Author's Note
Hello, lovely readers. I’m sorry again for the misleading update. I was editing the chapters on mobile and accidentally drafted Ch.16. Anytime I un-draft a chap, TDoJ pops up as a update on subscribers' feed. I didn't want to mislead my readers that there was a new chapter, so I drafted the entire story instead. I don't want to get your hopes up.
However, I HAD to un-draft TDoJ because someone plagiarized my poster. I already reported the user to Wattpadd, they confirmed my AFF story was legit, and took down the Wattpadd story about an hour ago-- which goes by the same title The Definition of Jungkook. I’ll be damned if someone uses my poster to promote their story. My own original words and my username is on that poster, so that’s damning evidence. I also contacted the graphic designer who had created the poster because it’s a shame someone is plagiarizing her art.
I have good reason to believe this plagiarizer is one of my readers because the poster is only linked to my AFF story and to a recommendation page on amino app. Even if this person happened to stumble upon my poster, they can only do so by specifically typing “The Definition of Jungkook” into Google’s search engine. Since I was too upset to read through the Wattpad story, I didn’t check to see if they plagiarized anything else. Although their storyline was different, it’s possible they could’ve used my poster quote in their story, or anything else that I written.
Please, everyone, be kind and don’t take credit for another person’s hard work. Even if you make no watermark changes to an artwork, or if you “rewrite” a story, or if you use someone’s original words to spice up your story, THEIR WORK WILL NEVER BELONG TO YOU. Don’t do it. And please don’t bash each other.
I’m sorry I’ve been MIA, but 2018 hasn’t been kind to me. I’m fine; just stressed. However, I’m writing nearly every other day. I edited 22 chapters and rewrote some definitions, but nothing major to affect the storyline. Just trying to make reading easier on me and you. I deleted 200 to 600 words from each chapter by following this simple guideline, "say in twenty words what you could in five." Using active voice, cutting out fluffy verbs and adjectives, etc. Hopefully, everything is shorter and sweeter.
Chapter 016 (17) Sushi - is a good example. For this one, though, I cut off 1,300 words and changed the definition word from "map" to "destination." (The only chapter where I changed the definition word of the day.)
