APPEARANCE : 

— Hui Yin is 167cm tall and weighs about 57kg. She looks pretty much like her face claim with fair pale skin, and large eyes. However the type of aura that she gives off is of a warrior princess.

FASHION STYLE :

— Seeing that she has adapted to this Earth her style is simple , casual and comfy. one of her outfits is simply dark colour jeans with a plain shirt, a pair of sneakers and either a leather or bomber jacket. But when it comes to major battles (like the end battles in the Avengers movies), just like how Loki materialises into his Asgardian armour. Her clothes also materialises into something more comfortable for her to fight in. However she also has to wear more  tradition formal dresses that are more fit for a princess to wear around the palace which she prefers not to wear if she had the choice.

Hui Yin is the type of person that is quick witted and not only thinks on her feet but uses her surroundings to her advantage. She is a very loyal person and really cares for the friends that she makes. As a Princess her duty is to the people of her kingdom and would do everything to protect her people. This was a lesson she learnt at a very young age and really values this lesson. With her kind and helpful nature, she tries her best to help her friends and people and that is what she is really admired for by the people of her kingdom. She is optimistic about what each new day brings and faces it head on. 

But on the flip side she is a blunt person that voices her opinions whether it’s small view points or bold statement. Which sometimes gets her in trouble. She’s also a stubborn person especially when she sets herself to do something, there is no changing her mind. Some may say that she is impatient because she wants to get things done and over with as soon as possible. She is also the type of person that doesn’t wait for other people to do things for her, she does them herself. Even though she is an impatient person she is also cautious due to her living in the palace and watching others constantly scheme to screw over people; it’s pretty obvious why she is.

BACKGROUND :
Before Everything Happened:Zhao Hui Yin is a Princess of the Purple Lotus Kingdom and this kingdom is located in another dimension/universe to the MCU. She is the daughter of the current Emperor of the kingdom and is the only princess in the current royal family. Her mother is the Third Imperial Consort and she is also the mother of the Third Prince, Zhao Liu Wei making him Hui Yin’s biological brother. Growing up Hui Yin was made to learn the official etiquettes of being a princess, but she also learnt basic skills in martial arts. She expressed more interest in learning martial arts and would train more. At the age of 10 her mother passed away due to illness which brought her and Liu Wei closer as siblings. Shortly after the Crown Prince, Zhao Wang Yong also made an effort to try and be close to the two siblings. The three of them got along well but Wang Yong wasn’t as close to his two siblings like how Liu Wei and Hui Yin were. By the age of 14 Hui Yin totally prefers handling a sword then being in an elaborate princess dress in her palace quarters like decoration. This doesn’t sit well with the Noble Imperial Consort who is a powerful woman in the harem just under the Empress and she has made life difficult for Hui Yin in the past. The Consort doesn’t like Hui Yin’s fiery personality and since she is the daughter of the Third Imperial Consort doesn’t make her view of Hui Yin any better. The conflicts between Hui Yin and the Noble Imperial Consort were made known to the Emperor which just annoyed him since it’s another problem he has to deal with aside from the problems with ruling the kingdom. He pretty much was on Hui Yin’s side stating that it’s fine for his daughter to prefer military training then what princesses are normally like and pretty much told the consort to back off. For the headache Hui Yin causes him and since she like learning martial arts so much he sent her to Master Wu. A martial art master well known for his strict and intense training regimen. When she met with Master Wu he clearly stated that while training under him he will only see her as his student and not as a princess. With that she trained under him for nearly 3 and a half years. When she came back to the palace after that period she was now seen as a warrior princess.

Arc 1 - Thrown Into Another Dimension: (A bit after the Battle of New York) With the rapidly growing magnetic energy in the Sonoran Desert, S.H.I.E.L.D agents were sent over to take a look but in recent hours the energy there grew significantly. Which made Fury go over and take a look himself. By the time he got there was a portal but no one dared to go up to it due to the deadly energy spikes it was giving off once in a while. But as time passed the frequency of these energy spikes became more rapid. It wasn't until a silhouette of a figure started emerge from the portal that the agents went all defence mode. As the figure morphed into the shape to a human as it got closer. But this person was walking strangely like they were struggling to keep themselves up. Fury stepped closer to the portal but as the person stepped out of the portal onto the desert sand the agents were ready to take the shot. But Fury yelled for all of them to stand down seeing as the person in front of them was a weak looking girl struggling to hold herself up, clearly injured with blood covering her battered clothes. She looked like she was on the verge of death then being someone hostile. She walked closer to where Fury and the agents were "Please.. I beg..." just as her legs gave out and she dropped to her knee "hel-" she uttered before throwing up blood "help meee" she said in a weak voice before the rest of her body gave out and body lay unconscious on the desert sand. After Fury approached her unconscious body with caution he immediately called got for a medical team to come help this girl. Just then the portal closed up and disappeared for sight.

