Humor is so hard

Hello, 

I read several stories and i am appreciating how the writers make humor, romance comedy as their genre. While i think that it was hard for me, really, i don't know why, i am enjoying humors and could be laughing out loud so easily, but i couldn't make it, ah...i wonder why, 

could you tell me some trick? Or another way? Hehe, thank you so much...

I really want to write humor sometimes, my mind is full angst, sadness and complicated plots..hehe

1. Unexpected Twists Turns and Overly Stupid things

Ex. Literally Spongebob

2. Repetition of a Stupid Idea

3. Over the top exaggeration

Ex. Literally Spongebob

4. Irony or Juxtaposition - pitting two opposing ideas against one another

Ex. A secret government base hidden in a build a bear shop
Ex. Character who goes through a long arduous journey to find that his glasses were on his head the whole time

yoseob is ur main character right?? he's known for being sarcastic so maybe you can take some of it and put it in ur story. maybe you can take a look at this thread in twitter https://twitter.com/yysmp3/status/882607307149852677?s=19

I think using sarcasm is a good way to make humor! What I usually do is think of the real life situations that made me laugh and try to write them into my stories. The simple things--characters falling over, characters making jokes at the expenses of others, characters freaking out in stressful situations--can make a reader laugh more easily than you think. Hope that helped :-)

I think you could start with a sarcastic character and then pave your way from there.
