a song I wrote about hallucinations

Dreaming dreamily and I feel
Like I can't tell what's fake
And what's real
The floor is spinning
My vision is blurry
The other me in the mirror is grinning
Why are the shadow people in such a hurry?
Everybody's out to get me baby
Can't have a moment to myself
Demons have breached my privacy

I can't fight these hallucinations
Each of them comes with a different declaration
They call my name and then mutter nothing
My love I think everybody's up to something
Ha-ha-ha-ha-hallucinations, ha-ha-ha-hallucinations

My world is becoming deformed
My poetry has become far too freeform
But I feel trapped, unlike my words
Darling I can't feel my feet, stumbling on air
Tell me are you here or are you there?
Talk me through my tied tongue
Everybody rubs me off so wrong
My head hurts from all the comfort
I can't seem to get at all

Nothing is here, is it?
Nothing is fear, isn't it?

I can't fight these hallucinations
Each of them comes with a different declaration
They call my name and then mutter nothing
My love I think everybody's up to something
Ha-ha-ha-ha-hallucinations, ha-ha-ha-hallucinations

Struggling with paranoia
I'm too high up, I have acrophobia
My reality is shaken
I don't really understand
Anything
That is
Happening to me

Why is my psychiatrist so mean?

I can't fight these hallucinations
Each of them comes with a different declaration
They call my name and then mutter nothing
My love I think everybody's up to something
Ha-ha-ha-ha-hallucinations, ha-ha-ha-hallucinations
