⟪ PERSONALITY ⟫  stubborn, hot-headed, sassy, sarcastic, mean, rebellious, insecure, aggressive, hostile, arrogant

Right off the bat, anyone who meets Rosalia would know immediately that she is extremely blunt. This girl tells it like it is and she doesn't give an ounce of a . Rosalia is that girl who would tell you the bitter truth without the slightest bit of sugar. Blessed with a snarky attitude and foul mouth, this girl is not afraid to express her opinions and is often referred to by her friends as the "queen of clap-backs." Rosalia has a mouth that can either make you cry or make you want to fight back. If someone doesn't like her or the way she thinks, that person can back down or prepare to get their handed to them on a silver platter. Feelings are the last thing on her mind, and for that reason, people had described her as audacious several times in the past. To Rosalia the hurtful truth is better than the littlest white lie — she herself would prefer hearing it like it is than be fibbed to.  For that reason, only a select few have heard her compliment a person for what they’re worth; when she says it, she means it, and most of the people on the receiving end of the praise think they’ve heard wrong. Rosalia won’t repeat it twice, though, so don’t expect to hear it again.

One of the best words used to describe Rosalia is confident. With her head held high, straight posture and confident walk, Rosalia believes she can do anything she sets her mind to. Her inner confidence shoots waves that you can feel from miles away. She never lets her guard down, and it's actually quite hard to get past her. Rosalia will never be seen backing down, and even when she's wrong — she's right; that's just how much she sounds sure of herself. The way she speaks makes one think otherwise of themselves and could lower their self-esteem for feeling inferior in comparison. Maybe it's almost borderline narcissism, but who cares; Rosalia doesn't. She's wholly stubborn and will stand her ground if needed, allowing her to win any match at ease. Even if you spat words in her face, Rosalia would either slap you with one of her notorious clap-backs or merely look you straight in your eyes,  stare you down and with a coy smirk reply "You done yet?" in a monotone voice. 

Other than her stunning beauty and foul mouth, another thing that makes her stand out amongst other females is her crude sense of humor and her sarcastic, witty remarks. But be careful if you plan on getting into a fight with this girl. Don't let this girl's look deceive you, Rosalia has quite a temper and a violent one at that. To Rosalia, you don't even have the luxury of choosing the high way, it's either her way or get punched in the face; you chose which path you'd rather take. She willingly challenges anyone, not caring who they are and verbally abuses anyone that bothers her. Rosalia is a fighter and refuses to back down from a challenge. She likes to have the upper hand in arguments and she wants something you better believe she's going to get it and will do whatever it takes to get it. Rosalia has no problem with the morality of her actions, as long as she gets what she wants. Rosalia swears and doesn’t care about how her actions affect other people or whether or not what she does is acceptable behavior. She will even do the exact opposite thing of what someone tells her to do, especially if she cares nothing for that person

Rosalia is actually one to hold grudges; pretty sure you saw that one coming. Trust is probably the most sacred thing to Rosalia and is something that she takes very seriously. Once you lose her trust, never in a million years expect to get it back. It's extremely difficult to even gain her trust in the first place since it’s not something that she gives freely. She has high standards for other people. She has no problem erasing people from her life who don’t measure up to what she deems worthy of her attention and trust. If someone were to betray her trust, that person better hope they never cross paths with her ever again. Rosalia also has an unhealthy manner of revenge that often involves detrimental pain and severe damage. She has no problem with the destruction of property or physically attacking anyone who stands in her way.

⟪ FATAL FLAW ⟫

Rosalia has her fair share of flaws, but if one had to choose which of them was her fatal flaw, is her inability to control her violent temper. As stated before, Rosalia has a hard time controlling her anger, and often she lashes out verbally if not physically. Although this seems to be more of a problem for the person who pissed her off, it's also a flaw that could easily backfire on her negatively. If she were to be in a battle with someone that required her to think strategically- she would lose. The minute the person says something to tick her off it would send her into an impulsive rage, making her every move very predictable. 
As a witch with powers, Rosalia would begin using them against people who got her blood boiling. If she controlled fire, she would wait until everyone isn't looking and set the poor soul's hair on fire. If she commanded water, she would make it look like the person wet their pants and so on.  This wouldn't be ideal if she and the others would want to keep their powers a secret, in fact, it would put that very secret in jeopardy- not like Rosalia would really care anyway.

