My WenRene prison au is becoming kinda popular for some reason. I'm thinking of making it subscriber only but I've never done that before, all my fics are public. I'm actually thinking of making two other fics subscriber only

What do you guys think?

And fellow writers, does it make a difference in subscriber count if you make it subscriber only?

Also also, thinking of posting some stuff to ao3 but that site is a mind, what do you guys think?

Well making a fic subscriber only is up to you. Subscriber count doesn't really matter to me personally because even when you make it subs only, some people who read the first chap then decided not to like it will leave. A subber will stay when they like it and even then, it doesn't really matter still because some subber are silent reader anyway. While I personally make my fic subs only when those have rated M or TW chaps that are significant to the story
