— she likes to wear red and black and look slightly intimidating. never wear accessories. she enjoys a light makeup and has often smokey eyeshadow just because she does not bother removing it before sleeping. she just wipes whatever is underneath her eyes so she doesn't look like she has dark circles.

— She can often be found hair tousled by the wind but still with the signature braids. She has modified the uniform blouse to make it sleeveless like a tank top and will often wear the uniform jacket on top, ed. She traded the skirt for a  pair of short red pants and high boots. persoNality. valha is a sarcastic, closed off, lazy person. of at least that's what people see now. those who knew her before tthree years ago can attest that she was once bright and happy. she would smile all the time and althought she still had an attitude, would be a generally lovely person to be around.

everything changed after her sister died. the joy and hope valha had in her heart were frozen. it was like the innocence of youth was pushed back inside. never to ressurface again. valha's most known characteristic is that she is angry. she has a fiery passion in her heart and that is the only thing that keep her going, like fuel burning to move her forward. without her anger, she feels like she will collapse. without the anger, she feels it will be unfair that everything will keep moving as normal. She believes that someone needs to be rightfully angry because an event like the death of her sister should not go without consequences. she is willing to sacrifice her happiness and calm not to forget, not to let the world forget either.

valha is a funny person. her humor is mostly sarcasm but she is very intellingent and find quips and retorts easily. It is never against someone, but often against a situation, which means nobody takes it personal but people are still taken aback at her bite. everything she does in life is to allow herself to have an easier time in the future. she lazes around and works sometimes to be able to laze around later. the truth is she is lost and usure of who she wants to be. her ancestors were great knights but she doesn't know if she herself has what it takes. She is just getting swept by the day to day life, managing an okay existence.

valha is creative and often sees the possibilities in places and people rather than the facts. she can be extremely single-minded and focused and will often optimize her environement so she can have more time to laze around later.

her favorite place to be is around animals because animals are uncomplicated and once they have what they need, they do not reach for further. she finds it interesting and so unlike humans that always want more stature, money or power. animals are peaceful and she even allows herself to smile and let go of her anger.

background. valha is the fourth born child out of seven of a farmer named ulric reinmere. the reinmere farm is situated in the silva estate, which they are neighbor of and vassals of from long ago when valha's ancestors were kinghts. when valha was five, her mother died leaving her father the sole custody of seven children. as she grew up, valha was closest to her sister idalie. the two of them, were friends with benjamin silva, the son of house silva. As they grew up, idalie and benjamin got engaged and as an engagement present, it was decided that idalie would join her fiancé in grecina academy, sponsored by lord hector silva. There was a big celebration but things went terribly wrong. the room idalie was staying in for the duration of the party was part of a wing that caught fire. It is unknown how the incident happened, but rumors say there was a small uprising when other vassals that were still serving lord silva were angry that the reinmere could rise in status like this over them. idalie was caught in the flames and benjamin immediately ran into her room to try and help her. they both died that night. valha remembers being unable to sleep that night and gazing at the silva mansion only to see a column of dark smokes and knowing by the pit in her stomach, that something horrible had happened.

that is when valha's story shifted dramatically. she was angry and became unable to let go of the anger. a few months after the incident, lord hector silva, offered idalie and benjamin's spots in grecina academy to the reinmere family and valha jumped on the occasion as well as her sister namira. valha was disgusted by how little everybody else seemed to care and how the world kept going without her beloved best friends by her side. she became serious and closed of, but still had that terrifying anger building up inside.

and now, two years after she started becoming a student and three years and a half after the death of her beloved sister, valha is lost. she is unsure of what she wants to become. unsure of what is her place in the world.

— valha's dream of becoming a knight dates back from her childhood where benjamin and her would play knight and her sister idalie would pretend to be a lady. now, it feels wrong to want to pursue this path and she is thinking of doing other things.

— valha's favorite summons are am owl, fox and tiger. she finds it funny to battle her classmates with the symbol for their class.

— she is technically a lance user, although she does not care much about her weapon aside from the summoning

— she willl use her summons as cushions for her naps.you can sometimes find her in a clearing in the wood with her horse or pegasus, cuddled into a tiger, napping.

