I recently been avoding all things Jonghyun related because it's still too raw and fresh for me. But in the end, we have to let go and as I've been trying to work through the pain, I see that so many others, not just in life but right here in our AFF community are still struggling. Guys, we know SK has some messed perceptions about mental health and some of that may have hastened our Jjongie's passing. But there is help, and it doesn't always have to come in the form of a therapist or hotline call. What Jonghyun struggled with is something that most of us here have faced. I told myself that if I could've helped Jonghyun, I would've been on the next flight to Korea, no questions asked. And so I wondered why shouldn't I do the same for any of you who may be struggling? Because I couldn't reach out my hand to save Jonghyun, I'm reaching out my hand to you all instead. I need you guys to know that I'm not just here to write stories to take your minds off of your daily problems; we all exist to help one another.
