PERSONALITY —

Loyal- Gemma is generally reserved so she would do anything for the people she views as family. She puts the team above herself because she wants the best for everyone.
 

Intelligent- She takes after her parents and can usually be found studying some random topic or tinkering in the lab. She loves learning new things regardless of relevance and constantly has random facts. Her favorite topics are microbiology and computer science.
 

Spontaneous - Gemma has spent most of her life being afraid of who she is, so she chooses to live by the life motto of Carpe diem, Seize the day. She loves random road trips and trying out new stuff like restaurants, shops, or rides. 
 

Protective- The only thing Gemma likes about her condition is that she goes from being powerless to powerful. She feels contentment knowing she can protect her family and loved ones. She views it as her responsibility to care and protect them with her strength.
 

Stubborn- Gemma is very stubborn she hates being told what to do or how to do it. She doesn't like being wrong it makes her feel like she's failed so she will continuously argue her point.
 

Hot-tempered- She's quiet but easily angered, she has a hard time understanding her feeling so her go to is to get mad. Her temper leads to her losing friends and isolating herself.
 

Workaholic- She gets absorbed in research and experiments, she'll go days without sleep or food if she isn't checked on. Gemma gets obsessed with finishing a task which endangers her health.
 

Loner- Her inability for her to control her emotions causes her to isolate herself for fear of hurting her family or making others upset.

 

 

 

BACKGROUND —  Early life: Gemma Banner was born on Halloween in 1997 in Brooklyn, NY. Her parents are Bruce Banner and Betty Ross Banner. She was a very active child always causing mischief. By the age of two, her parents realized that she inherited effects of her fathers' condition when she was angered her eyes glow green and her skin changes to a green hue while inheriting super strength. Due to this onset of symptoms Betty was overwhelmed and couldn't handle the idea of having to be her daughters' humanity as well as her husbands. Betty divorced Bruce and left New York by the time Gemma was three. Bruce homeschooled Gemma until middle school to help her with control and restraint. Gemma is in constant contact with her mother and visits her occasionally.  Gemma practically grew up in the Avengers tower and views Tony as a second dad to her. 

 

Middle School- Her preteen years were very overwhelming for her because it was her first time going to an actual school and being surrounded by so many people and new stimuli. She was quiet and polite but often got into trouble for skipping class her excuse always was that the classes were too easy. She didn't have many friends and was found often with a book in her hand. She easily maintained above a 4.0. She still spent most of her free time at the tower conducting research, practicing programming with Tony, and making different gadgets. Her anger was mostly under control at this time.

 

High School- Due to Gemma's reserved and nerdy nature she was victim to bullying, which caused a lot of accidental flare-ups in her freshman year, resulting in her finishing her high school career at home. Her dad was understanding yet sad her normal life was being infringed on. Gemma and her dad were extremely close. Gemma received all her requirement at sixteen.  

 

 

OCCUPATION OR STUDENT — Gemma graduated college with a degree in microbiology and nuclear physics. She works full time for Stark Industries.
