50 FACTS ABOUT YING!
02 I'm taller than most of my female friends at 166cm but I also weigh less than mostof them at 44kg.... I attribute it to quick metabolism and a lack of appetite. I really want to gain weight because I look terribly thin and unhealthy. what scares me is I've had young girls dm me and ask how to get as thin as me.
03 I turned 18 last month, and my public exams aka the exams that determine whether I get into uni are coming up in less than a month. v stressed. send help.
04 aiming to get into university of hong kong and major in either nursing or arts and english education. aka I'd like to be a nurse or an english teacher in the future. originally aimed for social worker, but realised my mental health wouldn't be able to handle it.
05 I use she/her and identify as pan! most people who know me irl don't know that... they just think I'm Very Soft For Girls. it doesn't help that I've only ever been in one (1) relationship with a dude. which made my depression worsen and gave me anxiety as well. thanks bro.
06 my first kpop group was bigbang and I love them dearly - their past scandals haven't really affected me because I think they weren't harming other people but I'm very very very very disappointed in seungri rn. what makes it worse is he's been my ult for seven years and the recent incidents.... disgust me. I still don't know what to feel.
07 I stan way too many groups. loona, infinite (I've seen them live 4/5 times heh), seventeen (went to a fanmeeting, high fived them all, got a goodbye from the8 aka thebias), block b, astro (fanmeeting, couldn't look eunwoo in the eye as he high fived me), boyfriend, 100%, victon, vermuda, day6 (saw them once!!), winner, nu'est, snuper, sf9, clc, f(x), april, gwsn, oh my girl, red velvet, sunny hill and I think I forgot some. still salty about spica's disbandment. also love allie x, cigarettes after and bebe rexha. I like mamamoo's songs but only stan moonbyul and hwasa.
08 don't like boba milk tea, but am addicted to brown sugar boba milk. it's another thing, I swear. if you ever come to hk, hmu and I'll show you the 8th wonder of the world.
09 I cry really really easily... recently watching code black and I've cried pretty much every episode.
10 bawled like a baby watching pd101s2. the ranking announcements made me cry, the parents etc. ing wailed during finals, esp. when yoon jisung made it.

I make friends pretty easily because I'm not afraid to chime into conversations and I'm shameless. my friend said she was still hungry so I looked around and asked the innocent seventh grader at the next table "are you still eating that? she's hungry." he looked petrified.
13 which is probably because I'm kinda?? well-known around school (??) because apparently I was "very cute" with my ex and people liked seeing us together. also some kids think I'm pretty and I have been literally told that as I walked past their classrooms. not sure if I should be flattered or creeped out.
14 personally think my brows are too bushy and my nose is too flat. also has no figure whatsoever. so idk where they're coming from.

16 I find it amusing that my two best friends are a) an ambivert and b) a complete introvert. the three of us together = a spectrum. literally get questions of "...how did you even become friends with (insert name of another v introverted friend of mine) when you two have no classes together?"
17 the answer: when you enter the secondary school I'm in, half the students are from the same primary while the other half are pretty much the best students of other primary schools. I was walking home with 2 of my childhood friends and they were talking about league of legends, effectively cutting me off from the convo. I recognised someone from the summer bridging courses the school provided between 6th and 7th grade so I ran up and practically yelled "HI I RECOGNISE U DO U RECOGNISE ME WE'RE WALKING IN THE SAME DIRECTION DO U WANNA GO HOME TOGETHER?" and we've been tight for 6 years now lmao.
18 which reminds me my secondary school is often seen as the best local secondary school in hk and it freaks me out a lot smh because I shouldn't be here...... how did I get in...........
19 friends jokingly call me a sjw bc I'm literally the only one who addresses issues and problems publicly eg calling out a boy for harrassing my friend on my ig story aka 500+ views and straight up telling a teacher "why, what's wrong with girls doing soccer? it's 2018." I'm gonna get in a load of trouble some day.
20 dresses like something like an ig baddie while my best friends like pastel colours and stuff... I am a Sore Thumb.
21 I love helping people so I do lots of voluntary work!! the only thing that looks good on my report card tbh since my grades are . I routinely fail 4 subjects out of the 6 I take.
22 the place I Keep Going Back To is a children village in Sanming, Fujian, China. the kids were the purest beings I have ever met and I love them more than I love myself. they literally are my motivation whenever I get v down because every time I go I promise them I'll go back to see them so I can't die yet :^)
23 went to sanming twice with my school, planned a wholeass trip with some friends so we could go by ourselves again, then my best friend and I went the fourth time. will be going again in may.

25 the kids there either a) have no family left b) parents are in another city and can't take care of them c) parents are in another city and their grandparents are too old to take care of them but they're the strongest people I've ever met. I told a 10 year old girl her name was very pretty and she smiled and said "thanks! my dad chose it. he's gone now though." my eyes watered and I tried v hard to not cry in front of her.
26 another time I had to hold it in was when a 5 year old boy who only had his father left hugged my leg and called me mom.
27 because of the trips I've made over the years I can see them maturing and growing and I've never felt prouder in my life.
28 seeing how rundown and how they lack basic resources in sanming is also one of the reasons why I hate the chinese government. why the would you invest in a ing space program when kids can't even afford a heater????????
29 fun fact: people from areas in china that aren't as developed are the sweetest, most genuine souls I've ever met. when we left though, we took a train from a city that was well developed and guess what. they ing stand next to the line to try to find a way to slip in without you noticing. my friends and I decided to stare at them and smile widely till they left. they didn't.
30 another fun fact: the chinese government likes kidnapping and killing activists. li wangyang was a labor rights activist who, according to the government, killed himself. kicker: his feet were touching the ground, the noose was tied to a place lower than his head.
31 let's move on to lighter topics I got too angry typing
32 used to be a really good swimmer and was asked to join the school swimming team. said no because I'm lazy and didn't want to catch a cold during winter. stopped swimming. can't swim anymore. almost drowned in a swimming exam.
33 also used to not be afraid of heights. was once abseiling in australia and lost my footing, slamming into the cliff face. freaked out, couldn't find a footing, and hung there in the air crying. been scared of heights ever since.
34 the school forced everyone who was going from 9th to 10th grade to go to australia for 28 days for a rite of passage program. activities included abseiling, rock climbing, canoeing, hiking expeditions etc. v memorable experience but I hated it because it made me feel useless. however!! my current best friends were my groupmates in australia so if I could choose I would still go again.
35 I injured my knee during the last 5 day expedition and my groupmates had to carry my heavy backpack for me and I felt Very Bad.
36 as soon as I finish my public exams I will dye my hair, get more ear piercings and tattoos. my parents can't stop me.
37 there's a chance that after graduating uni I'll just head to fujian and stay there with the kids. if I'm a nurse, I can take care of them and if I'm an english teacher I can teach them! yay!
38 pottermore says I'm a hufflepuff but tbh I'm only a hufflepuff to my friends?? I am fiercely loyal and will 100% hate people who've hurt them even if they treat me nicely and am not afraid to stand up for them even if it's an authoritative figure.
39 however!! lots of people hate me because they think I'm a because I don't have a filter and can be pretty mean. also some think I'm a huge flirt because I have lots of guy friends and man I wish I know how to flirt all my dude friends see me as one of them and I get punched and tagged in memes that say "tag a girl who's manlier than u". when you first meet me we either become fast friends or you hate me there is no in between.
