Personality Hyojeo is entertaining to be around because he always has a witty comeback and makes people laugh. He is often taken aback by people laughing because he wasn't trying to be funny, he is just mean and people think he is joking. He doesn't mind though. While it is nice to have people around he doesn't need them and sometimes prefers to be on his own. He has had to deal with a lot, more than some go through their entire lives, so he is very good at keeping his emotions in check and keeping people from knowing how he really is feeling. He isn't a dark, brooding person though. He is the type who wants to try everything once. How will you know if you enjoy human flesh if you've never tried it? He likes saying that just to see peoples reaction. Note, Hyojeo would never try cannibalism, he just likes to pick fun of people. 
Hyojeo gets angry fast. He has flare up where he gets so angry so fast it is almost like whiplash if you aren't prepared for it. He often gets over his anger quickly as well but he can hold on to it to give him fuel for the fire. He also is the kind who could convince your grandmother that he is their grandson and not you. He likes to say that it is because he is a part witch and has a natural charm but who really knows. He most often doesn't let anyone know his real motives, he doesn't trust people enough for that. One of his worst flaws is his ego. He is not afraid to lord it over people that he is half witch and will use it against you whenever he can

Background Hyojeo had a kind terrible childhood. He was raised by a small pack of vampire hunters in the mountains. There were three other kids in his generation and he hated two of them, would and tried to kill two of them and they tried to kill him too. 
There are a lot of rules and regulations with hunters and they have to pass thousands of tests as they age and these tests have kills hundreds over the years. Each of Hyojeo's generation have almost died from said test. 
Hyojeo was found when he was two wandering in the woods outside the hunters compound. His neon pink hair and steel grey eyes were what caught their attention, they could tell right away that he was a witch. They decided to take him in and to train him up as a hunter. 
Most of the hunters hated him. They didn't want a witch around, they killed witches some times. Most of those who opposed him being there were very vocal about it but those who wanted him there thought it would be useful to have a witch with them. They fought over it for a long time but he ended up staying with the leaders. 
Hyojeo had more pressure on him than any other child. If he messed up or was less than the best he would be forcibly removed or killed. He suffered plenty of beatings from the other kids and from the leaders. 
Over the years, as he started learning how to use his witch abilities, he started pulling ahead of the others and became the best trainee at the compound. 
Two of the other trainees agreed that they didn't like a half witch taking over and they decided to kill him. They came into his house in the night and tied him to his bed. They started beating him with bats but when they didn't hear anything they paused. They heard a giggle above them and looked up to see Hyojeo perched on a rafter beam above them. He waved before jumping down and attacking them. The two of them ended up at the medic for almost a month but they didn't try to come after him again. 
After that people were wary around him. He wasnt arrogant about anything but he was not afraid to hurt another hunter if they crossed him. 
Before a trainee can become a hunter they have to pass a test, bigger than any they had done in the past. Usually, trainees don't have to go until they are nineteen but everyone decided to send Hyojeo out sooner. 
There was one trainee who had just left for her final test and she was called back so that Hyojeo could go with her. The two of them were sent down to Busan, the city where trainees most often failed their final test and the hunters hoped to be rid of Hyojeo. Unfortunately for them though they weren't. 
Hyojeo and Seunsong had a great time hunting down the vampires they were after and decided to take a few extra days to just spend in Busan. The hunters deemed their final test too simple so they were sent on another, then another and another. 
Six months ago the hunters sent Hejeo and Seunsong on a mission Haecheon. This was just a reconnaissance mission. Find out about the local vampire coven and come back, that was it. Things escalated though and soon the two of them were cornered by a group of vampires. Hyojeo could have easily gotten out and away but Seunsong not. He stayed to try to help fight them off but there was no chance. She told him to leave, she was the superior in the situation so she ordered him and he had to listen. He got away but he could hear her screaming but it was much worse when the screaming stopped. 
Hyojeo went back and demanded assistance in avenging her death. The hunters took this opportunity though, they blamed him for her death and were planning on executing him. They did their best to capture him but he easily got away from them. He was able to sneak back in and steal his things and a good amount of valuables to sell for cash, he then headed back for Haecheon. 
He was able to sell everything, get a small rooftop apartment and start his hunt for the vampires. Unfortunately, though the clan was more established than he was expecting. He was still going to find a way in to start killing them one by one. 
He was able to find out that the younger ones in the clan were enrolled at Baekjae high and he could easily pass as still being in high school so he enrolled himself.

