hello everyone!

i haven't ever written a blog post, so this is new haha. i've kinda been absent and i just wanted to introduce myself properly and explain why i've been gone.

so hello, i'm frostbittenkitten (if you used the vixx board on v live, you might have come across me there - i used to be one of the most active posters on there ^^; going by the username kitten), and my real name is danielle. i'm 23, come from england, and have a learning disability and mental health issues. i was studying philosophy and classics at univeristy and graduated a few months ago. i've also had a remarkably awful few years ^^;

especially this year. to keep the story short, my father had been seriously ill since 2016 (shortly after my uncle passed away) and i (and my mother) were his carers. he passed away in may this year, and three months and one day later, my beloved dog (he was a golden retriever, called reno) passed away too. i've been absent since, well, these are two huge significant deaths and the circumstances surrounding their deaths and the impact they've had on my life has.. kept me a bit occupied, to say the least. i don't want want to talk about it yet, maybe some other time if you guys are curious?

anyways, on top of dealing with everything, i recently got a puppy (his name is ravi ^^; and he's a cockapoo - cocker spaniel and toy poodle mix) and he's been keeping me a bit busy too. i was aiming to get blue blossom 2 out and be able to work on the rest of my stories as soon as i graduated from uni, but the month i completed all my university work was also the month my dad died, so i haven't exactly been able to or motivated to.

anyways, just wanted to get it out there. feel free to message me if you have any questions or would like to talk, i'm always happy to respond. ^^

regarding my fanfics, i've got more story ideas in the work (all wontaek, of course!) and am aiming to get back to writing before the end of the year. i can't promise any solid dates for things at this point, but i just ask you to be patient with me if you can. i appreciate it, and also appreciate if you don't want to wait around for me. ^^; i truly appreciate all the support on my stories, especially blue blossom. that story means a lot to me personally and the fact that people enjoyed it means the absolute world. i can only hope that when i can work on the sequel, i can make it just as enjoyable (or possibly even better?!) than the first.
