Yixing has always been a nice kid with a very outgoing personality. 

In fact, since he was a toddler , Yixing  has been very cheerful and friendly . He has always liked to meet new people and make friends. 

Moreover, unlike his older sister who used to be more quiet , he  has always been a sort of "sunshine" who is almost always happy but also a kid who has never liked standing still and so is always up to something. 

Yixing  , indeed , is a lively boy who doesn't like to sit around doing nothing . He has always liked to learn new things , especially about his passions ( such as dancing, rapping, music and inventing stories) and to share them with the others (sometimes even when they don't like them. XD) . In fact , he is very talakative , especially when the main topic of the converstation is something that she likes . Anyway, also when you are talking about something he doesn't know he will suddenly start to bombard you with many questions. XD

He has also always been very curious, creative and endowed with a lot of fantasy . He is basically a daydreamer and likes everything that allows him to "fly with his imagination" (as he says) . In fact, he has always watched a lot of fantasy and sci-fi TV dramas, animes, cartoons and movies . He also loves reading books and novels (she likes especially the stories about magic and fantasy worlds) and inventing , first only in his mind then also in written form , short stories and fairytails. He also started to write lyrics at the tender age of 11 years old.

Yixing biggest hobbies when he was a child  , anyway , was surfing the net , making videos (mostly AMV and FMV) with movie maker and posting them on youtube, chatting with people from all the world and learning new things about his favourite movies , books and tv shows (so, basically, his favourite "fandoms") thanks to internet communities . 

It is probably due to the fact that he has always chatted with people from all over the world , Yixing  is also very openminded and tolerant towards everyone ( especially about the LGTB community and the ethnic and religious minorities) . He thinks that every peson is precious, that everyone must be respected and that all the people are basically the same regardless , age, ethnicity,religion, family, ual preference and other things . For his way of thinking, anyway, Yixing has always had some issues  in comforming to the strict rules of both China and  South Korea . 

Despite being a bit rebellious, Yixing is actually very caring and kind-hearted . He doesn't likes seeing people suffer  , so , he always try  to bring positivity and happiness to other people . Moreover, even when he is feeling down or sad , he always try to be positive and to motivate others not to be negative and to smile more (unfortunately, he rarely succeds in doing it , especially with some other  members of SOLAR who always thinks that he is teasing them ) .

A part from being a bit rebellious , he might seems a nice kid , right? Unfortunately , Yixing is not only rebellious but is also very reckless and stubborn .When he set his mind about something is almost impossible to change it . Moreover, he always wants to have the last word when he thinks he's right (even if he's wrong)

The fact that he, thanks to his parents,  grew up with lots of freedom  and his outgoing character makes him more indipendent and impulsive . Moreover, the fact he doesn't likes lying and he always try to give her honest opinion about everything makes him sounds  outspoken , sometimes . Fortunately , when he realizes that his words or his behaviour might have offended or hurted someone he immediately apologizes and promise to not do it anymore. 

Yixin is quite a responsible boy but, due to his young age, is also naive, unselfish and tends to trust everyone . Both this and his recklessness may put him (and, usually,  also his hyungs) in troubles . Sometimes , anyway , he is the ones that help other people to get out of the troubles . Like what happens to many kids and teenagers , his recklessness could  turn into wisdom and his advices could be very useful for some of the other trainees at blockberry creative  . 

Anyway, he doesn't likes giving advices to other people, especially to the younger ones,  since she is a bit insecure about his skills (even if he doesn't like tho show other people this side of imself) .

Liang Yixing  was born on December 18th 2000 in Qingdao , the largest City in eastern Shandong Province on the east coast of China, as the second and last  child of a Chinese father and a Korean mother. 

In fact, Yixing's father , Liang Rong , was born and raised in Quingdao , while his mother, Nam YooJung was born and raised in Seoul , South Korea, but moved in Quingdao when she was 19 years old , to attend the same University 

Despite pursuing different degrees (in fact now his father is a computer techician while his mother his a music teacher in an High school of Quingdao ) Rong and Yoojung,  , who were the same age (both were born in 1970),  were able to met during their first year of College and to get married after 6 years and , then, to give birth to two children : Jingjie (born in 1998) and Yixing  ( born in 2000) . 