Background: Seunsong was a rather good trainee growing up, she was never the best but never even close to the worst. Her parents were satisfied with her progress and didn't expect more from her. 
When it came time for Seunsong to do her final test things were rough from the start. Her partner was killed before they even left the mountains. Their car slid off the road because he was trying to show off to her. He was eviscerated but she walked away unscathed.
She was called back and was given a new partner, the young half witch everyone never stopped talking about. She didn't mind him, liked that he was different. She just wanted to get the test done and over with so she could become an official hunter. 
When she was told she was going on a new test she was confused but her parents caught her just before she left, telling her that the hunters wanted the half witch to die on the test. Seunsong was pissed about that but promised herself that he was going to come back. 
When they both came back she could tell the others were upset but she was visibly smug. However, that smugness left when she was sent out on another test. Soon, when they were sent on a test they would spend extra time messing around and taking mini vacations before heading back. 
The last test they went on was supposed to be easy. The hunters had stopped trying to find ways to get Hyojeo killed. They were just supposed to find out about a coven of vampires in Haecheon and go home. Everything went to and the two of them ended up running and getting cornered. It was difficult to see how many were there but the vamps outnumbered them 3 to 1, easy. 
Seunsong knew Hyojeo could have left her but he wouldn't. She was secretly grateful but once the fighting started and she could tell they were going to lose she ordered him to leave. It was painful and she knew she would die but she could spare him. He did finally leave her and she fought as much as she could but once she was down there was no way to get back up.

First Meeting Seonsong was unbothered that her first partner died but she didn't really want to be two for two. When she met the pink haired witch she decided to call him that for a while. He seemed shy at first but quickly opened up to her and she truly did love being around him. 

Love Story After their first kill in Busan they went back to the hotel and celebrated. Three bottles of soju each later and things heated up between them. The next day when they woke up they just looked at each other before she broke the silence saying that was fun and they should do it again. He replied with why not now. After that their relationship was very, very physical. 
As they started getting more comfortable around each other their hunting style changed too. Seunsong started watching Hyojeo's back more and more, almost like she was more worried about him than herself and she got hurt because of it a few times. He would berate her but spend time taking care of her. 

Ending When Seonsong died a part of Hyojeo died. He knew about soulmates and knew she wasn't his but she was the love of his life. There was n way he could love someone the same as he loved her.

Background: The Seong family belonged to a small coven of vampires. For as long as the coven has existed the Seong's have been serving them, both in the house and as a source of blood. Every generation a member of the Seong family was chosen to be turned as a way to keep the rest of the family invested so they would stay. 
Nami's older sister was going to be the one to be turned. She was trained in vampire ways her entire life, they were just waiting until she was of age. There was another vampire who had different plans though. 
He always had a thing for young girls, even in life, being changed made things no different. He liked being around Nami and liked feeding on her especially. She hated being around him because more than once he would touch her inappropriately and scare her. She told her parents and they tried to talk to the leader of the coven but he said there was no proof beyond the words of a child so nothing was done. 
Four months ago the vampire took things too far. He was feeding on Nami and started getting rough with her. He knew he would get away with anything he did so he did as he pleased with her. She did her best to fight back but she was too small to do anything and he was a vampire. He liked when she would fight back too. That night things spiraled out of control and he fed on her far too much. He ignored her cries and only stopped when they stopped. Once he realized what he did and the opportunity he had he chose to change her. So what if she wasn't the one picked to change, she was just as good as any other. 
When Nami woke up and everyone found out what happened her family was enraged. Her older sister was so angry with her that she stopped speaking with her completely. The coven talked about what to do but the vampire knew nothing would be done to him and that he would have his own plaything now. 
Nami had to continue about her life though, she still went to school and had to pretend she was fine.