— animal summons have a slightly masgical and siritual feel to them and can absolutely not be confused with real animal. they have a physical body, but they have glowing markings and like magical dust coming out of them, like a short trail

— teachers often reproach that she doesn't use her full potential.

her father may have raised her, but valha does not feel any proximity to him. in fact, valha would argue that she raised herself alongside idalie and maybe saralynn.

valha barely knew her mother. she died when valha was very young. she barely has any memory of her or time they spent together, but everyone else has told her stories of her.

everybody loves andrick. he is known throughout the village and appreciated a lot. he smiles dashing smiles and all the girls automatically flock to him. he is a good merchant because of how easily he can sell to people. valha doesn't like him because of these characteristic. she hates that he has weak ties to everyone rather than strong ties to some. he is almost a stranger to valha. but she does remember being closer to him when they were younger.

saralynn is so smart and beautiful she managed to become a debutante. at her age, most ladies her age have a fiancé, but not her. not because she can't. she has so many suitors that her wittiness and serylda's help has kept interesterd. she is taking her time to choose someone she likes and would have been valha's first guess as to who will escape the farmer life first, before idalie's engagement. saralynn was a bit jealous of idalie. valha considers ssralynn a role model when it comes to witty humor.

— second older sister : idalie reinmere (=18) / former grecina's student / kind, accepting, curious, naive, dreamer / 9

idalie was the sibling that was closest to valha. with less than a year of difference in age, they were the one the other found most easy to relate to. when she died, valha was so angry. out of the stages of grief, she was never able to let go of her anger. they used to be so close with benjamin, all three were inseparable. they would play all the time together, collecting frogs, putting up kiosk to sell things in the village together, it never mattered that benjamin was a higher ranking then both idalie and valha. to valha, idalie's death isa blasphemous. someone this positive and happy should not have died this early, this way.

while valh chose to go to grecina to escape her life, namira genuinely wants to learn. she has great grades, she is loved by teachers and students alike. valha admires that about her.

lucina's twin and the twins are very similar. valha thinks it's slightly scary.

marten's twin. Their birth was complex and caused the death of valha's mother. with 5 years difference, most of her life, valha believed the twins were too young to be fun to hang out with.

valha loves serylda. she is saralynn's mentor and has taught her the ropes of high society. she was going to do that same for idalie, but the tragedy occured. serylda was always very keen into letting her children do what they want, but also letting them face the consequence of their actions.

truth be told, valha has never interacted with amery, not even once. She does not know what his personality is like at all but evander says his brother is the perfect heir and has a kingly side while still being approachable.

he was valha's best friend. he was fun to be around and he was the one who wanted to becomea knight. he made it look so interesting valha's dream became similar.she loved him so much, like he was already family.

— since i were young, i always thought being a knight would be interesting. i would go on missions and protect the ones that are precious to me.

mhm. mhm. how would learning these skills help you and your goals?

— well, i honestly don't even know that i have a goal. they help me have an easier life, that's for sure. i love animals. i guess i could be a pegasus knight? that seems fun.

i see. so would you say you're loyal to your nation, or is there something more important to you than 'loyalty'?

— i am loyal to my memory.

PeRSONaLITY.

— a rather serious individual, evander always had the second son's dilema of what he should be if not the heir. as such, he  decided to be the best advisor to his older brother as he could. the silva's family is originally from seteris and as such has inheritted a slight ability in ice magic and loyalty to the seteris kingdom that is only second to the loyalty to the pysulia alliance and his family.

— evander, while not inherently funny, appreciates humor a lot. he is an individual with a cold exterior. while most people tend to see him as serious and unapproachable, he is in fact quite friendly and easy to talk to once he has opened up to someone. he has a snobby side leftover from his childhood and values information over many other things. 

— as a fox student, evander has surprisingly picked up some stealth and is rather quiet. he has a tendency to sneak up on valha when she does not expect it and is busy with something else. he is also rather neat and poised and most of the time pristine clean with nice looking clothes.

love story. 

— evander was always the kid who was too uptight to play with his borther and the girls. while benjamin was always valha's childhood friend, benjamin was just the brother of her childhood that she found snobby. they didn't interact much back then. even when benjamin and idalie were getting ready to be married and were both accepted in grecina's, valha and evander barely talked, just stayed polite. but when they died, evander was as upset as valha and they both acknowledged the other's pain. when valha was sent to grecina instead of her sister, evander was tasked with keeping an eye on her. as such, he makes an effort to interact with her more. he has since let go of the grief and is trying to help her move on as well.

— their interactions are mostly evander doing his best to raise valha's spirit and valha barely acknowledging it. she is still happy he is paying attention to her and they have a slight banter going on most of the time. he has learnt to appreciate her personality and the way she sees the world. he really wants her to be able to heal and is hoping their daily interactions will get her used to him.
