Biography: hyerae comes from a typical korean - american family in korea. she was born on 15 th oct 95 at the Seoul Hospital. currently - her father was deceased while she only stays with her mother and her older brother. her father is american while her mother is korean. around 6 years old, her family moves to america because of her father's job. but after his death , they moved in back to korea just because her mother missed her hometown so much.

her early life was not easy since after her father's death , her mother have to responsibles with everything. she almost being taken away for adoption because her mother's economy didn't stable at that time. but her brother rescued her and saved her from that. and her mother promised her not to do that ever again.

before debuting , she already a student of music and art. as it was her interest to begin with. she practically learning the vocals , rap and dances in her period of time there. though she can't really sings well , her achievement on the music composition weren't a jokes. there's once time , her music notes was being copied by someone bad and that person got the praise instead of her. of course she;s being sad about it. but her friends at the rescue. telling the proffessor about the real person who did the composition is hyerae. the bad person have to dropped out from the uni just bcs she's being ashamed to face hyerae. though actually hyerae is cool about it. since she don't hold grudges.

her trainee days was so hectic tbh. she officially got scouted by yg ent when she won one of the performances competition held by her uni. at the first day , she was so clueless and stunned each time her sunbae , like bigbang , winner and ikon passed by. until one day , a sunbae as well but she's also a trainee there starts asking her to do things. it's so tiring for her since she wants to practices also. but all things stopped when an angel come and save her life.
