Honestly I'm usually the silent type when it comes to like this, but like ?? I'm really frustrated. More at the people commenting about the girl saying 'ayy army' or whatever the hell. I personally don't care when people do that but i do see how people find it annoying and 'cringy' i guess, but hey it's a community kind of thing, you could say.

I think the girl probably thought it was BTS' Taehyung in my dp when in reality it's Wanna One's Jihoon (lol idk i was confused as hell)
but really though, why do people outside of the kpop/ARMY fandom get so triggered by this to the extent where it seems to piss them off. Like i like bts, but im not an army but i didn't feel the need to be rude to the girl, geez. There are hundreds prob even thousands of fandoms out there, maybe not as big as the kpop fandom, but they do the same thing? It just so happens that kpop as of the past few years is becoming a lot more international, bts who has a large western presece for example and did their thing in the US and they've gained a lot more publicity and their fandom spread like wildfire. Harry potter stans do their thing, justin beiber stans do their thing, fifth harmony and whatever the hell else fandoms that are big in the western industry do their thing; they comment on each other's when they see a reference in their name or they make jokes or references to their fandom too so why are they so triggered when bts fans do it? because it became a meme and they're tired of it?

do you really not have anything else to ruffle your jimmies besides 12-20 smth year old girls enjoying a community that they are a part of? Like if i saw a wanna one or bts related comment on like an idk ing how to basic video, If i didn't know anything about the fandom i'd ignore it and move on with my life. are you so angry whereby people enjoying yourselves bother you? okay then.

like i contemplated deleting the comment to avoid the negativity and before the girl sees it, but like i felt like being petty and definding the girl. i know i prob should've blocked their handles but i really couldn't be bothered to do more than screenshot and crop the pic so sorry not sorry if this is you.