No one knows it but over the past 60 years, Kookbin has been kidnapping, and murdering young girls and leaving their bodies, drained of blood, across South Korea. His coven didn't want him anymore so they sent him to the coven in Haecheon and washed their hands of him. When he got to his new coven they told him to keep in check but he didn't. When he saw Nami, 13 at that time, he started getting ideas. He could tell that she was a woman by then and that excited him even more. 
Now that he is Nami's sire he has started taking more liberties with her. She has tried to talk to the council but every time she goes to them they send her away, telling her to deal with her girl problems her self. 

First Meeting Over the years Hyojeo has learned a few spells that he is rather good at. One of these, his favorite, he likes to call 'Insanity'. It makes the person the spell is directed at start to go insane. They see hallucinations of their worst fears and leaves them vulnerable to any attacks. He used it often on the other trainees when they would bother him enough but he would never let it go too far. 
Hyojeo found one of the young vampires. She was two grades below her and he would find a way to kill her. He followed her, learned her schedule and found the best time to do it. Her cleaning partner often left her to do everything so she would be alone for almost an hour after school. He went into her classroom one of those nights and cast the spell. 
Nami started screaming for someone to leave her alone. She saw her sire coming towards her and she knew what was going to happen. Her cries caused him to pause, even with all the anger he had seeing a young girl crying for a man to leave her alone made it feel wrong. He pushed that aside and reached out for her with his blade in his other hand. 
When he grabbed a hold of her he was all but thrown across the room and the spell was broken. He flew to his feet, snarling and looking for her weapon but she was just curled up on the floor, crying. Hyojeo didn't know how to react so he just stood there until she stopped crying and stood herself. 
Nami asked the boy if he was going to kill her, half hoping he would just to end everything at home with her sire. He shook his head, saying he didn't think he could. He looked at her one last time before leaving the room. 

Love Story Hyojeo was distracted for the next few days. He understood what happened between him and the vampire but he was refusing to accept it. There was no way he was the soulmate of a vampire, it just was not possible and there had to be a mistake. 
When she showed up at his classroom one afternoon though he knew there was no mistake. He hadn't realized he was so anxious until she was there and he was disgusted at himself for it. She was a vampire but he was relieved to see her. What was wrong with him. He shoved past her with a snarled insult and hoped she would leave him alone. She didn't follow but one of his classmates stopped him. His reaction was to automatically shove the student and have his blade out against the boy's throat. 
Nami screamed when she saw the hunter pushing her brother against the wall with his knife. She tried to convince him to put it down and her brother kept yelling at the hunter, trying to rile him up. The hunter just kept looking from Nami to Jintaek and back. He eventually lowered the weapon and shook his head towards Nami. Jintaek hurried to his sister's side and pulled her away. 
A few days later Jintaek shoved Hyojeo and demanded to know why his sister was so scared of him. Hyojeo threatened to show him and the two of them ended up fighting. Jintaek got a couple hits in but it was mainly one sided but they both ended up sitting on the ground, out of breath and glaring at the other. Hyojeo snapped that he didn't mean nor want to be bonded to a vampire but there was nothing he could do about that now. Jintaek stared at him, mouth agape.

Ending Hyojeo and Jintaek started becoming friends after that. It was strange but they did. It was Jintaek that was able to coax Nami into talking to Hyojeo but once she started talking everything started spilling out about everything. When she told Hyojeo about her sire he felt the need to protect her, even more so than Jintaek. He picked her up from where she was balled on the floor and just held her. He didn't think about her being a vampire, he just thought that there was this girl he cared about so much and she was scared and in pain. He knew right then that he was going to kill her sire, then deal with how he was going to avenge Seunsong without hurting Nami as well.
