She hoped it would become a refuge for her son, too.

personality traits

positive : patient, responsible, earnest, caring

neutral : honest, straightforward, mellow

negative : dull, naive, introverted, submissive

personality

"He was patient since he knew that no storm lasted forever." Out of all four princes, Zhong Lim is the most patient. Since the First Prince is usually busy helping out their father, and the second prince is usually busy training the army, Zhong Lim would often spend time with the Third Prince. The Third Prince is very out-going and has a short temper, so Zhong Lim had to practice patience many times in his company. "It's not only for what we do that we are held responsible, but also for what we do not do." Responsiblity was always one of Zhong Lim's best traits. In this retrospect, he is more of an adult compared to the other princes. He always owns up to his mistakes and never lies about his actions. A lot of his peers and fellow gods find him very reliable because of this. His sense of resposiblitiy was one os the reasons why he was chosen to be the caretaker of the sacred peach tree. "He was so earnest that he looked stupid." Zhong Lim is the type of person who invests 100% of himself in everything he does. No matter what it is, he will always do his best for it. He is quite honest when it comes to his work. He never skips steps or does a half-assed job. He gives everything his all which is something the other princes and gods respect and admire about him. "His care always came with a gentle touch." Zhong Lim is that one person you can go to when you need to let something out. Be it you need to cry, or you have something that you just need to let out, Zhong Lim would be the first person you go to. Something about how Zhong Lim gives you his full undivided attention when you talk to his is really comforting, and how he doesn't make any comments when he knows you just need to let everything out as soon as possible. He sees it from your point of view and understands your conflicted feelings. He makes it feel as though you have a comrade when you feel like no one else will be there for you.

"His mother taught him that honesty is the best policy." His mother's best friend once told a lie that resulted in her death. To ensure that the same fault would not happen wih her son, she taught Zhong Lim to never lie, no matter the situation. Although his honesty was not always appreciated and is the reason not many enjoy his company, Zhong Lim never failed to tell the truth and only the truth. "He always thought honesty was better than sugar-coated bull." Zhong Lim never holds back his thoughts. He usually is quite reserved but will not hesitate to call you out on your bull if it is necessary, especially in dangerous situation. He won't be harsh with his words, but he still hits you where it hurts even if its not intentional. "He knew being mellow doesn't always make for a good story, but it makes for a great life." Zhong Lim is a really chill kind of guy. He seems intimidating at first due to his status and brutal honesty, but once you start talking to him, he is really easy to talk to. He typically never stresses about anything. He's a down-to-earth kind of guy (pun intended) who never really gets upset. He's quite tolerant and patient with others and is really just relaxed most of the time.

"His dullness was his tragedy." Compared to his older brothers, Zhong Lim is nowhere near as exciting and full of life. Many find him quite boring uninteresting. While his brothers are more of talkers, Zhong Lim prefers to be a listener. The First Prince works closely with their father, the Heavenly Emperor, the Second Prince is known as the God of War and in charge of the army, the Third Prince himself is a free, wild spirit and he controls the weather in all six realms, but Zhong Lim is only in charge of taking care of a peach tree. He has no exciting stories to tell like his other brothers. "His naive persona came from his innocence." Zhong Lim has spent his entire life in the Heaven Realm. He doesn't know what life is like outside the Heaven Realm; he only knows of the stories that his older brothers have told him about the other realms. His lack of experience makes him easy to trick and fool. The other princes often for being sheltered, but Zhong Lim has never left due to his responsiblity for taking care of and protecting the sacred peach tree. "He likes hanging out with people, just not all at once." Zhong Lim doesn't mind hanging out with others. On the contrary, he actually loves hanging out with other gods, goddesses, and immortals. However, he really can't bear being part of crowds. This is why he'll often step out to catch his breath if he's with a large group. He prefers to hang out with smaller groups of people because he finds being with large groups a bit suffocating. When he's with a lot of others, he typically gets fairly quiet and a little irritated. "Many have compared him to an herbivore, and they'd be correct." Zhong Lim is so used to obeying others after hanging out with his older brothers. As the youngest and most patient, the other princes often ask Zhong Lim to do things for them. He never questions requests or orders given to him, nor does he rebel against them. He completes everything given to him without complaint.

background

Zhong Lim is the fourth prince of the Celestial tribe, but he is what others consider to be an illegitimate child. His father is the Heavenly Emperor, while his mother was the former caretaker of the sacred peach tree. His mother became a concubine after being deflowered by the Heavenly Emperor, but she was a beautiful nature goddess whose job was to take care of the sacred peach job. However, soon after Zhong was born, his mother's friend lied to her and stole a sacred peach to give to the human she fell in love with. The human went crazy and killed his mother's friend. For such a crime, the human was killed and made unable to reincarnate. For Zhong Lim's mother, she was replaced as the caretaker of the sacred peach tree and her position as a concubine was revoked, though Zhong Lim's position as the fourth prince remained. THe Heavenly Emperor took pity onhis mother who was betrayed by her close friend and allowed her to stay in the palace as the fourth prince's caretaker so that she may stay close to her child.

