It's hard for people to befriend her because of her personality. She is the type to help people in secret rather than showing it. When she's comfortable with people, she tends to use sarcasm a lot and will show one of her rare smiles every now and then. Although she looks like she knows what to do with life, she is actually a very indecisive person. She's afraid of choosing the wrong decision. When is face with a situation that involves verbal or physical affection, she flusters easily but quickly change to her pokerface.

Background+ Why are you so quiet?
Haru she would say had a very comfortable childhood. However, she can be pretty unlucky with the friendship department. It's as if she had a curse put on her to never have friends. Most of her so called 'close friends' ended up just leaving her without her knowing what was the reason. Haru, once upon a time is the kind of person who would always check up on her friends. For example, she would call them often, text them often and always initiate their outings. She always look out for them because she is a person who is always giving and selfless. So it had baffled her so much when all of her friends one by one left her. The thing that hurted her is that they did not fought at all, they just suddenly drift apart one by one from her. Soon enough she found out the reason they left her is only because she was too clingy. Her friends find her 'caring' behaviour too much so they left her alone without a word. She did try making more friends and try to 'tone down' her caringness but alas the result still is the same with her being left again. She then made a decision to just stop making friends so that she won't get hurt anymore. It does however hurt when she sees her 'old' friends are laughing and having fun while she's feeling miserable. Haru is the kind of person who needs to depend on someone so it was hard for her to be independent in school. Haru gets more and more quiet and not herself and this concerned her parents. Her parents who knows what's going on with Haru decided that Haru should get a fresh new start with her life. Haru's parents are not particularly rich but they do have enough to send Haru somewhere. They decided to send Haru to a prestigious school in Byeonggwak because they thought that Haru needs good education anyways and try to make her independent so that she would not have to depend on anyone anymore. Also, Haru is a decent student, she does not do too bad or too well with her grades. However, she does always try her best in everything.
+ How are you finding Byeonggwak/Geumbaekwon?
Haru after finding out she would be moving to Byeonggwak on her own had find it difficult to comprehend because all her life she had been depending on people. However, she knew her parents are doing this for her own good so she just went through it. Surprisingly, leaving Busan was not a bad idea. It was not as scary as she thought. In fact being alone just make things easier for her, as she does not need to think of other people. Also by just being alone she felt that she can prevent herself from getting hurt again. When Haru first time step into Geumbaekwon, she had been pretty nervous. She had started thinking if she had made the wrong decision. She kept pacing in front of the school gate as she starts thinking again and again. How she could just go back to her own school and forget all about this fresh start. However, her determination kept her at bay and she just went through the gate. She had no intention to befriend anyone so she didn't speak to anyone. From there people start up rumours on the new student who only kept it to herself. Haru doesn't mind though because she literally do not know anyone to feel offended plus it's her first day at school anyways.
+ I thought you don't want friends?
It was during recess time of the first day of school that she came across Byunghyun. Her about to be bestfriend. Haru was about to exit the class when she heard;
"The first person I see would be my bestfriend. You'll see!" said the guy as he walks away from who she assume is a friend. Without glancing back to the front the guy accidentally bumped into Haru and both of them fall on their asses. She could hear some whisperings from her classmates inside the class witnessing the situation. She sighed and was about to leave when the guy grabbed her hand.
"HI ! I'm Byunghyun! You're officially my bestfriend !" he said with a grin.
You can best assume that Haru has no say in this and after a week of persuasion from Byunghyun they become friends. Haru even after being friends with Byunghyun is still careful of not letting her old habit slid out. Byunghyun after being friends with Haru knows that Haru despite her cold persona, she's actually a really good friend.
+ Fear of babies/kids
When Haru was 12 years old, Haru's aunt had handed Haru her baby for her to hold while her aunt had to pick up an important call. As she was holding the baby, the baby started to squirmed around her hold. Haru tried her best to keep the baby in place but then the baby suddenly let out a shrill cry and that had surprised Haru. That lead to Haru accidentally letting go of the baby. The cry stopped and Haru fumbled over the baby to check if she had killed it but Haru forgot one thing about the situation. At that time she was standing on a very fluffy mattress meant for the baby. So to her relief, the baby wasn't dead. However, the situation did traumatized Haru a bit. From that moment Haru thought that baby and kids are just really fragile and she should not messed with them.
Life in general+ How's school?
Haru is just your normal school girl who always tries her best in school. You could say that she does fairly good in school, not too good not too bad. She is good in sports tho, her best sport would definitely be running. Haru does best when she studies on her own, she feels that the presence of others would distract her. However, she is getting used to study groups with Byunghyun as he kept pestering her to study together. She's a bit of an outcast because of her reputation and the ridiculous rumours being spread around but it doesn't really bother her. She usually hangs out with Byunghyun during recess on the rooftop. Haru always keep it low with her presence, she does not like being the centre of attention so she tried her best to not get herself into trouble. Other people however thinks that Haru is a troublemaker so they keep their distance away. In this case Haru thinks it's a win win situation for her, they don't bother her so she does not have to deal with being the centre of attention.
+ What goes on in your day?
Haru is a very early riser so she usually makes herself breakfast every morning (usually eggs and toasts) and enjoy music while she took her time for eating before going to school. After school, she would hang out with Byunghyun at a PC cafe. They would usually spend a good two hours there before deciding where they would go next. Sometimes Byunghyun would straight away go home but sometimes Byunghyun would join Haru for dinner. If it was on the weekend, she spends her mornings with watching tv and then she goes on doing her daily chores (cleaning the house, buying groceries, taking a shower lol and etc). There are times during the weekend when she and Byunghyun would do a cover dance together and uploading it on Youtube (of course no one in her school found out about it and she always wears a mask during the videos). Also they are times when they do study groups at Haru's house (with Byunghyun's persuasion). Haru of course most of the times would prefer to just spend time on her own in her own space but it doesnt mean she doesnt appreciate Byunghyun's company.
+ Do you have a dream?
Haru being Haru is an indecisive person. She could never really figure out what she wanted to do in life. She had undergone many ambition changes. She had gone from wanting to be a teacher to a writer to an office worker to a doctor to a a lawyer and her current dream job is to be a dancer. She feels very lost often times and could not even picture what her future might be. Although she doesn't know what to do with her life now, she does dream of residing in Japan, hoping to have a career there someday.

