appearance as far as zhiqiang remember, zhiqiang never had any problems with his appearance, really. he's not much of someone who really goes all out when it comes to skincare— he uses facial cleanser, he use moisturizers when it gets too dry and that's it, nothing too complicated. he has brown hair and a straight eyebrow. he's quite tall and is quite broad. he looks like he can beat a guy and probably can. his eyes are brown in colour and his lips are quite pink; he didn't smoke.

— zhiqiang is very friendly. he's very easy to get along with and the type to initiate a conversation and would try very hard to keep the conversation alive. it's pretty much hard to not befriend him because well, he's the type to mass text all of his friends, good morning. he can also be seen as a very caring person. zhiqiang would admit that he's the type to has a lot of friends— but only value some that he believes to be his ride-or-die friends. with these precious ones, he tends to be very caring. he makes sure that they are in a good condition and would fight for these precious little ones. he cares about them a lot; but well, he's a total romeo, right? so, he never really shows how much of a caring person he is. a total bad boy with a golden heart, kind of. zhiqiang is also a very happy-go-lucky person. zhiqiang tends to be very cheerful and emits positive vibes. he likes to cheer people up and is definitely good at it. fhe's never seen looking glum and sad. in fact, he's never seen sad. he has a hard time showing his sensitive side to the point where he interprets sadness as anger but he knows how to manage his anger. aside from that, he's your typical happy virus... with a deep voice. sure, sure, he might have been air-headed and dumb at times but when it comes to the people he love– zhiqiang tends to take a super good care for them. he's very loyal to those he deemed worthy to be loyal at. zhiqiang would avoid talking trash of his friends; even when they got into a fight. zhiqiang also would beat a person for his friends and his loved ones because he feels unworthy and useless if he didn't protect those who he loves and hold dearly to his heart.

— meet wu zhiqiang, your little cute boy born in beijing, china. there was nothing extraordinary about zhiqiang. he was born in a family that isn't rich but they could splurge on branded items once in a while. zhiqiang's father is a professor while zhiqiang's mother is a journalist and a writer. zhiqiang has an elder sister who's now currently working as a doctor and a younger brother who's not interested in being an artist. overall, nothing stood up in his childhood. well... maybe that's because he spend a short one.

— zhiqiang felt homesick a lot. well, when you're still growing up, you'll find how your mother can bring a significant change in your life. zhiqiang, however, grew up with her mother, thousand miles away from him, separated by the oceans. well, of course, he did visit her twice a year, but still, it was not enough. so, he settle down with a different type of attention. attention by the girls— he's very famous in the company for flirting a lot. 

— zhiqiang may had flirted a lot; but he's very loyal when it comes to love. zhiqiang once had a girlfriend, which is your cute "shy shy shy" girl, minatozaki sana. back then, zhiqiang and sana is kind of your cutest secret couple. zhiqiang, the total romeo and sana, the girl-next-door. he was also one of the shortlisted members to debut in got7 but well, he wasn't prepared enough for the job, as the coaches said and he had no choice but to continue on training. 

— things got tougher when sana was chosen to be apart of the show, 'sixteen' and when sana was casted as a twice member, things became rockier. sana and zhiqiang decided to end their relationship as sana's schedules will become more packed. he felt lost and lose hope in being an idol anymore.

his days as a trainee is paved with its ups and downs, really. he was scouted by a jyp representative in his hometown when he performed with his dance crew– he left his family at the age of thirteen. he went to south korea with no idea of the culture, the language and the life he had signed up for himself. getting used to the culture and mastering the language is easy for him as he is a quick learner. he trained night and days— when he heard that jyp is selecting trainees to debut got7, man, he was stoked. but his high spirits died when he didn't make the cut. he started slacking in a little bit— started dating, playing around with others and trained not hard enough. 

jinwoo saw it and was genuinely concerned about his lack of interest into being an idol. he talked zhiqiang out of his little bubble of insecurity and doubt of not debuting, making him work as hard as he can again– but still, the chinese prince was not going anywhere.it disheartened him a lot when sana got to debut, but thankfully, there's jinwoo to make sure he's fine. when his contract ended with jyp, he decided it is best for him to move out of the company and search for other companies to debut him; but it wasn't that easy.