Zhong Lim's mother taught him strictly and made sure that he grew up to be an honest child. She taught him how to use his powers and trained him to become an earth god. When Zhong Lim was 7,000 years old, his mother was murdered by his former caretaker who was replaced by his mother. His former caretaker was enraged since she lost her job and was kicked out of the palace. The former caretaker was killed and made unable to reincarnate. After his mother's death, Zhong Lim worked hard and became an earth god at the youngest age compared the other princes. He never left the Heaven Realm, much less the palace, since it was where his mother spent most of her time. He grew to love nature and spent much time in the forest. He never forgot his mother's teachings and remained honest.

The Heavenly Emperor noticed Zhong Lim's dedication and love for nature which was similar to his mother's, so he appointed him as the caretaker od the sacred peach tree when Zhong Lim was 10,000 years old. Zhong Lim was overjoyed and took his job very seriously. He took great pride in having the same job of his mother. After becoming caretaker, Zhong Lim would spend almost all his free time with the tree. He could even be found sleeping under its shade. When Zhong Lim was about 20,000 years, he became in charge of looking over the earth immortals. Most of the earth immortals admire and greatly respect Zhong Lim since he became an earth god at a very 'young' age. His life hasn't changed much since.

personality traits

positive : hardworking, dedicated, meticulous, brilliant

neutral : daring, mischievous, realistic, confident

negative : prideful, sarcastic, cautious, manipulative

personality

"She worked hard knowing that nothing worth having comes easy." Li Jing, despite her high standing, is actually very hardworking. It's hard to imagine, but Li Jing works hard when no one is watching. She never wants to seem like a try-hard, so she practices when others aren't around. However, she doesn't want to seem incapable of anything so she makes sure that she keeps going at something until she doesn't get it wrong instead of just practicing until she gets it right. "For her, it's either you're all in or you get all out; there is no in between." When Li Jing gets into something, she really gets into it. She puts all her time and effort into that one activity. She really immerses herself into anything she cares about. She keeps going at something until she perfects it. "Her meticulous planning enabled everything she did to appear spontaneous." Once again, contrary to her high standing, Li Jing is quite the perfectionist. She hates doing things with a half-assed attitude. She thinks that if you're going to do something, you might as well do it right. She always wanted to be very percise and detailed with her work which may explain why Li Jing's attention to detail. "She knew that no great genius is without a touch of madness." Li Jing is not just smart, she is brilliant. Her mind works at an amazing rate and in an amazing way. She can't be compared to a normal scholar because it's quite obvious that she's an actual genius. If those with talent can hit a target that no one else can, then Li Jing can hit a target no one else could see.

"She lives her life as if it's a daring adventure." Li Jing is a risk taker. She doesn't mind taking risks and is never afraid to put herself out there. Many consider her to be quite bold in her actions and her words. "She always thought life needed a little spice." Li Jing's genius was discovered at a young age so she grew up always being told that she must be perfect. Of course she wasn't going to listen to them. Every time someone tells anyone not to do something, they instantly want to do the opposite. She is always looking for a new adventure to set out on. "She learned that being realistic could save people from future pain and disappointment." Li Jing is real with you. She won't feed you some sugar-coated bull, she just won't. Despite how she acts, she doesn't want to let people dream only to have to cut them off half-way. That would just be too cruel, even for her. If you someone to tell you how something is, Li Jing is the person you'd go to. "She had long given up caring what others thought about him." If you had to choose one word to describe Li Jing, it would be 'confident'. She is just so confident that it actually leaves you stunned and speechless. Even if she made a mistake, she would do it with so much confidence that you would have never noticed it. She practically exudes confidence. You can feel it with her actions, hear it in the way she speaks, and see it with that way she carries herself.