⟪ BACKGROUND ⟫

Rosalia was born and raised in Roosenburg to Jesse and Elisa Jauregui, the youngest of their three children.  Her family is quite wealthy as her father is a very well-known defense lawyer and her mother owns and is the chef at Roosenberg's most successful restaurant. Growing up with two parents of different races allowed Rosalia and her siblings to grow up trilingual, speaking Spanish, Italian and English. With their busy schedules, it was difficult for her parents to keep an eye on their children since they had tight schedules and three kids. But Jesse always made sure to make time for his youngest daughter- whether it was her 1st-grade play or her 5th-grade band concert- Jesse made sure he was there to support his daughter. He wanted to make sure that Rosalia knew he was always going to be there for her and that he was her biggest supporter. This created a special bond between the youngest Jauregui and her father since her mother was always so busy with her restaurant that she never really made any time to do any of those things for Rosalia. 

When Rosalia was 10, her parent's busy and conflicting schedules had caused a rift in their marriage that couldn't be repaired. The couple ended up getting a divorce, and it was a pretty nasty one at that. Jesse and Elisa both wanted full custody of the kids which led to a pretty long and ruthless custody battle. Rosalia desperately wanted to live with her father, while her older sister wanted to live with her mother- her older brother didn't care who he lived with as long as he could stay in Roosenberg. But unfortunately for Rosalia, the judge ruled in favor of Elisa, granting her full custody of the children. Rosalia was absolutely devasted and to make matters worst; her father decided he no longer wanted to live in Roosenberg (since by this point he really couldn't even stand the sight of his ex-wife) and moved three hours away to the town of Houtport. After the divorce, Rosalia's relationship with her mother or sister suffered severely, and it hasn't recovered since. 

Ever since the divorce, Rosalia began to try and distract herself by picking up hobbies and joining school clubs giving her an excuse not to be home. This is around the time she got into sports and photography. Rosalia joined the girls' volleyball team as a way for her to blow off steam and because the practices and games would allow her not to be stuck at home with her mother. As time went on, she started joining other sports teams for the same reason, and by the time she got to high school Rosalia was on every sports team, she could be on. Along with sports, Rosalia really got into photography and on the rare occasions she was home, she liked to go on walks around her neighboorhood to take pictures. Nowadays the atmosphere in her house isn't as tense, so she's home a little bit more often, but still uses sports and photography as an excuse to come and go as she pleases. 

⟪ HOME LIFE ⟫

When she doesn't have practice, a game and she isn't sleeping over her best friend's house, forcing her to be home, Rosalia spends it in the sanctuary of her room. Rosalia's bedroom is her safe space; the only place in her house where she feels like she's free to be herself and is away from her mother and sister. The walls near her bed and desk are covered in photos that she's taken of her favorite people, places, and things. The corner where her makeup vanity is known as "Rose's happy place." Whenever she's home, and she's feeling stressed out, she likes to do her makeup at her vanity while watching Netflix or listening to music. There are only a few people who are allowed in her room, and those are her older brother, her boyfriend, Elliott and best friend, Lisa. Elliott and Lisa are both loved by her family, so they are always welcomed in her house with open arms. And her mother (and father) both trust Elliott enough that sometimes if he's at her house and it gets really late, they let him sleepover, but they have to keep the door open- even if it's just a crack (and it's the same thing when it comes to Elliott's parents). Lisa, on the other hand, can sleepover whenever she'd like, but Rosalia always prefers to sleepover at Lisa's house Rosalia doesn't really like it when her mom comes into her room, but never actually says anything to her because Rosalia's does have some respect for her mom for the simple fact that she gave birth to her.

