So I'm back at another writing experiment, which was quite frankly encouraged by how many of you came out in overwhelming support of me as a writer a few days ago when I was unfairly targeted on one of my stories. I'm always trying to branch out as an author. I think it's very hard to explain how desperately want to make this a career. Or perhaps you can when you read my fanfics here. I certainly live and breathe my characters and I know many of you do too. To become an author, there is so much promotion in publishing etc, that my first point of call was always you guys as this huge readerbase that I have. I've written for free for four years and I have never slacked off or just produced the same cookie cutter fics and used popular beds to get upvotes and subscribers. I've worked my off on each chapter, sometimes writing 10000 words daily just so that I could see how much you guys shared in my emotions on the stories.
I decided to re-route my efforts to Inkshares, because I know that perhaps pre-ordering a book you don't know is a challenge or maybe you can't pre-order and support me as you don't have the means to. So Inkshares is kind of perfect as you make an account and follow me and read the chapters as they go up for free.
This is the bit where I really, really need your support or my dream of becoming a writer becomes that much harder and stressful. On Inkshares, I've started a pre-order campaign. The aim is to reach 750 pre-orders in 90 days. If I don't reach that limit by then, whoever has put an order down gets a full refund and I'm back to square one (cries). But if I reach that 750 limit, Inkshares publishes my book, distributes it all around the world, gets it in front of TV/Movie producers, Audiobook producers etc. And you get the book delivered to your door!!!
In these next ninety days you will be reading the book for free online and I am aiming for a response where you really want to have a copy of it in your hands because you love it so much. I have never let you down in the past - ever. Daily updates are taxing for any author and I've worked on my own as a Jirene author and the subscriber counts on my fics show I've touched many people.
Please, please, please, this is your chance to give back if you can and help me get that many steps closer to my dream. Remember, 750 pre-orders is hard to reach so even if I don't, seeing your support and pre-orders is enough. They will all be fully refunded to you if I don't reach 750 by 90 days.
Urgh, I'm so nervous and shaking right now because I don't actually know what will come out of this and I never hope for the best because I always look at the negative side of things. But I'm going to pray <3
This is the story - all you gotta do is sign up to the site - it's super quick and simple - and follow me and my story and press pre-order if you are of age with a credit card etc. So there, you have it all laid out for you and I'm just going to keep my eyes closed for the next 90 days and have this entire original book updating for you on the side whenever and wherever I can. It is just like here - your comments on each chapter are going to inspire me to go on and imagine, if this gets published, you were an integral part of its development!
