"You don't look Anorexic"
Does anorexia have a 'look'?
No, there isn't a look. You could be anorexic at fifty pounds, two hundred and fifty, or like me, ninty-eight (Yep, I lost weight again). I don't 'look' anorexic, and that's the tea, coffee, juice, lemonade, whatever.
My face is round and chubby. I don't look underweight. Yes, I know. However, that doesn't change the fact that I have an eating disorder. Does depression have a look? No. So why should anorexia?
So no, not all anorexics look like the typical stereotype. Not all of us are extremely skinny. Yes, there are some people like that, but not everybody. Being anorexic is not an appearance, or a harsh diet. It's a disorder and if you don't understand that, you need to re-evaluate your thoughts.
At my lowest weight (2015..so when I was 17-18) I weighed 85 pounds. At my highest I was 135. Anorexics come in all shapes and sizes. We don't have a 'look'. So no.
You can't 'look anorexic'.
