Red Velvet's Wendy has been spotted by Alyssa Gagliardi, an NWHL (National Women's Hockey League) player for the Boston Pride.

Back in June 2017, Alyssa Gagliardi uploaded an old photo of herself with the 2009 Shattuck Varsity Golf Team which included a number of NWHL players.

After some time, some fans have started to notice one particular member in the photo who looked very familiar, which was none other than Red Velvet's Wendy! Fans pointed out this interesting coincidence which eventually reached the ears of Alyssa Gagliardi herself but also Amanda Kessel, another NWHL player, and Olympian who recently just won Gold for the United States.

Before becoming one of the biggest talents in K-pop, Red Velvet's Wendy used to live in Canada and the United States. While attending Shattuck-Saint Mary's in Faribault, Minnesota, she was an honor student but also an athlete, going by the name of Wendy Shon.