Don’t ask Jesse how a man as blunt and abrasive as himself had the ability to reach the kind of successes that he has today because he doesn’t know. But what he does know is how much he loves and cherishes his family especially his daughter, Rosalia. They understand each other and love each other very much. Jesse loves to drown his daughter in affection. Rosalia grew up as a “Daddy’s Girl,” and they have shared a special bond since the day she was born. The first person who taught Rosalia how to laugh, the one to cherish her first baby steps; he is her first and eternal love- the one whose existence is appreciated with all her heart and vice versa. Rosalia spends literally every holiday and vacation she has with her father.

One word to describe this mother-daughter relationship is 'complicated'. Elisa and Rosalia do love each other, but they have always struggled with connecting with each other on a mother-daughter basis (unlike Elisa's relationship with her older daughter). Rosalia does become naturally a little bit nicer and calmer when she's around my mom because she has respect for her, but she does throw a temper-tantrum every now and then from pent-up frustration and resentment (from the fact that Rosalia wanted to-and still does- live with her Dad, and she blames her mom for him moving so far away). This has left Elisa and Rosalia to have a strained relationship, while both would like to fix it, neither know how to.

Ramon is immensely loving towards his younger siblings. Ramon was always the person his sisters could go to, something they never hesitated to do and Ramon always welcomed them with open arms. He can make his sisters smile and laugh in ways no one else could, and does not hesitate to go after those that hurt them. Rosalia talks to Ramon all the time, always texting and calling him with Ramon doing the same. Rosalia is never upset around Ramon (or at least, not for long), and is always immensely happy around him.

Just like her relationship with her mother, Rosalia's relationship with Teresa is complicated. Rosalia tries with all her might to not be in the same room as Teresa ever! They just haven't ever gotten along. Teresa is resentful towards Rosalia because Rose was clearly their father's favorite daughter. Rosalia resents Teresa because she blames her for the fact that the judge forced all of the Jauregui children to live with her mother instead of her father. On top of that, the two have very different personalities and argue about every and anything. Teresa and Rosalia hate each other. Hate is a strong word, but that's what they say to each other even though they know somewhere deep, deep, deep down inside of them, they love each other.

Lalisa (who actually prefers to be called Lisa) and Rosalia have been glued to the hip since they were in kindergarten. Lisa and Rosalia often refer to each other as their "sister from another mister." They are best friends and always express concern for one another when they're hurt, and call out the person who has caused it. Rosalia is less hostile and more patient towards Lisa than towards other people. And in turn, Lisa is not as easily offended by Rosalia's rude, sarcastic remarks. Rosalia is very kind and motherly towards Lisa, while Lisa is much less sensitive around her, and actually adores her "bad girl" attitude. Whenever the two are together they can never shut up. It's very hard to for outsiders to follow their conversations. They text each other constantly, both always answering immediately even if they are busy with other people. They are inseparable and if there's a day when they don't see each other, they'll keep in touch through texting or calls. Lisa and Rosalia tell each other everything and anything that happens and goes on in their lives. No secrets exist between them.

♡Doddling → Whenever she's bored at home or in class, she liked to doodle in her notebooks, in magazines, textbooks, etc. She doesn't draw anything too extravagant because she doesn't have the patience for it.
♡Photography → One of Rosalia's favorite things to do is take pictures. She never leaves her house without one of her cameras (either her Nikon D3400 or Fujifilm Instax Mini 9 instant camera). Her favorite thing to take pictures of is her boyfriend and nature. 
♡Listening to music → She likes a wide variety of music and always has to listen to music first thing in the morning while she's getting ready. 
♡Eating → food is life. Rosalia always has some kind of snack in her bag for whenever she's hungry in class or away from home. 
♡Volleyball → Volleyball is her favorite sport. She's even captain of the volleyball team- the only position of leadership she has, and she only has it because she's the best player on the team. 
♡Reading magazines → she doesn't really "read" the magazines, more like skims them and looks at the latest trends in fashion and all of the cool pictures.
♡Writing → Unknown to most of the world, Rosalia is an excellent writer. She likes to write poems and little mini-stories. She tends to write these during class when she should be taking notes.
♡Fighting → much to the dismay of her mother, Rosalia has gotten into her fair share of fights, both verbal and physical. People just seem to really like testing Rosalia's already short patience

