— Woolim is short, coming in at only 152 cm and weighing 43 kg. She has a small face and pointed nose, accompanied by dark hair, that she's never dyed. Woolim herself never felt like one of the prettiest girls, especially with all the other ones she trained with, but when her teaser photos were released for SM Rookies many people loved her look, so now she's become more confident in them. She has three holes pierced, along with two cartilage on her left ear and one on her right. When the group get their first win on a music show, Woolim gets a small crescent moon tattoo behind her right ear, and later on she gets her debut date on the side of her left hand.

— Woolim loves to wear shorts, a lot of times you'll see her in shorts (it doesn't matter if it's fall or summer she will wear shorts, except in winter that's too cold), what can she say, she just likes her legs. Most of her wordrobe consists of tee shirts and some sort of jeans with sneakers. She owns almost no heels, even if they will make her taller, she just can't deal with it (she thinks that she will break an ankle in them). background. Woolim was born on August 17, 1995 in Busan, South Korea, where she lived for almost her entire life. As a child, Woolim was always very active and hyper so her parents put her in dance classes so she'd get some of her energy out each day. This is where Woolim fell in love with dancing and met her best friend, Yoojin. Even after her dance classes, her parents would always her her in her room dancing to whatever song was on at the time. It didn't take her long to start learning the dances she would see kpop idols do on T.V. and when she started learning those, she decided that she wanted to be an idol one day. Woolim auditioned for SM Entertainment three times before they finally accepted her, but she knew she didn't want to go anywhere else than SM since she wanted to be under the same comapany as SHINee, Super Junior, and TVXQ, her favorite groups.

Trainee years. 10 years
trainee life.

— Woolim became a trainee in 2008. At first everything was hard. In dance she'd be used as an example for her excellent skills and in singing she's be ridiculed by the instructors for her terrible singing voice. As time went of she made many friends, which helped her with her skills and she improved. Woolim was quick to make friends, but she slowly watched all of them move on and debut without her, until it was only her a Johnny left. She comforted Johnny when he failed to debut in EXO and he did the same after she was cut from the final line up of Red Velvet, SM saying she didn't fit the group's red concepts. When Woolim heard of Blue Moon and the way SM was picking the girls, she knew she had to get into the group, it was her last shot, so when she failed to be the first girl to debut, she thought she was done for, but then she won the second debut spot and finally debuted.

PERSONALITY.

— Johnny is a funny person, he's always cracking jokes and knows exactly what to do to make someone laugh. But he's much ore than just someone whose funny, he's also super kind and caring and hard working and Woolim, watching him grow from a fresh faced trainee to a full blown idol, she feels like she knows a lot more a bout what makes him tick and the little complicated things that not everyone gets to see everyday.

love story. 

— Johnny and Woolim had known each other since they first became trainees. They were never super close until all the people they were friends with and trained with from the beginning had either left the company or they debuted before them. As soon as they started talking and becoming lose friends, they were stuck at the hip. When they were first introduced in SM Rookies and they would be shown in any sort of video together, some of the fans would go crazy and start shipping them together. At first they didn't realize that fans started to ship them, but as soon as they found out Woolim started to realize that she could see Johnny as more than a friend. She never got the courage to tell him and before she knew it, he debuted and became super busy so they almost never saw each other.

the ending.
