If i can only use english stuff in my video prjects and not use wat i want to express my mind my thoughts u will always be stuck in the same place. Just because i think outside your box. ... Dose not mean im stupid or a shadow in the mist.... Each head is a different world and not to be a this is america wat happened to greedom pf speech and freedom.... Teachers these days... Ppl in general.... Tell me wat u think.. If u feel u are da only one that loves kpop or jpop and ppl make fun of u im with u on that boat... But reall y even some of my friends have been a total let down and my teacher points me out in front of my entire class. My soul gets ripped apart.... I have not only felt bad but ppl even tell im.not allowed to use asian names nore music.

thats never happened to me about the teacher part. but i get looks from friends saying the same thing 'why do you listen to it if you dont speak it?' or sometimes i get 'your mexican! mexicans dont listen to that?' if only they knew.... but i dont really give a crap about what they say. but when it was the first day of school teachers make us write something about ourselves and i mostly write how much i love kpop and want to go to south korea most of teachers just say at first 'what is kpop?' i tell them its korean music and they are like 'oh thats cool' but thats it

Hi-5. My previous principal was so against kpop that we didn't even get to listen to it at school carnivals but she allows very ual english songs to be played. My friends and I purposely filled up surveys with only kpop related answers

Yeah... I pretend I don't like it at school because then I'm sure a lot of people will hate me (mostly the Koreans get really pissed). A lot of people at my school say things like "Why do you want to listen to things if you don't speak the language?" Really? I can't understand what's being said in English music either most of the time!
The teacher shouldn't do that, though. That is completely wrong. If I was in that position, I would use it anyways because I would be willing to deal with the consequences just to say to the teacher "I'm going to use my rights!" But that's just me... haha. Well, good luck!

woah, ive never personally experienced this, but I feel really sorry for u :( I know if i wasnt allowed to listen to kpop or obsess over my biases, i dont know what i'd do with my life, but everyone is different so they should be allowed to like what they want aithout people criticizing them.