Byunghyun met Haru on the first day of school and had managed to befriend her after a lot of persuasion. Since then, they become best friends. Although Haru ignore Byunghyun's existence at times, that doesn't make Byunghyun less interested to bother her. Byunghyun is not in the same class as Haru so they often meet up during recess and after school time.

Haru has a normal student-teacher relationship with her. In fact, she thinks Mrs Jung is a great teache. That changed when they had to do the baby project though. She doesn't hate Mrs Jung for it, she's just simply scared of kids and babies in general. Mrs Jung thought that Haru dislike her because she kept glaring at her when they bumped into each other. However, it's just Haru's normal face and Mrs Jung misunderstood it.

Haru and Minjae are only your average classmates until they get paired for the baby project that is. Minjae is a sweetheart that everyone loves. He's kind and always helpful towards others. Minjae learns from his friends that Haru is a red flag so he had never try speaking to Haru. When he found out that he's pairing with the ice prince, he naturally thought that he is as good as dead. He starts thinking how he would need to take care of the baby alone because he is positive that Haru would ditched the project to go out with her boyfriend, Byunghyun (WELL YOU ARE WRONG). Despite that, he knows not to show what he feels towards Haru and tries to treat her normally (BECAUSE MINJAE IS KIND LIKE THAT).However, Haru is not who he thought she was. As Minjae gets to know Haru a little bit more, Haru turns out to be just an awkward girl with a warm heart. Haru's determination to take care of the baby despite her fear, had Minjae slowly falling for her. He also finds himself teasing Haru more when he found out how easily flustered she can get. In the process of taking care of the baby, Minjae found out why Haru is scared of babies. Minjae would then always help out when Haru needs help with the baby. Haru starts to shed her ice prince persona whenever she's around Minjae. Haru felt that Minjae is the first person beside Byunghyun, to ever be normal with her instead of feeling scared. She felt a friendly liking towards Minjae and it will develop to love (uwu).

When Haru was first handed the baby, she inwardly freaked out and quickly just handed it to Minjae. Minjae, also inexperienced with babies however had decided that he will be the best single dad ever because at this time he thought that Haru's quick rejection of the baby is a sign that she would not commit to this project. As time past by, Haru gradually took initiative to take care of the baby. Despite her fear of kids, she slowly tried her best to accomplished this assignment because she is definitely not a quitter.
