So I went to the emergency room

I had slipped the night before and thought I sprained my ankle... After visiting a doctor today and got sent to the emergency room for an x-ray, turns out, I have a broken bone in my ankle. I will have to wear my foot in a cast for 6 weeks and have injections daily to prevent blood clots, as well as going back in weekly for check ups.

  I officially hate my life.

Speaking from experience, take the time and let it heal, seriously. A broken bone in your ankle sounds way worse and serious. I broke a bone in my toe which took over a year to heal because 1) my cast was removed too early and 2) I resumed my activities without taking the time to let my foot get used to it and ended up with a stress fracture on my whole foot and developed osteoarthritis in my ankle - which I'm still suffering from time to time. It had a big impact on me and caused me to stress a lot. My intention is not to scare you or anything. I can relate to it and want to share my experience (even though it was not asked for, lol) I can understand why you hate your life because of that incident, because I hated mine too. It ruined many opportunities for me. Anyway, I wish you a full and speedy recovery!!!

At least you didn't require surgery. Have a speedy recovery, though. Think of all the writing you can get done! Get the best of it. <3