Later on back at S.H.I.E.L.D HQ while the girl they brought back was getting medical treatment, Maria Hill came in and gave him a report on the portal and the girl so far. Judging from her clothes she is probably from a time that's similar to ancient China. Maria Hill also presented a sword that she found in the near the near the sight of the portal. She guesses it belonged to the girl which Fury also speculates. It took several days for the girl to wake up but when she did she was kinda confused. Maria Hill was the one questioning her, but Fury made sure he was also present. They found out that this girl was named Zhao Hui Yin and it took a while for Hui Yin and agent Hill and Fury to wrap their head around the idea for Hui Yin being from a different dimension. After questioning her she demanded her sword back since she had found it in SHIELD’S possession which she was able to get back with a tiny bit of force. Similar to how SHIELD tried their best to help Steve Rogers up to date with the modern world. But when they tried to help Hui Yin since she’s not only from a whole different time but a different dimension entirely. Over time she was able to get use to living on Earth in this dimension. During this time, Fury watched over her as she settled. He knows that she is hiding something huge about who she is. At first put her to train along side the Avengers since she has ‘powers’ and has a unique way of fighting. But after a while Hui Yin stated that she would rather not be in the lime light since the Avengers are well known to the public. So Fury transferred to the her to Infinity which is more in the shadows of the Avengers. Once there Hui Yin made it known that she is the princess of the Purple Lotus Kingdom back in her dimension.

Arc 2 - Restoring the Throne: (After Avengers: Age of Ultron) With the help of Embla and her knowledge of the Bifrost, Hui Yin was able to travel back to her own universe/dimension, Purple Lotus kingdom. But what she saw upon arriving back was chaos. Her father, the emperor dead, her older half brother, Zhao Wang Yong who is the Crown Prince had his rightful place on throne stolen by her biological older brother, the 3rd Prince named Zhao Liu Wei. The Prime Minister he had his daughter Le Mo Chou to seduce the 3rd Prince so he can use the Prince as a puppet. The Crown Prince was currently in hiding. Hui Yin lay low so she can research about everything that happened while she was gone. Her first proper move was heading to the Royal tombs to pay respect to her father. While there she found a scroll which turned out to be her father's hidden decree and a letter addressed to her. The letter was from her father, his last words before he pasted away. It said that her father knew about the 3rd Prince's plan to forcefully take the throne and that if his daughter ever finds this letter that she should help the Crown Prince and restore the rightful heir to the throne. After reading is she finally understands and realises that it was the Prime Minister that was the one that sent those assassins to kill her that time which made her end up falling into the portal escaping death. All that so she wouldn't interfere with the Prime Minister's plans to control the 3rd Prince and the entire Kingdom. It didn't take long for her to find the Crown Prince, he had gathered up an army and the Prince and Hui Yin planned a rebellion. However on the day of the rebellion Hui Yin decided to storm the palace with a few menjust enough to get to her brother. But what she found was no longer her brother but an empty shell of what use to her brother with Lee Mo Chou clinging on to his side and the Prime Minister ready to attack her. She tried to talk to her brother  to snap him out of it but whatever she did nothing worked. Not long after she heard the roars of the crown prince's army storming through the palace. He pretty much has already gained control of the Capital city now all that's left was to control the palace and capture the Prime Minister and his vile daughter. It was a feice battle with the crown prince fighting the prime minister and Hui Yin fighting Mo Chou. Mo chou revealed her Core Melter arm but couldn't get anywhere near Hui Yin. In the end the father and daughter lost the battle and were captured. When the crown prince gained back the rightful place on the throne as Emperor he sentenced the prime ministers’ family to death and the rest of their clan were demoted to commoners with the next nine generations never being able to become court officials. However, Lee Mo Chou somehow slipped through and escaped; disappearing from the Purple Lotus Kingdom. The now Emperor gave out a decree stating that if she is ever seen on the border of the kingdom then she is to be killed on the spot. As for Hui Yin’s biological brother, Zhao Liu Wei there was no way for anyone to save him; not even Hui Yin due to whatever sick dark magic Mo Chou and the prime minister did to him. He’s to far gone so with a heavy heart the Emperor had to put his brother down. As Liu Wei was dying the dark magic could be seen leaving his body he was able to come back to his senses. Hui Yin was already by his side holding her dying brother in her arms and a crying mess. It broke her even more when “Mèi mei (little sister) You’re alive…” Hui Yin let out a sob “I’m sorry I left Gēgē (older brother). I’m so sorry.” He turned his head over to face the Emperor “I’m so sorry Wang Yong Gē…For…Everything” the Emperor just shook his head as a tear escaped down his cheek. With heavy breathing he turned back to Liu Wei turned back to his sister “Mèi mei…. mother’s lullaby *takes in deep breath* listen… last time” Hui Yin nodded her head knowing what he was talking about. So, she started to sing the warm familiar song that their mother use to sing to them both when they were younger. While she sang a small smile appeared on his lips and eyes started to close. She stopped when she didn’t feel Liu Weis grip anymore. Her eyes widen in shock she looked straight at the Emperor “Wang Yong Gē. Liu Wei Gē he’s… he” “He’s gone” the Emperor finished what she’s trying to say. The Emperor announce the Third Prince Zhao Liu Wei funeral held the following day. The Emperor explained to the ministers that the Third Prince was a victim of the previous Prime Minister’s schemes and that the Prince is not to be blamed for all that has happened which majority of the court ministers agreed on. With that the whole Kingdom was in mourning for the death of the prince which lasted for a year. During this time, it had been hard on Hui Yin since her closest brother was now gone but with the help of the Emperor she was able to cope. By the end of the mourning period she was given the title ‘Princess of the Eastern Sea’ which as a great honouree title and she was consider a war hero. 

