appearance she doesn't stand out and gives off a distant vibe. people sometimes forget she's even there and that's fine with arisa since that means she can finish her book in peace. she has naturally wavy hair long and her bangs just in line with her eyebrows. for her makeup, she usually just use cherry lip and cheek tint then puts layer of cherry lip balm on top because she gets chapped lips easily due to the cold weather.
fashion her fall fashion staples are skirts, neutral colored tights and leather boots. she likes floral patterns and checkered patterns the best. arisa has a large array of dresses and skirts but owns only one pair of pants and no shorts at all.

PERSONALITY

lone wolf

ARISA is a person that rarely openly talks with other people unless needed with only a few exceptions such her mom and house investigation colleagues. She isn't a shy person, but more of an unsocial type of girl. she usually is cool, calm and collected but can be a bit reckless or aggressive if she is desperate tofulfill a goal or purpose; she's also willing to do something that someone else wouldn't do to accomplish such goals.

honesty is the best policy

she is the realest person you will ever meet, she won't sugarcoat anything and say what the mean: they often come of as rude and even insensitive at times, but she doesn't have any bad intentions. She isn't afraid of confrontations and will say what she honestly thinkd without beating around the bush. for the benefit of other people, she can say the truth when others can't or won't point it out. Most, if not all of the time, her comments are simply the truth. Though the way she convey it is another matter entirely. with regards to secrets, she is trust-worthy but it depends on what kind of secret it is. if it is a secret that is vital to the investigation and if the person begs her to shush, she will keep it. if not, she will say it without any hesitations.

walking encyclopedia

the bookworm and researcher of the team. she spent most of her childhood in the town library and has read every book in there. she has her own collection sent by her mother. you can never see her without a book in hand except when chasing down suspects.

she lays down hypotheses using logical and scientific reasoning before assuming that anythig is supernatural. "rationality is a first" is her motto.

cold as ice cream but still as sweet

she may seem antisocial and exceptionally cold with her bluntness but deep down, she's kind and sweet. she's the person who leaves freshly baked cinnamon cookies on the neighborhood lonely grandma's doorknob, and feeds the homeless cats and dogs. She can also smile when she feels good.

history 

PAST

everyone knows the story of arisa's mom. she was a police detective. she was the best and brightest until one case, a serial killer case, came about. she was too slow for the killer, costing lives of innocent people including her husband. she retired in the middle of the investigation and moved to oceanview when arisa was still a month old. she applied as a waitress in small diner in the heart of oceanview.

CHILDhood

arisa grew up idolizing her strong mom. when she was 4 years old, she told her mom that she wanted to be a detective like she used to be. her mom quickly said no. but that didn't stop her. with her same age friend and neighbor, sally Cho, they always played sherlock holmes and Dr. wason, and hung around the library to read nancy drew and other detective stories. when she was 14 years old, her mom decided to leave oceanview to get a higher paying job so she can support arisa's dream of getting into university. arisa was left alone in their home, though her mom visits during the holidays.

present

Arisa is now in her sophomore year of high school. she is a honor student and planning to get out of town to study forensic science in a prestigious university. of course, she hasn't told her mom that she still wants to be a detective and find that serial killer, for her mom and dad.

lifestyle 

Morning

because she's currently alone at home, she wakes up as early 5:30 Am to do the chores. She makes herself and the cats breakfast (usually bacon and pancakes with a cup of brewed white tea, and cans of tuna for the cats), washes the dishes, sweeps the floors, then she proceeds to preparing herself for school. She goes to sally's an hour before school starts and they drive to school with sally's old pickup truck.

School

Arisa and sally arrive 40 minutes before school starts. They usually hang out in the literature club room for arisa to read for first period notes and for sally to spot cute boys from the window, and leave 10 minutes before first period starts. They're not classmates so they meet up again at lunch. after class, arisa meets up with her investigation colleagues, while sally goes to her part-time job in downtown. Arisa has a personal curfew set by her at 11 PM since she has a rule of maintaining 6 hours of sleep.

Personal

When investigations are off and she has no schoolwork, she heads to the town library to read then goes home before dark. sometimes she reads on the beach. Sometimes when sally has a day off, they go to the next town to catch a movie. on sundays, she bakes large batches of cookies for sally, her colleagues and the neighborhood lonely grandma, and does her laundry.

WHY DO THEY WANT TO GO ?  I aspire to be a detective. this investigation might be small, but it will give me experience such as researching, looking for clues, and interviewing people, which i believe i need to practice on due to my poor social skills.

what do they think is happening ? logically, the hosue is just old and rickety, making the people outside think it's a haunted house. the residents of the house are just normal people.

who is the young man that comes from the house ? the man is a normal resident who appears to be cold and distant since the nosy neighbors spread rumors about his house eeing cursed or haunted. i, too, will be pissed if i, a normal being, were always eyed by the townsfolk for living in a normal home that is just not well maintained. people are too gullible to believe that when they can't explain anything, it's automatically related to the supernatural.

what would their parents say about them investigating the house ? my mom would implode.

RELATIONS
 Hirose mei. arisa's mother and protector. She adores arisa so much that she finds a job as a bodyguard for a high-profile ceo just to send her to college. she calls regularly in the morning and afternoon to check up on arisa. They have a friendly and playful relationship. she blames her husband's genes for arisa's bluntness, and her own stubborness for arisa's fatal independence.

 sally amaki. Her childhood best friend. She is the Dr. Watson to Arisa's Sherlock Holmes and the summer to Arisa's winter. sally is a cheerful and energetic girl who can easily make people smile, including Arisa. Being an only child, she considers Arisa as her sister and same goes for Arisa. Like Arisa, she also enjoys detective stories but doesn't have the guts to do a real investigation. She often teases Arisa  to lighten up and just enjoy life like her. She knows how Arisa is a bit of a workaholic when she is driven, and she admires her for her spirit, but she also feels bad that Arisa sometimes forget to spend time with her.
