APPEARANCE: As one of the guys, LayZ does on first glance bear strong resemblance to the other members, however, once you get to know him better, definetely has a distinguidahble face of his own. LayZ has an etreme doe-eyed appearance. His eyes are round and innocent, and his lips are small and (slightly) plump. His skin is smooth and even, and he is definetely, along with another member, getting prettier by the day. There are only really two things we have problems with for LayZ. For one, his nose, which we find to be much bigger than should be for his face. Certain angles only make it look worse too, The other is his awkward smile. When LayZ laughs, it's cute, but when he smiles it just seems so fake, which is unfortunate considering we really doubt he's faking a smile all the time. It's just the way his smile naturally looks and we don't like it.

STYLE: We often see LayZ being all glammed-up and cool and charming on stage, on the red carpet and other events/activities, but airport photos show us a different side of P.ter wearing more laid-back, comfortable clothes. According to the other trainees, LayZ is the member who spend the least amount of effort when it comes to fashion. He’s so cool, right?.

PERSONALITY:

LayZ has firstly proven himself to be a variety prince. Layz just seems to be good at anything, and we do mean anything. He’s hilarious on “Infinity Challenge” and has numerously proven himself to be daring, whether it’s him catching chickens, rolling around in mud, revealing his real height or baring his face for all. He honest nature makes us absolutely love him, and we adore that he has an “I don’t care” outlook on what others think of him. When people bashed LayZ, the guy didn’t care, and kept doing the same gushy-mushy act on shows. Some anti-fans find LayZ rude and inroverted but they protect him from being rude he is sometimes rude but not in a bad way, he sometimes is a people' person but not always. But LayZ' is just so purposely exaggerated it’s hilarious. Granted, though we love the more “boy-ish” charm he’s been exhibiting lately, we’ve never had anything wrong with LayZ' great personality.

But, LayZ has lots of other bad side. He talks too much. LayZ can never shut . He is a bright sunshine. Though. he gets nervous whenever in big crowds and would freeze when meeting someone new, he can never stop talking when he starts feeling comfortable. He is also very impatient. He whines a lot, earning groans from his family. He is also bipolar. well, during his time of month that is. she would get mad over small things. He would bite your head off if you drink her milkshake or eat her ice cream. LayZ is also blunt. He doesn't think before speaking and blurts out stuff that wasn't meant to be blurted. LayZ can nag without hurting his throat. His endless words sometimes annoy others especially his friends. He can also be dense at certain points. He could never get the situation although he is an intelligent prick.

BACKGROUND: 

LayZ was born on April 19, 2002, in Biejing, China His family consists of his brother . While LayZ was still an infant, him and his mother moved to Suwon. As a result, LayZ grew up being scared of loud noises, he didnt like the noise of fireworks because when he was little his mother would put firewors on for display they should go up and explode but it went absolutely wrong, the firework went into the ground and exploded. Once she grew up LayZ tried to go to different entertainments such as S.M. Entertainment. After a few years at the age of 13 he saw some posters saying "Auditions" so this was his chance to be in an entertainment since he was 15 he can now join an actual anertainment an live his life as an idol.

As LayZ made it clear he wanted to start acting, LayZ would go with his brother once in a while to see how he was doing. During one of those trips, the producers asked his brother if 14k would be an extra since a few of the children in the scene weren't going to make it. That was his first taste of being on a sort of stage which he can only remember now if his family points it out in the scene of the movie he was in. He started visiting his brother, Lu Han more in movie studios. Seeing he is happy while acting made her want to persue something as well to make her happy. His brother signed him up for dance lessons as a start to see if he would enjoy it. That one moment changed his life forever as he realized during his 1st year at dance classes, he loved rapping. He continued to rap but mainly his goal is to sing more than rapping when he was in school and got into k-pop through his brother. One day, he and his friends decided to take part of a k-pop rap competition. After performing in front of an audience alongside his friends, LayZ realized that he wanted to become an idol one day like his brother because he immediately fell in love with the feeling of being on stage. He had rapping and sinsing lessons with his vocals teacher, his teacher taught him new tips so he noted down tips and listened more to rappers and singers such as JYP, Gary, Haha, Skull etc, after a few hours of listening he stunned his teacher with his lovely singing voice.

TRAINING BACKGROUND:

Having trained for S.M. LayZ had some background for the training process, His teachers in Starship praised him for his charm and talent about lead vocals and even praised him for his growing dancing skills. His trainee life was smooth because of being a former trainee in a well know company. But after a while LayZ left S.M. because the dance teacher did not like the way he danced, he told his brother about his dance teacher but they both couldn't do anything about it. So he moved to YG Entertainment which was a new company in South Korea he loved going to practice for a few weeks at YG Entertainment, the teachers loved him because of his true talent after a weeks later, his older brother Lu Han coming to visit him and see how he was doing.
