//// TEAM SPIRIT! \\\\ HWANG JIYEOL (17)
POSITVE- Jiyeol believes she was always meant to be the Happy Virus of whatever group she eventually joins. She's self confident in herself, she knows that there is no part of her that anyone would consider her bad, and generelly never takes comments about herself seriously. She is also hilarious, in bad and tiring times, she will pop a random joke or antic to cheer up the crowd. Also she always finds the brightness in a dark situation, never giving up that easily (unless it's for variety). Jiyeol was never always ambitious ever since she became a part of JYP, but once she became a trainee, she has never felt so much ambitsious to be the best ever. Never before has she wanted to be an idol, or a dancer, or an actor, or an MC, all at the same time. Ever since then she has become ambtious.
NEUTRAL- There are 7 words to describe Jiyeol in the smallest of a nutshell. She, will, never, shut, the, , up. She could probably talk on and on forever and forever and she would never even stop talking in her sleep! To add to her chatter-boxness, she is a very loud member. Ready to literally scream her thoughts until the world hears her. She cannot whisper as her just whispereing sounds likes regular talking. And get ready to sit down for a story, because she has the energry to tell you all parts of the topic. She is like a beagle with a life time storage of coffee, always so energetic.
NEGATIVE- Sure self-confidence is good, but when it becomes obsesive, it can become ignoring. Jiyeol likes to believe he is generelly the best, she would rank herself first in looks, dance and whatever. Jiyeol also has a little hobby of disconnecting often. She is forgetful and is prone to daze of, even in serious situations. She always needs attention, like every second of everyday. She loves skinship, and will generelly be the one clinging onto everyone and anything. Jiyeol will always charge into things and say she will do them, without any idea, but she always fails.
LIFE IN GWANGJU- Hwang Jiyeol was born on the 17th of November in 2001. Born into a middle class family of 6, herself, mother, father twin older brothers and her grandma. During her youth her grandma mostly took care of her because her mother and father worked. But despite the absasence of her parents, she admired her grandma, even more so than her mother. Well not that much, but just by a tiny bit. Her grandma was so caring of her, and she has a lot to thank her for. When she was young he gained intest in dance through her grandmother. She always liked watching many young adults dance on a stage and have people scream their name. The curious little tyke, Jiyeol had asked to join a dance class. So when she turned 4 he was put into a youth dance class.
Without a doubt she was the best, She was confident in her dance moves, and on top of that she was suprisngly flexiable. She always got best performer award for any major concerts she had attended to. But when she turned six, her family moved to Seoul.
NEW BEGINNINGS IN SEOUL- Although Jiyeol was only at the young age of 6 when she moved to Seoul. It was scary, she hadn't even started school yet and she would have to go in with zero knowledge of Seoul. To make things worse she had to enter school mid-way during the year, leading her to already being behind everyone else, but nothing really stopped her being...herself. She was nice and kind to everyone but a pain-in-the for teachers. But nothing changed, she still loved dacning, and her parents made sure to put her in a dancing school straight away after moving.
Here, she learned many dances, ballroom dancing, jazz,, hip-hop, ballet, everything. Even b-boying. She felt at home here. Her biggest feat was a solo dance perfromance, a mixed solo dance performance between ballet and hip-hop when she was 10. And it was her 1st national competition, in 2011. But she floored, acing every move, every beat, while still looking calm about it. It was always her greatest feat. She won his 1st Golden Medal, at her 1st National competition. So many were impressed but not as much as the scout.
After the concert he was approached by a entertainment Scout and asked her would you like to become a trainee in Starship. Jiyeol at first declined but later came back saying that she will become a back-up dancer for Starship. She never knew why she wouldn't go thorugh the trainee process, she just didn't want too. So she went to her audition at the young age of ten 10 and was accepted straight away. She trained for 2 years, perfecting her dancing since she was too young to become a back-up dancer.
THE YOUNGEST BACK-UP DANCER- Two years after Jiyeol joined Starship entertainment, she began her back-up dancer life. Upgrading from the 3rd basement dance studio, to the dance studio on the higher floors. It was excillertaing stepping into the new, freashly cleaned dance room, noticing all of the other back-up dancers too and most importantly of all, Miss A her first gig was in 2013 for a Miss A music show. Sure he was new and young and everyone took care of him well.
NEW LIFE- Business continued for Jiyeool, going to different gigs with his company, sometimes being called on soley. On top of that she had to balance her final year of school and her work as a back-up dancer. Now she was at the tender age of 17, ready to face life, and ready to continue her life as a back-up dancer. Until
"Hwang Jiyeol?" A familiar voice called from behind. She turned around to see the boss himself, the big boss who led the whole ship. The CEO himself. Jiyeol was confused but went along with the whole meeting. He asked Jiyeol to sing, this was nerve-wrecking. She didn't really like singing purely because she was never good at it. Jiyeol sung a simple song, Twice's Cheer Up. She achieved the approval fromhim and she was asked to join the regular trainee path. Jiyeol wanted to flat out decline, she wasn't ready to drop straight to the bottom once again. But her grandmother convinced her otherwise. One long phone-call later of her grandma convincing her that this oppurtunity is great for her
So after that he went to CEO's office and said yes. But hw gave her bit more of an offer. There was a folder, signed with ensignia of MNET. He kept it short and direct, There is only one per company. You've been here along time Jiyeol, now go prove yourself that you're an idol. Although stunned by the offer, she accepted. Which leads us to today with her going onto Team Spirit.