It had been a month after the mourning period had ended when her legs led her to the royal astrologer/shaman’s residence in the palace. The shaman has seen the prophesy through the stars about the princess. He can sense that she feels that something big is going to happen but horrible which he tells her that she is right but not here; somewhere far away. While listening to the shaman the only word that left was “Earth” which the shaman feels like that’s the place where she should be. He tells her that the gateway (portal) that she pasted through last time and the spiritual energy from the place that Hui Yin had stayed during the time in the different world has infused with hers. Although it’s weak, it’s enough to be able to send her back. It’s going to be dangerous but judging from what she shaman has described this evil is bigger then she has ever imagined. After the talk with the shaman she went over to her half-brother, the Emperor to discuss the fate that awaits her. After questioning her in detail he let her go and that night the shaman was able to recreate a gateway for her to go back. He reminded her to trust the guardians in her jade tassel talisman since they have the power to guide her once she is over there. Once she had said her last goodbye to the Emperor she walked through the gateway which transported to the MCU dimension.

Arc 3 - Before the Battle of Infinity War:(Just after the events of Thor Ragnarok) After getting back to Earth and her teammates filled her in about the Civil War between Stark and Cap she let out a long and heavy sigh “I return to my Kingdom and find it chaos that I had to clear up. I come back here and find this place has also turned to . I can’t escape this never-ending cycle.” Hui Yin and Jean don’t really get along but somehow, they into an argument about the issue of how Jean thinks Hui Yin has a thing for Captain America. Which make Hui Yin want to smash her head own against the wall. “Why the hell do you think I like him?” Hui Yin asked her in a really annoyed tone. “You spend most of your spare time ‘training’ with him. I can see you are all over him” Jean spat back. “I am so done with you. Did you ever think that the times I was with him was, so I could get closer to some one else?” Hui Yin without even thinking. Once she registered what she just said her face went red with embarrassment. “Oh” was all Jean could say as the air around them turn awkward. Hui Yin just left since she was still pissed off and embarrassed.

That night her jade tassel talisman begins to glow white like it’s trying to lead her to an important place. She informed Fury that she’s leaving saying that something has come up. She couldn’t tell him what so important that she needed to leave since she didn’t really know herself. But the words of the royal shaman echoed in her mind. Trust your guardians. They will guide you. She didn’t say goodbye to her teammates since she feels not longer welcomed into the team anymore. So she followed her jade talisman which lead her to Scotland where she met up with Wanda, Vision and later Steve Rogers, Natasha and Sam Wilson. It was a bit awkward between her and Sam since its been a while since they have seen each other.

