► when it comes to yuri's ooey-gooey (wow, that's spelled wrong) side, she's a very, very lively person. she's your typical jokester. she's usually the one to mock one of her members as a joke. she has very crude humor, but that's what's so entertaining about her. sometime's yuri is that person that literally finds her own jokes to be the funniest. she cracks herself up. you'll know that yuri is with a group because she's always the loudest and preppiest one. she's excellent at making her mutuals laugh and have a good time. yuri will go out of her own way for anyone that she cares about. she's always open to new friends and oppurtunities. she's great at comforting. if a competitor on the show were to cry she'd go out of her way to kneel down and comfort her no matter what's in it for her.
► oh my god someone backup! yuri is seriously the pettiest human being on planet earth. she'll "throw shade" to girls that bug her nerves and sometimes even at the judges. she does slick things like roll her eyes and her teeth when she doesn't like the sound of something. yuri will ignore people on purpose and laugh and whisper with a mutual when the person she's upset at makes a mistake.  she's sassy as hell though. members say that she's scariest when she's upset. yuri is too straight up maybe. she'll say things like "wow, that shirt." and she doesn't even know she's doing it. to wrap things up: she's something.

background / 

► born in daegu, yuri was raised in a small home. she has two older siblings that she loves to death. in 2014, a desperate yuri audtions for big hit entertainment. yuri had been posting dancing routines and other acrobatic routines on youtube gaining other agencies attention, but was always too scared to accept. she thought, honestly, that since no one really knew big hit that she'd definitely get in. well, she made it. yuri's audition blew the judges away. they called her back in immediately. being a gymnast for years, she knows all kinds of flips and other cool things that she incorperates in her dance routines. yuri's proffesion might as well be dancing. it's a passion she's carried with her since the very young age of four. 

in 2015, however, she was nearly dropped from big hit. it was the toughest time of her life. during a dance routine she flipped incorrectly and broke her ankle severly. she wasn't able to do much of what she used to for a long while and big hit didn't have room for someone who's unable to do what she trained for. yuri practically begged to stay and promised she'd be back on the dance floor in no time. and she was. even though pain coursed through her veins she danced just as hard as she always had. 

when she was drafted for mnet's survival show "team spirit," she didn't know how to feel. at first she thought it was because she wasn't good enough to debut yet. but staff members of big hit informed her that yuri could take the challenge and that she would most definitly be a good representitive to the entertainment. nervously, she starts the next chapter of her life. it could be the last chapter and thats what scares her most.

yuri is so dangerously close with her mother. even though most of the time she was busy, being a single mother and all. but no matter how busy her mother always made way to fit in what all three of her childern wanted and needed. yuri sees her as a hero and she's her main motivation.

since yuri was always home with her big brothers, she was as close as she could be with her siblings. they were her care takers when their mom wasn't home. being the only girl though sometimes was more difficult than enjoyable. their her big brothers, of course they'll be aggrivating at times. yuri got her boyish attitude from growing up with two boys.

in yuri's eyes, this girl is just way too much. this girl bosses yuri around and she hates it. yuri hates to be bossed around. she takes a disliking in this girl because of her constant what feels like "attitude" toward yuri. this girl tries to competite with yuri in ways she's not liking. if they're on the same team, yuri hates doing anything with her. yuri's petty explodes all over this one individual. whenever this girl speaks yuri always has something to say or do. yuri will roll her eyes at something the girl says or she'll her teeth when being talked to. if this girl is on the oppisite team, she doesn't like that the girl thinks she's so much better than her and the same level of petty applies.
