190218 - Should I continue writing my stories?

Hello.

I'm not sure if anyone will read this, but is anyone still around here?

I've been away for quite some time and neglected updating my stories (some weren't updated in more than a year). Was wondering if anyone would still be here if I decide to continue them, because I really miss writing them.

Hi there. I totally get what you're feeling right now because I do too. I find that writing just for the sake of someone reading my words isn't always the right thing to do. Write for the sake of your characters and events; they exist in their own world and would love to have more events to go through. Getting feedback and noticing the number of readers go up day by day is satisfying but you shouldn't make it the main reason why you write.

Hi authornim. For me writing stories means many things: passion, inspiration and a lot more than just words in a page...

It tells about a person's life no matter how small the audience. People or followers might not reply to this immediately but if you give it time people will reply.

Hoping you find the passion to write again ... to write for yourself and your audience.