Compared to her sister, who js quite calm and a bit shy , Yixing has always been a very lively, happy and outgoing child . When he was a toddler she always smiled and talked to everyone , even much older people who usually were annoyed by this talkative kid they didn't know. 

Yixing  was also hyperactive when he was a kid . When he was in kindergarten was always up to something and usually made more trouble than all his classmates  put together . Since he was a little kid he has been always interested in many things , like daydreaming, inventing tales , discover new things, drawing, singing , dancing ,  pretending to be a rockstar, pretending to be a superhero (or a supervillain , when his poor sister was mean to him . XD), riding the bike (first with wheels and then, at 6 years old, without anything xD) , playing many games , even if he wasn't very good in everything ( he likes drawing but , as he also knows, he draws very badly ) . He also started to read and write  at an early age (he was 5 years old) thanks to his mother .

Among all these things , he has always had an interested in TV . He wathced not only lots of anime and cartoons but also movies, drama and especially music shows or similar kind of shows in which people used to dance and sing together .  He has been always fashinated by those kind of shows where both the audience and especially the performers seems to having a lot of fun .

When he was 6 years old , her mother , slightly desperate because his youngest son  had always too much energy and ends up to breaking precious things while playing games with his older sister and his friend , she enrolled him to a dance school  ,already attended by both his sister and an older male cousin of him,   in order to make him more disciplined and calm . Unfortunately , dancing managed to calm Yixing  only a bit , but let him knows new things (for example that there are not only one but several dance styles) and made him even more interested in the world of entertainment , since his dance teacher always made her students see the videos famous dancers' performance in order to learn them for the dance recitals the schoold made twice (at Christmas and between June and July) . 

Then, some time later, he enrolled in a primary school in which , among the subjects , there was also music and children could start to learn how to play an instrument since the third grade ( he chose piano but , then , when he was 9 years old, he also started to study guitar at home ). All the students also learned how to read  the musical notes and to sing . 

Thanks to his studies Yixing developed a strong love for music and  started to being interested also in listening to different music genres .He used to listen lots of music , especially on youtube . His favourite type of music were rock but he was also interested  pop and hip hop .

When he was almost 10 years old , in 2010,  he also  decided to start a youtube channel with the help of his sister. At first he started it only because many of his classmates had already their youtube accounts in which they talked a bit about his hobbies and  showed what they learned during music class at school but , then , he started to do cover of famous songs with not only piano but also guitar and other instruments , which he learned alone thanks to internet videos and online lessons . Sometimes he also sang . At first he was a bit tone deaf but then , also thanks to the advice he received by the viewers of their videos , they managed to improve little by little.  Later, between 2011 and 2012, he started to make amv and fmv (basically fan-made music video consisting of clips from one or more shows or movies set to an audio track, often songs or promotional trailer audio) . In 2013 ,  he also started to showcasing his rap (even if at the beginning wasn't very good and not so fast as it is now ) and doing cover of kpop song , which leater helped him, in 2015,  to be casted by Polaris Entertainment  and , then,  in 2016, to join Polaris sub-label , Blockberry creative in order to become a member of their first boygroup , SOLAIRE. 

Unfortunately ,his youtube channel ,who has never been very famous even if he has always had many followers compared to his (former) classmates channels , is now deactivated but many people reposted some of his video , especially his rap covers and his anime openings' cover (one of them , the cover of "Paper Moon" , the second opening of the anime of Soul Eater, also become the opening of the fanmade "anime version "of spongebob squarepants in early 2015 , right before he was casted by Polaris Etertainment.

In fact , in early 2015 someone from Polaris Entertainment noticed Yixing's youtube channel and , impressed by his talent in both singing and rapping , sent him an invitation to join the Polaris Entertainment's open audition that would have been held the following month in Seoul, South Korea. 

After having persuaded  his parents to sent him to Korea for the audition (this hadn't been difficult since both his parents has always been supporting towards both him and his sister) , Yixing managed to pass the audition and become a trainees at Polaris Entertainment. 

A year later, in 2016 , Polaris Entertainment established a sub-label , named Blockberry Creative , and Yixing, together with some other young trainees , was transferred there . Some years later, he was chosen to be a member of SOLAIRE, the first boygroup produced by Blockberry Creative. 

✩ He is able to play the piano and the guitar. 

✩ Despite he mainly trained as a rapper , he also took many vocal classes in order to improve as a vocalist . 