TRIVIA :

— She loves food and would sometimes drag other people along to food adventures.
— She was given a jade tassel talisman by her older brother, the Third Prince for her 10th birthday and she has kept it ever since. Ithas spiritual guardians that protect her but she wouldn't know that until her master tells her about it. (It's powers are outlines in the spiritual summoning part in the speecial abilities section)
— She loves exploring so when she landed on Earth and was 'taken in' by Fury she went exploring
— Yin was suppose to be one of the many that chosen at random to be wiped by the snap of the infinity gauntlet. But since she is from another universe/dimension she was spared. However However she was in intense pain just after Thanos snapped his fingers. Even though the pain felt like forever it only lasted until most of the people affected fell to dust.
— Hes hates it when people are like 'your a Princess so act like one', 'this isn't what a Princess is like' and tell her to be more like a 'proper' princess she would get really pissed off and depending how much people push her on this issue she might become violent. Since she had ben through enough of this sh*t growing up and is so over it she doesn't need people telling her now.

He is 6 years older then Hui Yin and didn’t really interact with his younger siblings when they were kid. But after Liu Wei’s and Hui Yin’s mother passed away he wanted to comfort them and become close to them like an older brother should be. So as the year went by her tried his best to be there for them and protect them. Even though the three of them became close he wasn’t able to share the same bound that his younger siblings had since he was only their half-brother.

They were close as kids since they were both have the same mother as well as their father the Emperor. He also trained martial arts with his younger sister and the two would go around pranking the palace maids. Let’s just say that when they were both young they were trouble makers. After their mother passed away Liu Wei has to be strong for his little sister and comfort her. They became even more closer as siblings. He grew up to be a hopeless romantic and became interested in Lee Mo Chou the Prime Minister’s daughter and one of the famous beauties of the kingdom. This is how she manipulated him.

Hui Yin didn't like her in the first place since she rub Hui Yin the wrong way. But Hui Yin hates her to the core after she corrupted Yin's biological older brother so that her family can control the kingdom. She was trained martical arts in secret and was taught many dark and sinister abilities including the Core Melting ability. But she escaped the execution and somehow ended up in the dimension of the mcu in space. That is where she met Thanos who she shared somewhat similar views of domination but his was on a bigger scale. Seeing her unique skills and powers he adopted her as one of his children and became a member of the dark order. Hui Yin vowed to kill her as revenge for her brother.

It was Fury who assigned her to Embla to show her how Infinity operates and show her the ropes. Because of this Hui Yin is slowly able to become friends with her since she made Hui Yin feel comfortable joining the team. Even though Embla seems impassive and intimidating Hui Yin was able to get through to her. Embla was the one that helped her find a way to return home to her dimension.

When Hui Yin first joined the team the two didn't really speak much to each other. Since the both of them had close to nothing in common. But when she found out that Hui Yin was spending anytime she has of her time 'training' with Cap that was when the fights started happened. Jean's jealousy turn pretty ugly and would take it on Hui Yin. Hui Yin had no idea why Jean was so hostile to her. It got to a point where Hui Yin would see Jean as a stirrer and would try to avoid her whenever she could. It wasn't until Hui Yin came back from her dimension and another fight broke out between the two of them that she finally understood Jean just did it out of jealousy. Which is a mixture of amusing, aggravation and just plain werid since there is no way in hell that she would have any sort for feelings for the Captain.

— Training Buddy : Steve Rogers / Captain America / Idealistic, Courageous, Nice guy, Serious / 6-10
Steve became Hui Yin's training buddy when she was put into the Avengers since he was interested in her fighting style. As they trained together they became friends and it their relationship was purely platonic. It wasn't until after he introduced her to Sam Wilson that he notice her asking him to tell her more about Sam. He found it amusing to her liking his new friend.

super human abilities

abilities : 

— Sound Manipulation: She is very talented at playing the chinese instrument called guzheng. With that and her martial arts skills she is able to use that instrument as a weapon. By strumming different notes she manipulates the sound waves that are produced. This is more affective for long range attacks. x 
— Flight: This is where she uses her sword as a mount. she would just stand on it and it would fly around where ever she needs it to go. It's on of the more basic skills when learning to cultivate one's spiritual core.
— Sword Duplication: With the power of the Crescent Sword and the high cultivation of her spiritual core she is able to make her sword duplicate itself. In a way it's kinda like her sword can create clones of itself.  The was she does this is she released her grip of the sword in her hand, causing the sword to hover in midair just by her hands. Then upto about 5 identical sword separated from the Crescent Sword. When she releases it towards her target the swords continue to duplicate upto ten thousand identical swords. Hence the name of this sword technique Birth of Ten Thousand Blades. (Like this but with swords instead of arrows and it continues to duplicate to ten thousand swords)
— Guardian Summoning: This is where she summons the dragon and phoenix of the pendant that she lets hang from her waist. They not only protect her but fight for her. (This is how massive they can become. x) But she has never actually done it before the battles of Infinity War.

weaknesses : 

