April 15, 2019 - I thought I could have handled it better because this is the third enlistment from the group, (Fourth if you will count HOYA.) but I failed to do so. I woke up with a heavy heart knowing that today INFINITE's happy pill would be enlisting. 

As I said before, when SUNGYEOL enlisted I know that sooner or later DONGWOO would enlist. I thought I was already prepared, but when I heard that he will be enlisting this April, I was still shocked. I thought he will be enlisting on the second half of the year, but it turned out that he was just waiting for the exact date.

I often check my IG account to look for some updates regarding his enlistment. His updates made me smile. He spent his last few days with his family. He even posted a video of his niece, Sebin. I think it is her who DONGWOO will miss the most. He loves that kid so much. He always make sure to spoil her. SUNGKYU even that if he didn't know DONGWOO that much, he would thought that Sebin is his daughter and not his sister's. 

Anyway, he posted this letter for INSPIRIT and it made me cry.

TRANSLATION:

Hello!

This is INFINITE's second-eldest Jang Dongwoo ~.~ It feels strange to greet you with news other than that of an album or activities. Following leader SUNGKYU and SUNGYEOL, I'm the third one from INFINITE to say goodbye!

Having to tell you about this sudden news about my enlistment, I feel very apologetic to INSPIRIT, and I'm feeling many emotions at once.

Many things have happened, and there have been some complications, but INSPIRIT was a great support and source of power for both myself and INFINITE. I will do my best to serve my country so that the love I received can shine even brighter.

I thank our INSPIRIT for letting me have so many big and brilliant activities both as an INFINITE member and as the individual Jang Dongwoo. Starting in 2010 with promotions as part of INFINITE, a unit, and as a solo artist, as well as activities like musicals, variety shows, radio shows, concerts, a world tour, and more, it was thanks to INSPIRIT that these unbelievable things were made possible, and I thank you deeply once again!

I was so happy and felt blessed about my activities that I would want to be a part of INFINITE again if I were to be reborn!

INSPIRIT! King of adapting! King of optimism! Second-eldest Ddo Ddo Woo! I'll be back safely!

DONGWOO x INSPIRIT

INFINITE

DONGWOO is indeed very sweet. Since then, he always say that he owes everything that he has to INSPIRITS and those people who believed in him and INFINITE.

This made me at ease that as long as there are people who believe in them, he won't quite being in INFINITE. I am really happy that I stan such group. They are pabo for their fans. They always do everything for them. I just hoped that sooner or later, they would be able to find their other half. They are not getting any younger. They need to have their own girlfriends. LOL. 

Anyway, I will not cry anymore because I know SUNGKYU, SUNGYEOL and DONGWOO won't like it. I will just wait until INFINITE is complete once again. For now, I will just support the remaining members who are still not enlisting. My OT3 - WOOHYUN, MYUNGSOO and SUNGJONG.

INFINITE maknae, SUNGJONG sent him off. Just like what he did to SUNGYEOL. Well, the only one he didn't send off was SUNGKYU because all of them were in Russia at that time. I know if he has a choice all of them would be there, especially WOOHYUN. Remember SUNGKYU spent his last two days with him. 

Too bad WOOHYUN (He has a new musical, MEFISTO and he is getting ready for his solo concert in Taiwan.) and MYUNGSOO (He is busy filing his drama, ONE AND ONLY LOVE.) are busy because of their own schedules. I know they would have sent him off as well. 

As you can see he is smiling and he seems to be having fun. So let us send him off with a SMILE.