✩ He can do beatboxing. 

✩ He is able to write lyrics . In fact, he wrote the lyric of his debut song "fly with me" all by himself.

✩ Even if he is not among the best daner in the group , he is quite a skilled dancer. 

✩ He can do backflips and is quite flexible. 

✩ He is a sort a "jack of all trade" in the group but his skills are quite average compared to that of many of the other members of SOLAIRE ( or , at least, he think in this way). 

☆ He has always been an avid reader of comics and manga since he was a kid.

☆ He is an huge fan of DC Comics and Marvel and is always informed about the things related to these two publishers of American comic books.

✩ As regards manga , his favourites manga are Shaman King and Soul Eater.

✩ He likes not only comics and manga but also books, movies, anime, drama , musicals and everything let her "travel" with his imagination (which is very wide, sometimes)

✩ He likes also reading fanfiction about anime, movies, books and drama. He also wrote many "short stories" but never published them ( anyway , don't worry ! Yixing has never written a rated R fanfiction)

✩ His favourite genre of books are fantasy books, especially the ones about magic or magic world (Like "Harry Potter" saga, "The Worst Witch" ," His Dark Materials" trilogy , "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy, "The Hobbit" and  "The Chronicles of Narnia" ) 

✩ He is a big fan of EXO, BTS, TVXQ, Shinee, Vixx and BAP , who are his "role models" regarding kpop .

✩ He shares the same name with Lay of EXO (whose real name is Zhang Yixing) and he hopes that, in the future,  he become a artist who excells in various field like him. 

✩ Anyway , for his name , he had some troubles with some hardcore EXO-l who started an online petition in order to makes him change his stage name (so, basically, adopt a stage name instead of keeping his legal name as his stage name).

✩ He loves talking and fanboying with SOLAIRE's fans during fanmeetings and fansign events (poor fans . Yixing is very talkative, especially when he talks about thinks he likes ) .

✩ He is very frank when he speaks with fans and doesn't mind telling a hardcore fan or a saesang that their behavior is dangerous or troublesome. For this he is often called by the company and some of his fellow members.  

✩ He is a fan of Disney and , especially , Disney movies . He especially likes "Disney musical movies", like "High School musical" and  " Camp Rock" , and (thanks to his father who had them downloaded on a dvd) Disney's firsts "original movies" who were produced in 1990s and 2000s.

✩ He also likes (thanks again to his father) a lot of old fantasy movies of the '80s and the '90s  like "The NeverEnding story" , "Labyrinth" and "The Worst witch" movie of 1986 . 

✩ Among the several tings he likes , ther is also the Harry Potter saga and would like to visit London to see the locations where the movies were shoot.  

✩ His favourite tv show is the American Drama "Gotham" and usually fanboys over it ( one of Yixing biggest dream is to starring in an episode of Gotham  ) . During the fanmeeting after his debut he also talked about this. 

✩ He has a good relationship with both his fellow trainee , especially his hyung Yunseong , who was the first member of the project boygroup of SOLAIRE (and also the first male trainee he met at Blockberry creative) . He is also a godd friend of Loona 's Heejin , who has the same age of him and used to train with him since they both were in Polaris Entertainment.  

✩ He believes in magic and all the supernatural things there are almost always in sci-fi and fantasy movies. 

✩ He also believes in the exsistence of aliens .

✩ He is good at making video with "windows movie maker" and other video editing programs. Before he became a trainee she used to make many AMV ("anime music videos", edited video about animes)

✩ His  favourites food are ice-cream, pizza and bubbl tea. 

✩He thinks that the worst thing about being a trainee is the hungry diet all the trainees have to do to "look better on television".

✩ As regards music, a part from Disney movies' soundratck and anime opening and endings, his favourite artists are Linkin Park , Melanie Martiezx , Avril Lavigne , Demi Lovato, Lenka and , especially, Bruno Mars . His favourite songs of all time is " Uptown Funk" (by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars)

✩ He is also a big fan of kpop . His favourite groups are his  labelmates Loona , Exo, Shinee, BTS, TVXQ, B.A.P. and Vixx. He also likes a lot Nu'Est, Seventeen , Monsta X , Red Velvet and Dreamcatcher. 

✩ Because of his double nationality , Yixing  has got both a Chinese name  and a Korean name .