— Core Melters: they are people who have the ability to destroy other people's spiritual core. However to practice this sinister ability is forbidden in the kingdom of Purple Lotus. Their hand glow a dark crimson red before they reach into their victims chest and grab the spiritual core. From there they can either crush it inside their victim or yank it out of the victim's body which is incredibly painful but not as painful as having the core crushed from the inside. The pain of having one's spiritual core crushed is so painful that it could leave one bedridden, drive one insane or worse death. However Core Melters can't destroy those who have cultivated to the higher stages that have diamond protective layer around their core. Core Melters weakness is cutting off their arm.
— Guardian Summoning: This ability is the last resort. She only calls upon the dragon and phoenix when she is out of opinions. Since this takes a lot of power and energy to call apon them. It doesn't even last that long and by the end of it she is really weak or in worse cases she is unconscious because of how fatigue she is.

combat & weaponry : 

— She was trained with an ancient style of martial arts from a young age. It was a type that help her cultivate her inner self; her sprirt core. Most would say that her hand to hand combat is quick yet sharp. With added knowledge of the acupuncture points she aims for the weakest parts of the body which makes her even more dangerous then she already is.  Her main weapon is a sword named the Crescent Sword which was a gift from the her father. However she can turn her sword into an instrument called the guzheng (which has been explained above in abilities). (here's some clips of her type combat style 1, 2, 3  A/N: I've already coded the long videos to play specific parts  and not the whole video. But it only works on desktop/laptop. Not on mobile)

history : 

— Back in her dimension most people had a something inside of them known as the spiritual core. By cultivating and nurturing it one could achieve spiritual powers. But like how everything has a dark or light side it’s the same with cultivating one’s spiritual core. There are those that uses it for good and other use it for evil. Even though was Hui Yin trained martial arts at a young age, so she has the knowledge of basic skill, it wasn’t until the Emperor sent her to train with Master Wu that she learnt real martial arts skills. With her master’s strict training she was able to master the high levels of martial art and was able to increase her cultivation to the higher stages where her core started to develop the diamond protective layer around it.

COMMENTS : Hello. Here is my character. I'm so excited for your story. My character is inspired by the many chinese dramas that I'm watching now a days. Hopefully Hui Yin isn't too hard to work with or too OP. I got really into writing her backstory, hopefully I didn't overdo it. Also, sorry for the crappy personality section. I really at writing them.

SCENES REQUESTS : 

— Days or even weeks after half the population had turned to dust when the rest of infinity met up with Hui Yin and the fellow avengers that were left Hui Yin was on the rooftop. She starts singing her mother’s lullaby as she lights up a lantern with fire she conjured up in her hand. Jean comes out to the rooftop to where Hui Yin is just as she lets go of the lantern. Jean watches it from a distance while listening Hui Yin. It was until she got the end of the chorus when Jean made herself known to her and she stopped singing. “Can’t sleep?” Hui Yin asked. “No… You?” Jean asked her as she stood by Hui Yin’s side joining her to watch the lantern fly off into the distance. “What’s with the lantern?” Jean asked breaking the silence. “It’s a custom back in my kingdom to honour and respect for those who have passed” she explains, and Jean nods her head as she understands. Before Jean could ask Hui Yin started to explain “That song was a lullaby that my mother sung to me and my brother when we were kids. I’m hoping that it could reach my brother in the afterlife.” They both stood there in silence as Hui Yin watch the lantern disappear out of sight and Jeans turned her attention to the view of the city. After a while the two started talking again and the conversation Jean apologising for letting she hulk over and chasing Hui Yin away. All due to her own jealousy of Hui Yin and her thinking that Hui Yin has a thing for Steve Rogers. Hui Yin told her that there were no hard feelings and that everything is in the past.
— It was one of the battles with the Black Order that Le Mo Chou suddenly appear. It didn't take long for Hui Yin to realise that she has joined the black order. As Le Mo Chou and Hui Yin fought Le Mo Chou right hand turned crimson red and reached into Yin's chest and wrapped her hand around her spiritual core. Thinking she had an upper hand Mo Chou smirked as she watched Hui Yin started to struggle with her breathing. But when she tried to yank the spiritual core out of her it wouldn't budge. While Mo Chou was distracted Yin stabbed her in the leg and kicked her sending her flying backwards. Hui Yin collapsed to her knees and used her sword as support as she was trying to get herself back to normal. Thor and one of the other girls of Infinity ran up to Yin checking if she was ok. While heavily breathing Yin just said "Cut...her...right arm off"as she watched intensely at where Mo Chou landed.