"It was pride that changed angels into devils, but she was never an angel to begin with." Maybe it's the princess in her, but Li Jing is quite prideful. She takes great pride in her strength, smarts, and lineage. She loves being a member of the Royal Demon Family and the rarity of it. This often causes her to unconsciously look down on the other supernatural species which makes her a bit of an at times, but only those that she lets get close to her will find this out. "She says that her sarcasm is her body's natural defense against stupid." Smart? Check. Pretty? Check. What else could you want in a girl? If she's a demon princess, she's got to have some sarcasm. Li Jing often gets in trouble for speaking sarcastically since it isn't 'lady-like'. "Caution and paranoia created an invisible wall that even the builder has no clue as to how to get past it." Because of Li Jing's position as the only child of the Demon Lord, she never let anyone get too close to her since she can put herself in danger. She only approaches others with extreme caution. Due to all of this, Li Jing has a difficult time trustinig others and simply letting others into her life which why she doesn't have many friends. She is wary of everyone and everything and considers the risk that come with them. "She made others' hearts race, but only to use them to win her own competition." To those who don't know any better, Li Jing often comes off as cold and prideful when in reality, she's planned out everything. Shee knows how her actions appear to some people and figures out how she comes off to others. She uses all this information to her advantage. She'll play ignorant, dumb, and naive just to land an blow with her target after getting close.

background

When Li Jing was born, her mother died. She died giving birth to the sole heir to the throne, Li Jing. Her father was heartbroken, but he never let that grief rule over him. He raised Li Jing with the help of the same wet nurse that helped his mother give birth to him. Growing up as the only child of the Demon Lord was tough, especially as a princess, but her father never abandoned her. He knew that many would try to take advantage of the heartbroken future ruler of the Demon Realm and his pitiful baby princess whose mother died because of her. That was how everyone saw the Demon Realm's royal family, so the Demon Lord kept Li Jing close to him at all times. The Demon Lord took great care of Li Jing and taught her everything personally.

Li Jing and her father grew exceptionally close as the years passed. They knew that they only had each other whom they could completely trust. Li Jing was greatful for her father's nurturing and guidance in her young  years when others tried to drown her in self-guilt by telling her that she killed her mother and that her father would abandon her because of it. He had everyone around her fired and took her under his wing. He assured her that he would take care of her and that he didn't blame her for his wife/her mother's death. This incident opened both their eyes to the greediness and wickedness of those aorund them. It was like a splash of cold water for Li Jing. It made her realize that she had to grow up fast or she would not survive in the palace. She had to mature fast and be able to stand by her father without anyone questioning her.

Maybe it was because she could only rely on her father or the incident, but Li Jing grew to be tough. She followed her father's example and was cold to everyone she met. Her father taught her to carry herself with absolute pride and confidence so that even if she was a princess, no one would ever question her standing as her father's sole heir. And it worked, but Li Jing, fortunately, had genius thinking that her father hid from others while she was young. She kept herself as an underdog since it was made others lower their guard around her. She used this thinking to make extremely detailed plans that forced her targets to back up into their lower rankings. She learned how to manipulate others, and she became one of the best at it.

As she grew older, she took on more responsibilities to help her father's work. She learned about politics, learned how to fight, and learned how lead others. She learned, then became skilled, and was later earned respect because of her skill. Soon enough, Li Jing had earned the respect of her father's entire army, and after much debate, her father finally let her go and half his army to meet Feng Yun and his army on the battefield. Li Jing and Feng Yun ended up fighting each other, and to their surprise, they were after the same goal, to have her grandfather killed. Li Jing knew how much her father hated his, so she negotiated with Feng Yun that she would fake her own defeat so that he may kill her grandfather in exchange for him leaving the rest of the Demon Realm alone. Feng Yun was suspicious, but he agreed to Li Jing terms. The two royals executed Li Jing's plan, and her father became the Demon Lord. Her father was impressed with Li Jing's thinking and told her thank Feng Yun. Before he returned, Li Jing thanked him. Feng Yun, who was also impressed with her thinking, fighting ability, and abililty to lead an army, wondered if he could visit her to which Li Jing replied with a smirk and "Only if you bring me gifts."

After the war ended, Feng Yun occasionally visited Li Jing who was always waiting for her newfound companion. The Demon Lord treated Feng Yun well since Li Jing was always happy whenever he came. Li Jing, although she would never admit it, was very lonely growing up. She could never trust anyone and was always alone without her father. Feng Yun was the first person who was on equal standing with her as a member of their respective realm's royal family. Li Jing had a soft spot for Feng Yun, but she would never admit it. The two exhanged stories from their respective realms over drinks. The two would always argue overr who's a better warrior, but they would never have the time nor permission to actually fight it out with the new pact.

