her music class back in China she still does anyway since she feels that something is missing if she doesn’t. For that her new classmates found it weird plus she was an introvert so not many people bothered her during her high school years. She could daydream about being a cultivator or saving the world like in the Chinese fantasy dramas she watched growing up.

It wasn’t until the middle of the eleventh grade that she had a dream that she was standing in the middle of a grassy field. The night sky above her was illuminated by a meteor shower. One was falling towards her and she somehow caught it. It was a bright glowing ball of energy that was hovering above her hand before it descended into her hand as her hand had absorbed it. Her hand glowed before lines of lights travelled up her arms; some using her veins to travel up her arm and spread to her other arm and the rest of her body. As it filled up her whole body it felt warm and her whole body including her hair was glowing before her ears started to hear static before it changed to a ringing sound before it got louder and louder till it got unbearable that it woke her up in the middle of the night and then went back to sleep again thinking that it was a really weird dream. The next day after class when the school was pretty much empty, she was on her way out of the school building she saw that a group of boys, some in the same year level as her some in the year below were gathered around two wild rabbits. Turns out they were harming the little creatures. She ran up to them and told them to stop but they just pushed her the of the way. She ended up screaming for them to stop which made a shock wave which made the boys put their hand over their ears and shattered the windows nearby. They were so freaked out by her that they just ran in fear. One of the two rabbits ran off but the other was still with her since one of its legs was broken. She ended up taking it home and wrapping the leg in bandages. That night after she put the injured rabbit in a cage in her room so she could keep an eye on it as it heals, she began to play a gentle song on her guzheng like she does every night it the rabbit began to scratch and rattle the cage so much that she stopped and went over to check on it. To her shock, it was healed. After this, she would experiment with this newfound healing power and concluded that she could only use this to heal light wounds on her and that it only healed the rabbit’s bone because the rabbit is tiny compared to her. She would hide her powers from everyone since life would be easier that way.

She finally graduated high school and decided that she wouldn’t head straight into university. Since she’s been studying her whole life and the discovery of her newfound powers is already a lot for her to deal with. While she gets used to her new powers and discovering new parts of it pretty much every few weeks, she still gets these dreams that are pretty much the same. In these dreams, she’s standing in the middle of a battlefield where everyone is fighting while it looks like the stars are falling from the sky. She can’t interact with anyone/anything in these dreams. If she tries to the people in her dream would just go right through her..

She started working at a clothing store, which she lasted about four months before she quits due to her manager being the biggest a*hole. It was surprising that she even lasted that long. She didn’t have a job for two months which was driving her nuts. Around mid-year, she got a job at a florist close by and there she met a guy named Yamamoto Haruki who showed her around the flower shop and teach her how to do the tasks in the store. She ended up liking her job there and the year after she met her soon to be best friend Lee Eun Ae at the Uni Open and quickly became friends. So, her life was becoming alright for now. It wasn’t until one night as she was heading home from one of those uni get-togethers that she first witnesses another person with powers before they disappeared into the night.

She is a hopeless romantic and though she has a boyfriend she has this tingly feeling that Mei would meet someone special soon.

Yamamoto Haruki :: 21 :: Employee/Senpai/Love Interest :: Gentle, Intelligent, Possessive, Patient :: Nakagawa Taishi :: Haruki moved to Seoul, Korea after graduating high school in Japan where he grew up. The reason why he moved was that he wanted to get away from his family and people who would constantly compare him to his more successful older brother. Whenever he had a crush or was close to the person he like he would try his best to hide them from his older brother since he knew that he is done for when his brother meets the person he likes. He was so done with being shadowed by his older brother so he moved to Korea and plans to stay here to live his life. He's studying chemistry at university and works at a florist part-time. During the start of the second semester of his first year, the owner of the store told him to train Mei when she first started at the florist. As he helped her get used to how everything runs in the florist he started to take notice of the way she does things. How different she does things to get the job done. After a while, the two would spend time together and got to know each other. For Mei, she started to recognise that she has a crush on Haruki but was hesitant because before that she hasn't thought about liking anyone and thought that she would most probably die alone. But for Haruki, he would fall deeper for her every time he saw her.

AlternateWave Manipulation
Description.
- She occasionally uses her voice by letting out a scream; though she prefers not to. When she screams her voice lets out a sound wave for offensive purposes. Though it reaches a large range it is not that accurate since she can only control it by the volume of her voice and where her face is pointing. She only uses this ability when she either doesn't have her guzheng on her or she needs to attack at a large range.
-She is very talented at playing the Chinese instrument called guzheng. With that and the powers within her, she can use that instrument as a weapon. By strumming different notes she manipulates the sound waves that are produced. This is more effective and accurate. She also uses it to heal light wounds. Most of the time the instrument is wrapped around a cloth and carried on her back like this.  Example 12
- Her powers are a combination of Sound ManipulationFocused Shockblast, Sonic Healing and musical combat but her main focus would be sound manipulation.
Trivia
-She loves watching cdramas and old Hongkong movies since it comforted her as she grew up
-She loves playing the guzheng since it also lets her daydream on being back in the ancient and lets her imagine herself as a cultivated hero or even just as a noble young lady.
-for some reason whenever she plays this song it boosts her powers a little bit
-She's a pretty good cook especially in Chinese cuisines
-Her pet rabbit is comforting and precious to her.

Questions
How does your character feel about their destiny? This destiny that I've been given a peek was at first overwhelming. But thinking back to when I was a kid I felt that this was probably why I felt like I could connect with the heroes in those chinses dramas and Chinese legends I grew up with.

Do they believe in fighting for the world or against it? Of course, I'll be fighting for our world. This world is not only my home but is home to many others; families, friends and even to the strangers. I am not going to let anything tear this world that we call home apart.

What price would they be willing to pay to achieve their goals? I don't have any particular goals as of right now. If I have some later in life I will give it my all. But if it ends up being one that concerns the protection of humanity then you bet your that I would give my life to save the masses.
Final Thoughts.
Would you be okay with your character dying during the course of the story? I don't really mind. If it happens then it happens. So don't hold back with Mei.

I don't know how intense/epic you gonna make the fight scenes but here's a battle soundtrack playlist I put together a while back and think it might suit your story.

In one of the heated battles between the one or two Star of Earth character/s and a strong Star of Heaven character. Help swooped in from what seemed like Lan Wangji (from Mo Dao Zu Shi); but that’s impossible, he’s from a fictional novel they thought to themselves. But upon a closer look, it turned out that it’s Mei cosplaying as Lan Wangji from a nearby anime convention.