Rosalia smiled at her friend's obvious excitement and not wanting to disappoint the blonde she sighs in response "Alright I guess I can tag along" she turned her attention back to her locker and getting her the stuff she needs for her volleyball practice. "But I can't guarantee I'll be there for the whole time" Lisa screeched in excitement and clapped her hands at her response. But soon her clapping was interrupted by the sound of someone scratching their throats.

Rosalia huffed as she gathered all of her things into her bag and shut her locker. She didn't even have to turn around to know who that voice belonged to, she turned around and looked into the eyes of her disappointed boyfriend "Babe it's not my fault that the only classes I find interesting are Math and Science. Plus the only class I've skipped is Social studies and you how I feel about Mr. Brenan. I ing hate that man." Elliott rolled his eyes and shook his head

He took his girlfriends' gym bag and proceeded to walk with her and Lisa to the gymnasium.

Rosalia rolled her eyes at her boyfriend's nagging but remained quite because she knew that he was right. As the trio finally made it to the gymnasium. Rosalia turned to her boyfriend and smiled and kissed him on the cheek while getting her bag from him. "Thanks for the warning, but I could care less if my mom gets mad at me skipping class. It's not like that's the worse thing I've done." Elliott shook his head "Whatever you say babe." and with that, he kissed his girlfriend goodbye and said goodbye to Lisa before walking down the hall to exit the school building. Rosalia then turned to her best friend as they made their way into the girl's locker room to get changed for volleyball practice "We're still getting ice cream after practice right? Today is my mom's day off and I don't want to go home early." Lisa smiled and nodded

Rosalia groaned as her best friend went on and on about different costume ideas, but she secretly thought it was cute how she was so into the theme for the school dance, although she'd never admit that to Lisa because then it'd give her an excuse to act like that about everything and sometimes Rosalia can do without her best friend's excitement screeches (get it like how SpongeBob has his victory screech lol I'll shut up now)

⟪ RELATIONSHIP ⟫

They started dating when they were around the age of 15. They had been friends before that, and somewhere along the lines Elliott fell head-over-heels for "Rosemore's bad girl." Their relationship is a bit confusing, as Rosalia is the "mean girl" and is prone to frequent fits of jealousy and anger, while Elliott is friendly and laid back. However, he does have his moments, frequently teasing Rosalia to provoke reactions out of her.

Rosalia is very possessive of her man. She doesn't like Elliott talking to or flirting with other girls who she does not know and has trust issues with him. Not because he cheated on her or doesn't trust him. No Rosalia knows Elliott would never do anything to hurt her intentionally; it's just that it's those other girls whom she doesn't trust. But Elliott does enjoy making Rosalia jealous and teasing her, which may only be because he wants to know that she still cares for him, since Rosalia is not a very romantic person and being possessive of someone/something is how she shows affection. She is quite irritable towards everyone but Elliott. In fact, she has never shown any hatred towards him, and this is because she puts up walls to the outside world and can just be herself around Elliott. 

Elliott has a lot of authority and control over Rosalia. She is mean and hostile to everyone and rarely listens when people tell her what to do, but when Elliott tells her to do something, she usually obeys him without arguing.He is able to calm her down and is the only one who can make her be polite. Although she argues with him a lot, she has a lot of respect for him and often tries to gain his approval. Rosalia seems to be a lot nicer and more sensitive when she is alone with Elliott. Even if she still tries to fight with him, he can usually get through to her when they're alone. Though they are almost holding hands whenever they are together, Rosalia and Elliott act more romantic when they aren't in public.