Li Jing has never stopped helping her father and his ambitions. From his wanting to be the Demon Lord, to wanting to rule over all six realms, Li Jing has done her best to help him out. She went to the Human Realm in order to establish strong connections to prepare for her father's takeover and to get used to it so that she could easily adjust whenever they would come to rule over it. As for the Heaven Realm, her conversations with Feng Yun are not soley for her enjoyment. She learns bits and pieces of what it's like over in that realm.

When Zhong Lim hit it off with Li Jing, he was quick to agree to being their messenger. love story
will we last forever?

first meeting

Not so much a meeting as it is a sighting. Zhong Lim was returning to the palace when he caught a glimpse of bright red. The sight confused him as he knew no one in the palace who would wear such a bright red color. Curious, he went closer, and that's when he saw her. Li Jing was simply standing in the palace corridor admiring his flower arrangements. She was wearing her iconic red robes with her long pitch-black hair in a a simple updo with most of her hair down and straight. She had been sent to the Heaven Realm in her father's stead as the Heavenly Emperor wanted to talk to him about the pact between the Heaven Realm and Demon Realm since the pact's expiration date was approaching. Not knowing who she was, Zhong Lim was in awe of her beauty and boldness. Zhong Lim felt a sense of pride for such a beauty to be admiring his flower arrangements. He was considering whether or not to approach her when he saw Feng Yun appear. He watched as his brother and the pretty girl in red (Li Jing) talked for a moment before walking off together. Zhong Lim felt disappointed that he missed his chance to talk to the prettiest girl he'd ever seen. Feeling a little sorry for himself, Zhong Lim went back to the sacred peach tree and ate a normal peach. He felt a little better after that.

For Li Jing, right after her meeting with the Heavenly Emperor, Feng Yun was waiting for her since he was her guide. Li Jing jokingly asked when he would introduce her to his three brothers. After a moment of thinking, Feng Yun suggested going to see his youngest brother, the Fourth Prince, since he likes tea and takes care of the sacred peach tree. Hiding her growing excitement for the opportunity to have fruit, Li Jing asked if it would be alright to visit him during his duties. Feng Yun nodded saying that the Fourth Prince always asks his older brothers to visit him anyways. Feng Yun was leading the way, when a soldier came running and kneeled in front of the two royals. The soldier said that the army needed his assisstance immediately, so Feng Yun apologized to Li Jing and said that if she just kept walking straight, she would find the sacred peach tree. Then he left with the soldier. Without letting her nervousness show, Li Jing kept walking straight when she saw the peach tree and underneath it was a young boy in detailed, pale green robes. Li Jing kept walking towards the sleeping boy, when he suddenly got up and looked her way.

Zhong Lim had spread his power thinly in the surrounding area so that he would be notified of any intruder while he slept. Feeling an unknown person in his territory woke him up immediately, but then the two caught each other's eyes and both froze. Zhong Lim recognized the girl's bright red robes and pitch-black hair and quickly relaxed. He let out a sigh of relief before giving the girl a slight bow and introducing himself as the Fourth Prince. Li Jing was startled when Zhong Lim suddenly woke up but also introduced herself as the Demon Lord's daughter after giving Zhong Lim a slight bow as well. Zhong Lim politely asked her why she was there, so Li Jing explained that the Feng Yun was going to introduce him to her since they both liked tea and fruit. Zhong Lim smiled and offered her a cup of tea. He also asked if she would like a few peaches to which Li Jing immediately said yes to. The two ended up conversing over tea and peaches about little things. The two realized how different they both were, but they greatly enjoyed each other's company until Feng Yun returned. Feng Yun came back a few hours after leaving and apologized for having to leave. He also said that it was about time for Li Jing to return since her father was waiting for her to come back. Reluctantly agreeing, Li Jing thanked Zhong Lim for everything and bid him farewell before going back with Feng Yun.

