“Stop ing around Gem, it’s bad enough you’re not taking your medications. Your just going to get worse!” he stated, his eyes widened slightly as she sat up, a small bunch of popping noises followed. It was hard to see her in such a beaten up state. Her sitting up and faking her joy, just filled him with sorrow.

“Do you trust me, Lukith?” She questioned, holding out her bandaged hand. He nodded, looking down before taking her hand and hugging her fragile body against his chest. He kissed the top of her head, tears welled in his eyes. Slowly, the machines stopped, one by one. Soon enough, so did the young female’s heart.
