— We have a bit of a problem with Kai' personality. On one hand Kai seems to exhibity the "perfect" imperfet character. He's kind, charming, uber-friendly and faithful. His hyper tendencies and optiistic charming nature lead many to call him EMPIRE' brightest mamber. Kai has this totally open, carefree vibe around himself, and while he is a member that has gotten into trouble in the past, mainly due to his western-mannersisms that made him seem rude in traditional Korean customs, this isn't why we have a problem with him,

Our issue with Kai is that we can't help but feel he's so 'fake' and yes, we know it's so immature and typical anti to call an idol 'fake', and truth to be told we're nothing near antis to extremely loveable Kai, he just seems so surreal to us. Hardly have we ever met a person, as dazzling and happy as Kai in real life whom is actually that way. Most people that put up a happy front usually aren't as gleeful in real life and this feeling is so nagging whenever we see Kai on a variety show, or holding an interview.

— Do Kyungmin is 17 years old and is from Goyang, South Korea his brother is Do Kyungsoo or better known by his stage name D.O. They are both close to rach but D.O. is sometimes busy with EXO concertsor his acting career he is 25 years old at the moments, Kai calls him Hyung or Eomma because D.O. takes good care of his brother when he is not busy. Kai also has an older brother named Do Seungsoo. Just like his brother Kai participated in school dance and singing competitions that was throughout school. In 2015 he won a dance competition at his school after one of his friends posted a video of it on YouTube and Kai sending the video to Starship Entertainment as his audition. In 2015 he became a trainee at Starship Entertainment as he realises he would be a brilliant K-pop idol just like his brother, a few weeks later just before the new year began Kai left the company due to fans hating him on twitter just because he wanted to follow his brother' footsteps. At the beginning of the new year he got scouted by JYP Entertainment he began training at the company in 2016 towards 2017 and is still a trainee at JYP Entertainment because JYP was debuting a new co-ed group called 'EMPIRE'.

After wanting to become a trainee Kai realises not only he wanted to become an idol but an actor too to follow his brothers footsteps, he did make a cameo appearance in "Who Are You School 2015?" and he was also a child actor so he as experience of acting. Kau had to audition for a lead or a main role for a drama that he was about to be announced later in 2018, the drama was called 'Are You Human Too?' which was about a son who had an unexpected accident when he falls into a coma. His mother who works at a labortory creates an android called Nam Shin IIIwhich looks like her son, the android pretends to be Nam Shin and he has a bodyguard Kang So-bong.

— Having trained for Starship, Kai had some background for the training process, His teachers in Starship praised him for his charm and talent about his rapping and even praised him for his growing singing skills. His trainee life was smooth because of being a former trainee in a well know company. But after a while Kai left Starship because of all the hate he got on twitter. In 2016 he go scouted by JYP Entertainment on the street which was a well known company in South Korea he loved going to practice for a few weeks at JYP Entertainment, the teachers loved him because of his true talent after a weeks later, his older brother D.O. coming to visit him and see how he was doing.
