[CLOSED] Fund Raising Project for D&E Concert in Kuala Lumpur
As you might know (or not), our Eunhae are coming to Malaysia VERY soon on the 4th of May for their D&E concert. When I first heard the news, I was excited beyond words, but I was also planning on skipping it because of the date. Words cannot begin to describe how busy I will be leading up to that day. I have my Master’s thesis to write, and it is also very close to the due dates of several of my assignments. Plus, I am also self-funding my Master’s degree (not on scholarship) so all the money I’m earning from my part time jobs are going to food, hostel fees and other bills.
However, just today I received the bad news that ticket sales were not going well. Some ELFs called the ticketing office and allegedly, less than 50% of tickets have been sold (ticket sales opened on 13/5). This is including some heads who went to buy all the good tickets and are now trying to resell them through FB. I am super worried that there are going to be a lot of empty seats during the concert, or worse, the concert would have to be cancelled due to lack of ticket sales.
I really don’t want Eunhae to be disappointed when they come. If they come.
Thus, I have made the decision that I will be going to the concert despite all the problems with time and money I have listed above. But I need help. I’m not above begging at this point. I hope to raise about USD150 to cover my own ticket and transportation fees and to donate the extra to an ELF who is collecting donations to fund other ELFs who cannot afford the tickets. The following are the concert ticket fees:
Rockzone RM692 (USD167), VIP RM592 (USD143), CAT1 RM492 (USD119), CAT2 RM392 (USD95), CAT3 RM242 (USD58)
I don’t have any specific location that I want to be, because my aim is not to get the best seat possible. I am going there to let them see me, to show them that there’s (at least) another person that supports them. Where I sit on that day depends on whichever area is still free by the time I get enough money to buy the tix. (But to tell the truth, all the areas still have empty seats at this point.)
I thought to myself for a few hours about how I could raise funds. And then I remembered that I can write fics (not the best, but it is one of the only things I can do that is of value). Thus, I will be accepting commissioned Eunhae fanfic work from the period of 17th April to 29th April. Here’s how it works:
- USD 2 /RM8 ( for 1,000-2,500 word ficlet/oneshot)
- USD 5 /RM20 ( for 5,000-10,000 word oneshot fic)
- USD 10 /RM40 ( for 15,000 and above oneshot fic)
I will be accepting prompts from you. You can give a simple prompt (ie. Arranged marriage) or you can request for a specific storyline. I will try to fulfil the prompts to the best of my ability. You can also choose not to give me a prompt (although I suggest you do because that’s more fun).
Prompts I will not accept: S&M, Eunhae character death, sad ending, extensive ual scenes with someone else, Eunhae being involved in violent crimes for no good reason, genderswitch, Eunhae being violent to/betraying each other
*I will accept both Haehyuk and Hyukhae, and/or switching, but it's been about five years since I wrote Hyukhae so I don't know how good I will perform.
Extra info:
- You will get your name credited in the work produced (unless you want to remain anonymous).
- You will receive a PDF version of the work.
- Commissioned work fulfilment period – from June 2019 to December 2019 (because I have to wait until after my final exams to focus on writing)

Lastly, if you are from Malaysia, Singapore, or other SEA countries, please do consider attending the concert. I still remember our slogan from 2009 Dream Concert days…
We go not to see them, but to let them see us.
P/s: If you are going to the concert and will be travelling from Johor on 4th May, I am also looking for concert buddies to go together, so we can share transport costs and be safer together.