our relationship

When Li Jing went back to the Demon Realm, she went right back to work and continued to anticipate Feng Yun's visits, but not for the same reason. She wanted to talk to Zhong Lim, the Fourth Prince, instead. The Demon Princess had fallen for the youngest prince's straightforward honesty and earnest yet mellow personality. Unlike many of the possible suitors, Zhong Lim did not hold back on his thoughts. He had told her as soon as they met that she was the most beautiful girl he'd ever seen. He also commented on her bright red robes which he said surprised him as no other female in the palace dared to wear such bold colors. No one had ever dared to talk to her so casually before, but Li Jing found great comfort in it. He did not hold back his thoughts, but he also knew how to listen and be patient. He always made sure she was comfortable and never let her cup become empty. It was obvious how naive he was as he politely asked her questions about the Demon Realm, but for some reason, Li Jing found it to be endearing. He was so genuine and honest that Li Jing felt like she could relax around him. She wished that there was more time to talk to him and learn more about him, and not for her father's goal, but simply because she herself wanted to know him better. The only problem was that she had no reason to go to the Heaven Realm, and similarly, Zhong Lim had no reason to be in the Demon Realm unlike his older brother. Feng Yun was a special case, and he was acknowledged as Li Jing's friend by her father. He was her only way to contact Zhong Lim, but she wasn't sure if Zhong Lim even wanted to stay in cantact with her. That is, until Feng Yun visited a day after Li Jing returned from the Heaven Realm. He came with gifts from Zhong Lim that consisted of peaches, dried tea leaves, and a letter from the young prince. Li Jing was overjoyed, and for once she let it show. Her childlike happiness surprised Feng Yun, who had never seen so much emotion from her. Li Jing asked him if it would be alright if her could act like their messenger between her and Zhong Lim. Feng Yun agreed since he had never seen so much life in his youngest brother or Li Jing's eyes. From then on, whenever Feng Yun came, he would always have a letter and other gifts.

Zhong Lim was full of nerves when Feng Yun visited him at the sacred peach tree. He liked Li Jing a lot. At first, it was because of her beauty and bold clothing choice, but after spending the afternoon with her drinking tea, eating peaches, and talking about everything and anything, he fell in love with her. She seemed like his complete opposite, but they had more in common than he originally thought. She held herself so proudly, but when he offered her peaches, she looked like a little kid who had been offered her favorite candy. Zhong Lim found the contrast to be unexpected but cute. Meeting Li Jing was like knowing what seeing the world in the color for the first time. They traded stories about their respective realms, and Zhong Lim was fascinated by every word she spoke. He just kept wanting to learn more about her and continue spending time with her. Feng Yun walked up to his youngest brother who looked extremely anxious and handed him the letter from Li Jing. Zhong Lim opened up the letter cautiously and quickly read through its contents. He became ecstatic and hugged his brother with the biggest smile on his face. Li Jing had asked if he wanted to continue writing letters to each other.

From then on, the two continued to send each other letters and gifts with Feng Yun as their messenger. Li Jing even got Feng Yun to sneak her into the Heaven Realm so that she can meet Zhong Lim from time to time. The two young royals grew closer and more intimate in no time at all. They became fond of each other and took comfort in the other's presence. While their attraction to each other was obvious, neither of them spoke about their relationship out loud. Even the honest Zhong Lim who could never keep his mouth shut remained quiet since they knew their parents would never approve. This continued for a while, until Li Jing's father told her that it was finally time to strike the Heaven Realm. For the first time, she became reluctant to follow her father's orders. In her letters, she warned him and asked him to protect himself. Li Jing's father eventually found out about Li Jing's attraction to the fourth prince of the Heaven Realm, and he was outraged. He couldn't believe his precious daughter had fallen for their enemy of thousands of years. He kept Li Jing locked up in the palace and refused to let Feng Yun into the Demon Realm. However, Li Jing refused to give up. She argued and fought against her father. Seeing his usually reserved daughter be so passionate about something moved him. He gave up and let Li Jing roam wherever she wanted. He also agreed to not harm him but on the condition that she would still help him with his attack against the Heaven Realm. Li Jing reluctantlly agreed to his conditions and immediately went to tell him that she got her father's approval.

Zhong Lim was torn after Li Jing told him about the Demon Lord's conditions. On one hand, he was overjoyed that he had the approval of his love's father, but the thought that her family will attack his home, family, and friends terrified him. He finally got the chance to visit Li Jing in the Demon Realm, and he told her his concerns. Li Jing sympathized with him and felt bad about having to go through with the attack. She asked Zhong Lim if he could get his father's, the Heavenly Emperor's, approval for their relationship. She hoped that both their father's would give their approval and persuade her father to not harm her love's family nor home. Zhong Lim agreed and managed to get his father's approval without much of a fight as the Heavenly Emperor wanted to unite the six realms anyways. Li Jing then mangaged to persuade her father to stop his attack after threatening to run away and leave him.

SUGGESTIONS? n/a

PASSWORD : LOVE - Zhong Lim is fourth in line for the throne and all he does is take care of the sacred peach tree. Compared to his brothers' works and responsiblities, his was rather irrelevant. He has never even considered being the next Heavenly Emperor. Then Li Jing appeared and changed his life. His life was always dull and monotonous until she appeared. She filled his life was color, and he fell in love with her, so much so that he couldn't imagine his life without her.
