— Piper naturaly has long black but she dyed it hair mainly dark colours like dark brown/brunette. However when she is feeling adventurous she dyes it dark purple or even something like like ocean theme.

— Piper's style consist of summery festival outfits. But during the colder season such as late autumn, winter and early spring her style is more casual and simple. During the summer she loves wearing flower crowns mostly when going out to out door events in the summer such as beach parties and music festivals. But with every outfit she always has the same bracelet on her right hand. Which is a Tomorrowland bracelet she got from her cousin.

— Piper is a fun loving person, the type of person that would go all out when trying to let loose. After hiding true herself for most of her life to please her parents she realised that she has wasted a lot of time being someone else not the person who she really is. She is the person who would take people on crazy adventures and help others to find who they really are.

On the outside she might seem like she doesn't give a about anything and with some stuff she might not. But with the stuff that she really cares about, like her worries and fears she unintentionally keeps it inside because she's scared that if it started to reflect her outer appearance as well as inside her then she might explode.

background

— Piper Byun was born on the 6th of August,1997 in Melbourne, Australia. She is the third child in the family; with two older sister. Since her two older sisters turned out to be successful with their studies and later their careers a lot of pressure was put on Piper to follow in their foot steps. It got to a point during her the first two years of her high school that she felt like the life that she was living wasn't her's (A/N: There is no middle school in Australia. After primary school it's off to high school).That she was living in the shadows of her older siblings and the high expectations of her parents weighing her down. At about 10th grade her family moved back to Korea since her dad got a job there and he also has family there. Around the time of this realisation and the new environment she was now living. It stressed out and her grades started to drop. It stressed her out even more and her parents would start to tell her off saying how disappointed they were with her current grades. Her older sisters weren't any help because that don't seem to understand how much their success affect her. So it's not surprising that she isn't close to any of them since whenever they try helping her Piper either gets more stressed out or feels stupid to the point that she can't focus on anything. The only time she would get to time to herself and not having the expectation push down on her so much is at night when everyone is asleep. That is the time when she can let her tear flow freely down her face without any of the judging eyes of her family and the only thing that comforts her is the music that she plays through her phone which takes her to another place for a while.

But one day, she said to herself 'This is my life' not anyone else. So she changed her way of thinking. She would stopped thinking about the top position of the class and would try her hardest with the best of her abilities. She also started working part time at a popular trendy clothing store to take her mind off study and family for a while. Sometimes her aunt's family come over for family gatherings. At first Piper avoids them but after a while she found that she really connects with her two cousins Park Hong Chul and Park Ha Eun who are older than her; even more then her own sisters. They were all interested in EDM music and the music festival life which is how they connected. She was able to open up to them and talk about how her life was living behind the shadows of her sisters. After the three of them got really close in the short amount of time Ha Eun gave her that bracelet saying that that her brother gave it to her hoping for her to be able to experience a music festival that is as unique as Tomorrowland in her youth before a career drags her into serious adulthood. Which Ha Eun ended up going to Tomorrowland and having a blast with her friends. Since Ha Eun didn't have any other younger siblings to pass it down to she gave it to Piper. Thinking back to when she would try to be like her older sister just to please her parents. Even though she want to be her own person and doing what she wants to do she still feels like she need to at least confront/talk to her parents about how she felt over the years. After she told her cousins that she wanted to confront her parents her cousins her really supportive and gave her advice on how she should go about it. So six month before graduating she confronted her parents and told them how she felt about her life. She also told them her plans in the near future which is to not go straight into uni because she has no idea what she want to do with her life and take a year off to just work and sort out the next step. Which ended up with her and her mother is a really heated argument and her father defending Piper. After the argument she asked her father why he defended her. He explained to her that the expectations that both her mother and father put on her was unfair and that it took a while for him to finally see how it was really affecting her. All the time that she thought everyone was asleep while she cried her eyes out at night; her father heard them all and it broke his heart into so many pieces. When she told them what she wanted to do with her life her father was proud because his daughter has finally got her own goals for life not one that was placed for her.

A week after graduating high school she and her mother weren't on good terms but her father told her to follow the path that is before her. She still worked at the clothing store part time. She also worked as an admin assistant in a graphic design studio for about 7-8 months since it was a temporary role. Which was alright for her since it took up a most of her gap year. The rest of the year she started looking into a range of different courses at different universities and went to a bunch of open days. At the last open day she went to for the year it was at X university (A/N: I couldn't find the name of the uni anywhere in your story so I just called it that). There she me a bubbly girl named Choi Hae Won they both decided to explore the campus together. When first years started Piper and Hae Won were stuck together like glue. Mid year of her first year the manager changed that the store that she worked at and he was a major a**hole. Piper tried her best to just focus on working and avoided him when she could. She lasted 4 week of his bs before she quit. After that she spent a few months looking for another job she ended up taking a casual role at a small book store closer in the city.

