Hello, friends!

I just wanted to make a quick post to let you all know that Through All Darkness is officially on hiatus. 

To be honest, this is just an acknowledgement of something that's been pretty obvious for a while. I've been feeling so guilty about not working on it for the last six months - I keep wanting to write the next part, but something else always pops up. I've had a list of WIPs as long as my arm, as well as fests with deadlines (not to mention NaNoWriMo) and it's gotten to the point where I just need to acknowledge that it's not going to get another chapter in the near future.

I do want to make it abundantly clear that I have not abandoned this story. It's too important to me to just drop. For the same reason, I don't want to pressure myself to write it before I can do it justice.

I am attempting to cap my fic list at 10 WIPS/prompts, so when I've whittled through that a bit I'll be able to knuckle down and focus on TAD a bit more. I've decided not to start any new fics until I've finished the ones I already have on the go, and I will also endeavour not to join any new fests until my to-do list is significantly shorter. I'm trying to get my together!

With that said, here's what you have to look forward to from me in the near future:

Two fic fests! I will cryptically point you in the direction of the fests when my stories have been posted, and of course I'll post them on here and AO3 when the reveals have been done.

Another chapter of Without Warning! I already have it started, and it's ticking over in my brain, so that will happen soon. It's third on my list, after the aforementioned fests are done and submitted.

The Feels Like Flying prequel! I spent NaNoWriMo cranking out 50k of a draft for this, so I'm decently on the way to having a coherent story. I have learned from my stress over TAD, though, and won't begin posting it until it's 100% written. That will hopefully be later this year.

And then, after that... I can finally start working on TAD again! (Unless it gets to NaNoWriMo time again before I finish the FLF prequel, in which case rinse and repeat.)

Thanks so much for your patience! My salad fingers are writing as hard as they can, and I will have many lovely stories to share with you all soon.