— There's a lot of tension between Piper's older sisters and her cousins. Mainly due ther two different point of views when it comes to Piper. Since her older sisters see their cousins as stealing Piper away and are jealous that they were able to be close to her is such little time where as both Piper's sisters wouldn't be able to be close to their little sister. 
— Even though she loves cooking/baking she wouldn't want to do it for a career because of all the stories she's heard of people turning their hobbies into their career which turns into a nightmare
— She cries every time she watches the music video "Shelter" by Porter Robinson. It doesn't matter how many times she's seen it. That music video will always make her cry.
— Her older cousin Ha Eun gave her that bracelet since Hong Chul gave it to her and they didn't have any younger siblings in their family to pass down to. She gave it to her hoping she would be able to experience a music festival that is as unique as Tomorrowland in her youth before a career drags her into serious adulthood.
— sometimes she would turn on previous shows of different DJs from major music festivals from all around the world such as from Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival, etc. She would have it on in the background either when studying, doing chores around the house or when she's in the kitchen.

He seems really protective of Piper especially  after she told him and his younger sister of what her household was like and what she had been through. Piper would catch up with him and Ha Eun all the time. He actually help her get an intern role at the company he worked at near the end of her first year. It would always be tense whenever he and Ha Eun her in the same room as Piper's sister.

— Older Cousin • Park Ha Eun / 25 / Park Shin-hye / Interior Designer / Funny, Quirky, Independent, Adventurous / Piper was able to open up a lot to Ha Eun, more than her own sister ever could. She understand what Piper is going through since she wasn't uptight in her own days at uni. Piper can always talk to her about a lot of things like her studies, boys and about other stuff going on at uni. She would always gives Piper advice whenever she needs it. But with Piper's older sisters she also experience the same tense atmosphere like her older brother experiences.

— Best Friend • Choi Hae Won / 20 / Jin Ji-Hee / Graphics Design Major / personality traits / They both met at he Uni Open Day and decided to explore campus together. At the end of the day they were friends and exchanged phone numbers. They would hang out together and have weird/random adventures together. Once Uni started they were both always together since they both became close in the short amount of time together. She is also the one that annoyed her into taking up chemistry.. Since she is a hopeless romantic and has a feeling that Piper would meet someone special if not 'THE ONE'.

— Enemy • Lee Eun Ae / 23 / Chae Soo-Bin / Biology Major / Two faced, Backstabber,  / It all started when Hae Won slipped and spilled her yogurt one Eun Ae's pants and shoes. Eun Ae made sure to make Hae Won's life hell. Since Piper is best friends with Hae Won she also was affected by Eun Ae's wrath; it wasn't as bad as Hae Won but still pretty bad. Like the time when she tried to break Hae Won's and Piper's friendship by throwing (figuratively) throwing Hae Won's crush between the two. She also talk about Piper to get Yao Chi to hate her so she can 'steal' him. But he had experience girls like Eun Ae before and saw right through her. (Also at that time Piper only started to be interested in him and the thought of actually dating him hadn't entered her mind yet)

WHAT's YOUR MAJOR? My major is Business Marketing since I still have no idea what to do career wise. But I was recommended going into Business since it open up to a many industries.

DESCRIBE YOUR ROUTINE!

— On the weekday mornings I wake up an 2 hours before class to have breakfast and get ready. After that I get on the bus which take 10 min to get to the train station. The train ride is 30 min then I take another bus from the tain station to campus and that takes another 5 min. I have classes from 9am to 3pm on Monday to Wednesday & Friday. On Monday & Tuesdays I would head home and either study, do chores or just relax. But Thursday's schedule for this year is screwd up because I have a class from 10 am to 12 pm and then another class from 4pm to 7pm and nothing in between; like what am I gonna do for 4 hours. Lucky Hae Won doesn't live to far from campus so I just end up at her place and take a nap. I work on Wedndays and Fridays at a bookstore in the city. I also work on the weekends but the only when the store owner needs me. When I'm not needed at work on the weekend I sleep in and whatever happens happens since I don't really plan my weekends.

HOW DID YOU APPLY FOR CHEMISTRY?

— Just a week before the subject selection deadline there was a notice to all students via email saying that the Business Psychology subject is cancelled and the uni would no longer run that class which really annoyed the heck out of me. After a day my friend convinced me to join (more like I joined to shut her up) this Chemistry class. To be honest I didn't reallt have any expectations going into this class.

— Out of all the people in the world... he gets paired with me. It just had to be someone popular. (Oh boy. This year is going to be one hell of a ride)

— The only love of my life right now is my stand mixer. Apart from that then nope. (God. How I feel like baking right now)

— They both watch a romatic comedy in the cinemas for their movie review because they think that is what couples watch on dates. three quarters into the movie she realises that he fell asleep. After the movie ended and they both walk out of the cineas and stop near the ticket box. Piper say "Well my eyes now have cancer" since it was such a horrible movie. Yao Chi apologised for sleeping through the movie but Piper told him it was okas she glanced at the movies tarting soon on the ticket box screen. She saw the lastest Deadpool movie starting soon and asked him if he wanted to watch another movie to cleanse their eyes which he agreed. So they were sitting back in the cinemas waiting for the movie to start with a new box of popcorn. Piper also got a bag of maltesers since she forgot about it the first time round. She was about to mix it into the box of popcorn when Yao Chi stopped her by asking what she's doing. She found it criminal how he hasn't had the joy of mixing popcorn and maltesers so she told him to try it. Which he found it an amazing combo. (A/N: I highly recommend it. Google it if you've never heard of this). They both had more fun while watching Deadpool then the romantic comedy.
— "Why am I here?" Piper asked when she met up with Yao Chi at a theme park. "For a research date" he said as he shoved fairy floss in her face.
